Raising Cane's has been generating a lot of buzz lately, and it's great that they've made it to Miami Beach. However, the food was just average. Despite the hype and long lines the restaurant is getting, the employees and management are doing an impressive job of keeping things running smoothly. The line moved quickly, and the staff kept their cool even when a guy threw up all over himself and the floor before continuing to eat his meal at a different table and leaving his shirt by the register. The decor was also nicely done, and there was plenty of seating available, which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, when it came to the food, I found the chicken to be only average at best, falling short of my expectations based on comparisons to other popular fast food chains such as Popeyes and KFC. The fries were decent, but not as crispy as I had hoped for. While the sauce was enjoyable, it wasn't enough to make me want to come back just for that. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try Raising Cane's for myself, but ultimately, it was a "meh" experience. read more

I was originally going to keep this four stars and chalk it up to an off day. However, the cleanliness or lack thereof in the bathroom forces me to write this down to three stars. I do look forward to getting it right and bringing back the quality I am used to from cheesecake factory.
