    7/24/24 - Raising Canes
    Brie F.

I have to agree with another reviewer who stated that they don't get the hype about this place. I felt the same way after I gave in. I decided to try it because I love chicken tenders and boneless wings of any kind. Unfortunately, I have to say I'm truly disappointed. I ordered the Caniac Combo (Extra Toast & Tender). The audacity of me...le sigh. I thought Raising Canes would put a little bit more pizzazz into the food. While my food was made fresh to order it lacked seasoning. I couldn't quite put my finger on what they used to season the chicken but a little bit of salt and pepper would go along way. Let me start off by saying I'm not a fan of crinkle fries. The raising Cane sauce is absolutely horrendous. The sauce was a tangy overly peppery hot mess. Definitely no comparison to Russian dressing or thousand island dressing. The star of the show was the Texas toast. How can you mess that up? It was pillowy soft and buttery. Oh and that sweet tea was bussin, bussin!

Solid Raising Canes, big with upstairs seating. Clean, food came out hot a fresh. Sauce was delicious as always. Service is friendly and nice.

I think its way too hyped up and its really expensive here. I got the three piece chiken tender combo and the chicken was kind of dry. Ordering was really fast. Theres nice lighting and a lot of option seating.

I've seen a few locations opening up and this is a good thing! Right on the corner of Main Street and Roosevelt. There are tables and booths and the order counter is in the back. There's also an upstairs section as well. They have good chicken and lemonade here. The fries are good as well. I'm not a huge fan of the sauce though. Quick option for a bite but this location can get very busy.

I visited Cane's Chicken & tried their chicken tenders, fries, & the bread. The chicken tenders were perfectly fried & delicious, and paired well with the Cane's sauce. I chose to skip the drink, which saved me 80 cents, bringing the total to about $12. For the price, it was a solid meal. The indoor space was also spacious and generally clean. That said, I would say this place didn't quite stand out, but I would recommend for those looking for a quick meal.

I stopped in for lunch and got 4 chicken tenders, which was more like 3.5 because one was so short. Food came out quickly and the place was clean. The bathroom was supposedly out of order, but the employees were using it. These city restaurants should have a sink and soap outside the bathroom so you can wash your hands before eating if they are going to lock the bathrooms, so crackheads can't shoot up inside them.

I go to fast food chains infrequently due to their high sodium levels, but I would definitely recommend this place for someone without hbp issues, as a cheat day &/or in a hurry. I went with the 4 piece meal: chicken fingers (were tender and tasty); fries (were crinkle cut... crispy outside, soft inside); coleslaw (was fresh and not soggy); grilled toast (was buttery!); and a coke zero (i ordered less ice, but they still packed it with crushed ice, nonetheless, refills are free!). It came out to a little over $15 total, but it's worth it once in a while, especially when sharing!

I recently tried Raising Cane's and ordered the 3 Finger Combo. While the chicken tasted fresh, I found it to be a bit underwhelming in terms of flavor--no real seasoning or spice to speak of. The Cane's sauce, which is hyped by many, was okay, but I didn't find it to be anything special. On the positive side, the fries were crisp and perfectly cooked. The location I visited was busy, but the staff worked efficiently, and my food came out quickly and hot. Overall, it was a nice experience, though I was mainly there to see what all the hype was about.

-service is exceptional, for a fast food place. They were really nice and checked up on the tables and such. The store has an upstairs and a main level so plenty of seating. - this place is good if you like plain, bland, slightly soggy chicken fingers. I've had better frozen ones from Trader Joe's. Don't get me wrong. The portions are huge and the fries are good, but the chicken itself is bland and not crispy. Overall it's fun to try once but I don't think I'd eat there again.

3 tenders w fries and bread doesn't taste good

Chicken tastes just like oil, no spices, and no texture. Fries taste like school cafeteria microwaved. The bread had a cheap sour smell. Flavor overall wasn't inedible but nowhere near good. Price was on the high side , 3 tender w fries costed around 13 dollars which is expensive in my opinion. Only good thing about the place was the speed it took from ordering on the kiosk to getting the food it only took like 3 minutes.

I wasn't planning on eating here, it just happened to be on the way to where we initially wanted to eat. There was no line whatsoever so we decided to check it out and since there were seats, no brainer. . From ordering to getting my order, it was literally under 5 mins. They move fast. I asked the cashier about the long line before they opened and he said they were all served. Wow. Impressive to say the least... . I never had @raisingcanes so this is my first impression, I was impressed. Not that I had high or low expectations going in... . We shared the 6 piece combo $19.99 . The chicken fingers were hot and fresh. Very juicy as well. Depending the piece, some are thicker than others. Their famous sauce is ok. It didn't blow my mind or anything like that. I'm more of a honey mustard person. It's good and bad that they only offer one sauce. . The crinkle fries were hot and salted well. . The Texas toast was good. Like a really good slice of thick butter toast. Not sure how it fits into the meal though. . To drink - 1/2 sweet tea and 1/2 lemonade. The AP (Arnold Palmer). . Because of their grand opening, they were giving out free gift, I got the disco ball lip balm... . In all, it was good and I would definitely go again. It's clean and nice (for now).

This was my second time having Raisin Canes and I honestly recalled it being better than this. The bread has this sour smell that I don't like and honestly everything's just mid. The service was regular. Don't care to come back.

I decided to cave to the hype and give them a shot. Honestly I'm pretty disappointed, there was nothing special about this place. Only good thing was the chicken was fresh given the constant flow of people and came out quick. But I'm really not sure what all the hype is about here. One and done for me

The staff was friendly and fast, which I wasn't expecting since the stadium was packed. I got the fries and a chicken burger. I did think $9 for a small side of fries was ridiculous, but needless to say, they were not greasy at all and perfectly crispy so I was happy. My change chicken burger was decent. The flavor was good as was the aiole on it, but I found myself having to take pieces of the breading of the chicken out of my mouth because there were pieces that were too hard that I couldn't chew. We ordered the Shack Stack ($14.59), Chicken Stack ($10.19), Double Shackburger ($11.49), Hot Dog ($5.19), and Cheese Fries ($7.49). Note the prices are slightly higher than outside the stadium, but that's how baseball games are. The Shack Stack is tasty and I also love the cheesiness from the fried shroom. I'd pass on the chicken stack though, as their burgers are the best items here. The quality is the same and great to enjoy while watching the game.

Because the late night memories created here since my childhood may be better than anything I will ever eat at this fast food chain that has its own movie. On a recent night after dinner, two of us felt unsatisfied and still needed something small to satiate our appetites. However, we were also not that hungry. so we ended up here for just the right amount of food. Yes, I know. The bread is mushy, the meat is steamed, and the portions are tiny. Regardless, it hits the spot for no apparent reason except it's what we craved. Lol Every once in a while, my friends also bring a couple of crave cases to my house for pot luck parties. Everyone jokes about not eating too many murder burgers, but they always seem to disappear quickly. I guess we all crave some nostalgia sometimes.
