A very loud and crowded place at 1:32 pm. the music is just as loud as someone yelling. There's a line to order and for the bathrooms, both male and female. I love Raising Canes from frequent travel on the Gulf coast outside of Florida. For years I've told people that they are a must-go place. We almost always stop at the one in Mobile while on a road trip. This location on Miami Beach has some major issues. On the way in I was approached by a beggar, and instructed to order food for him as he basically blocked my entry. Once inside another beggar asked me for money as I waited in line. After placing my order, two apparently homeless people were sharing a plate standing at the drink fill and utensils station. They didn't move to let others get paper towels, ketchup, forks, or drinks for a while. Eventually they moved, and left a disgusting mess behind including used napkins and a mountain of ketchup. When I got my order, I started looking for a table, which quickly became a search for a clean table. Crumbs, dripped sauce, and trash covered most tables and the floor. I don't understand why people wouldn't clean up after themselves, but the staff should definitely be staying on top of this mess. Perhaps customers just don't care because obviously the staff don't care. So sad that a new "flagship" location such this has fallen so quickly to such an unsanitary low. Canes corporate should be ashamed. I work on the other end of Lincoln road, and I've been surprised to hear people saying it was horrible and disgusting. Now I see why first hand. I wasn't busy at all, so it's doubly concerning that the place is such a wreck. Anyhow, I cleaned up a table to use, which happened to be right below a speaker blasting both music and pickup announcements at over 87 decibels (I measured it after my Apple Watch warned me of potential hearing damage). A very disappointing experience. If I go back, I'll take it to go. I probably won't go back. All I can say is that there is, at this moment, one clean table with a seat that doesn't have sauce dropped all over it... just find the loudest spot in the place! read more

I'm from the Northeast and we are just getting Cane's up north. We don't have too many in my area. I'm down in Miami on vacation and this was my first Cane's experience. I've only heard great things from friends, and so I was very excited to go. I was very disappointed. I found canes... average. Aesthetically, this location was very pleasing. However, it was so popular, the bathrooms went unattended for some time. The 2 bathrooms were both gender (rather than a dedicated men's room and women's room). When we got there, my friend went into the bathroom to pee, and when he came out, he said it had no paper towels. When we were done eating knowing we had like 4 hours ahead of us, I went to pee. The woman coming out of one of them said there was no toilet paper. Idk if it was the one my friend had used, but now this one had neither paper towels nor toilet paper. When I came out the next person in line was a the girl who took my order. So I told her that that restroom had neither, and her response was to exclaim an offense against the 2nd Commandment. But she then closed the bathroom. And it was closed for like 15 minutes. But it went for at least an hour with no paper towels and who knows how long with no toilet paper. And granted they can't do anything if no one tells them, but I kinda felt like Walter from "The Big Lebowski"--of all the people who used the bathroom, my friend included, am I the only one who cares??? (censored for all audiences). But again, overall, this location was huge and bright and clean. And the bathroom itself was clean, albeit, unstocked. THE FOOD was, and this is where I may upset some people, average to below average. As Dwight says about Michael's breath, it was "good not great." I would go again but wouldn't go out of my way to go. Aside from aesthetics and cleanliness, everything about (this?) Cane's was a less-good version of Popeyes. The breading on the chicken seemed like Popeyes breading but not as good, not as seasoned, not as thick, not as well-battered, not as well-coated, nor did it stick to the chicken as well. It was bland and had no taste. The famous "Cane's sauce" was equally unimpressive. It looked like Red Robin's campfire sauce, but also had no taste. I used it cause it was there, but I kept asking myself, "why am I using this? What's the point?" The fries were okay, but nothing to write home about. And the toasted hotdog bun...? Who puts sesame seeds on just the top of a hotdog bun? I got a lemonade cause I'm not supposed to have caffeine (even tho I wanted a sweet tea--Popeyes sweet tea is good). The lemonade tasted like countryime instant. Kinda gross. Didn't finish All in all, put a Popeyes in canes, and I'd be sold. Maybe other locations do it better? Aesthetics - 5/5 Staff - 4/5: minus 1 star cause they had to be told about the bathroom when they had a cleaners just walking around--and cause she took the Name of the Lord in vain, but this is the world we live in these days. There were a lot of people, but plenty of open seating. Food took no more than 15 minutes. Again, worth it because it came out piping hot. This place had a lot of hype and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The food was fresh but the chicken tenders were small and the bread could have used a bit more butter. I got my food around 11 and it was not really hot. The sauce was a bit bland. The sitting area was clean but the soda and condiments area had spilled juice and was bit messy. The service was okay not super great. I was in the area and was happy to see Raising Cane's. I heard a lot about this restaurant and decided to try it. It was very crowded but the line moved quickly. I ordered chicken strips and fries. I thought the fries were OK. Nothing special about them. They were crinkled. I also ordered chicken strips. This is where this place shines. The chicken strips were juicy and flavorful. I like how the flavor is different from other chicken strips elsewhere. It just tasted like a pure chicken taste if that makes sense. Nothing icky. This location in Miami Beach is such an adorable unique location! The inside is decorated with so many interesting things and so much attention to detail. They even have a kiosk where you can order your food yourself. The staff was very friendly and the inside was pretty clean. My food was fresh as always when I visit any canes. Lots of good social media on this place so had to check it out. I gave them 3 stars because the chicken tenders, fries were pretty good but Texas toast and their famous sauce was disappointing. We took some tenders and fries back to our hotel but their food DEFINITELY does NOT travel well at all. They also ran out of sauce and by the time they made a new batch our food was on the cold side. Design of the store was pretty cool with a mix of booths, tables & chairs as well as high tops. All the hype about this place is just that... hype. I heard TikTok made them famous cause of the large amount of basically a ketchup, mayo, garlic, celery salt and maybe sage sauce you can get. That was also a let down that for what we paid for a not so good sauce that was only 2/3 filled. If you go here the only thing I can recommend would be the pretty good tenders and fries. But they certainly are not worth it for more than a two minute wait, and the wait can run over 45 min. read more

5 Stars, this place is great and vastly superior to kfc and popeyes . Excellent experience for myself and family along with the best customer service EVER. The entire staff is super friendly and helpful especially the manager Michael who helped me in navigating the menu ( this was our first time experience ) and we are now looking forward to our next visit to try more of the menu options and offerings. The place is incredibly clean, welcoming, great atmosphere and they even have DJs ( just in case you can't get in to the clubs because of having children or not being dressed up in a tuxedo ) , great food and portions . I hope that Michael gets the recognition he deserves ( and a nice big raise in salary with a bonus for Xmas ) as he has helped me ( a disabled military veteran ) and was very patient along with his entire staff , no matter how crowded the restaurant gets . I will be recommending this location to all friends, family, and business colleagues. Totally worth the hype this place is so efffing good. The sauce was fire I am so sad there isn't one of these in metro Detroit because I would be going A lot! As a huge chicken fingers fan, I've always complained that there is no Zaxby's in the Miami area. So when raising cane's open, I knew I had to try it. Their menu is very simple which makes it easier in deciding what you want to order. The chicken was delicious, fresh and hot. The canes sauce was amazing, I really didn't have enough for my whole meal and wish I had more. I'm not usually a fan of coleslaw, but their coleslaw had lots of favor and is definitely one of the better ones I've had. Staff were all friendly and lots of seating available.
