It was sooo good! The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy on the inside, and the breaded, fried coating was perfectly crispy and golden--literally the perfect crunch in every bite. And the sauce... wow, that's what really takes it to the next level. It's so flavorful and addictive, you just want to dip everything in it! Really disappointed with the customer service here. Ordered a meal through the drive thru and then parked to make sure I received my order. I had asked for two hot sauces and two extra sauces that I paid for. I realized that I didn't receive my two extra sauces that they charged me for. I went inside and said they forgot them. I was told ,"go get your receipt to prove you ordered and paid for extra!" I complied. I went back inside and showed the workers my receipt, when, at that point they told me I needed to go take footage of my car and my bag to prove I didn't receive the extra sauce. At this point my food is cold and I felt super disrespected. I didn't receive what I paid for and I shouldn't have had to provide any proof, making me feel like I was untruthful. I can't believe this is how they treat customers. My food was cold and it was all a waste of money and time. Just finished a huge event at the Round 1 nearby at 11PM and 20 people wanted to get some grub. Realized Cane's was open so we pulled up as a huge group. With all the people we figured it might be possible to get a tailgate, but the cashier recommended the party pack. It was a super last minute rush in the middle of the night, but the late night crew (may 16th) came in clutch and accommodated all of us! Also really good at communicating with us when orders needed to be adjusted to account for stock. I have a huge appreciation for what they pulled off for us that night! It's all in sauce.... But also the customer service. Had a great experience at the local canes today. A long time ago I went to a canes and hated the tasteless chicken fingers... fast forward a few years later and I try them again with the sauce and the entire experience was fantastic. The gentleman who welcomed me at the register rang up my order of 3 chicken tenders, however he didn't mention that the sauce was a la carte for non combos...because he saw the shock on my face he game me canes sauce for free. The sauce on the tenders was delicious and he even gave me a sample of their lemonade.... Apparently workers arrive at the restaurant at 6am to make the sweet tea, lemonade and sauce fresh every day. It's a nice touch and one that I greatly appreciated. Aside from the quality chicken, the ambiance of the place was nice with exported metal and an Elvis painting... they also have a massive covered patio. I feel like fast food restaurants tend to have loads of low reviews because the majority of people who take the time to write a review only do so when they have a bad experience. In lieu of that, I would like to take a moment to share my great experience at Canes today! The cashier was wonderful, she was very sweet and pleasant and I appreciated her hospitality! The service was quick and the restaurant is clean. I got the sandwich and it was great. They never skimp on the chicken in the sandwich, always nice thick chicken tenders (unlike ~another~ popular fast food chicken restaurant where the chicken seems to be getting thinner and thinner if you catch my drift lol). Always delicious and always well run, but our experience this week was beyond the service anywhere! Donovan welcomed me and took the order. My husband was outside at the tables without dog so as I gathered our drinks waited for our food, Donovan stepped around the corner and took the three drinks I as holding. He delivered them to my husband outside! Thus allowed me to easily carry our baskets of good outside to the table. I came in today shortly after they had just opened, first of all the place is super nice, clean and has lots of space inside & outside. Food came out quick, and was delicious as always. I've been to canes many times before, but it was my first time at this particular location, and what stood out to me the most was the service. Griselda made the whole experience just lovely, she was super kind, brought us napkins, stickers for my baby, and brought our our food. We went to this, raising Cane's. There were eight people working at the front that I could see nobody was in the drive-through and there were no customers inside the dining room. Nobody said hello, and it took them about a minute to even acknowledge that we are standing at the counter, looking waiting to order then when I acknowledged hey nobody even said hello instead of saying I'm sorry they said nobody was assigned at the front. The customers pays for each paycheck and when you don't acknowledge them and you make excuses to why they weren't served when not one single guest was in the restaurant. It's unacceptable. More concerning, however, was the behavior of the staff member at the window. She was noticeably rude and closed the window abruptly--before returning my card. I didn't realize it was missing until later that day. As a location situated right next to a hospital, kindness and professionalism are especially important. So far, ever Cane's I have been to, has been fairly consistent! There's a little bit of a wait for the food, but the chicken tenders are always hot and fresh. The coleslaw is OK, but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, the french fries always seem to be hot, but barely cooked... even when we order them extra crispy, rarely are they. They all seem to have a clean & inviting atmosphere and staff always seems to be friendly & happy to see customers. This store was more of the same. However it seemed like the chicken tenders were smaller than they have been in the other stores. So this is only our second time at a Raising Canes. It's like a In-n-out but for chicken. This is a new location and it has a nice modern feel inside and out. The tenders are perfectly fired and the chicken moist and flavorful. The batter also has a nice crunch and just the right amount of salt. The Texas toast was this perfect combo of crispy and doughy and the right amount of butter and garlic. The Cane sauce was a perfect match for the chicken adding a bit sweetness and acid that really brightened up the chicken (and the toast, and the fries, and anything else you want to slather it on!). I frequent the Aliso location more regularly bcuz it is closer but I will specifically go to this Crown Valley location because of how good the fries are. I had heard the name of the place, but I guess I should have looked into it more. But... it is open late and they are close to Mission Hospital, so it gave be a place to sit away from the ER. As for the food, it is fine. If you are a 6 years old. Fried chicken tenders, on a plate or on a bun. I guess if you find the one thing you do well, just keep on doing it. Except they really are not that well done. I mean, they are fine, but for a deep fried food, it was still dry (for me, I have issues). The cravable sauce was... OK. I am not going to start craving it. The fries were good, but could have been crispier. The folks working there were nice, the place is nicely laid out, I like the music... Sadly this cane's customer service has gone down hill. Their quality of food has always been number one for the cane's in the area and their service was always number one. They forgot to give me my card on my most recent visit, never had this happened anywhere, but could understand this being happening from time to time when leaving the drive through. What blows my mind is I pulled up and sat in the drive through for a minute getting situated, since they were slow and now on was behind me, and no one came out the side door to hand me my card. In addition to that when I called about the card there was no real apology given about the inconvenience and when I picked up the card (again they weren't very busy) and the manager did really seem like he wanted to talk to me and after I kindly stated my frustration about going over an hour out of my way he half heartedly apologized and said "it happens." Feedback for upper management is encourage your leaders to be more empathetic and offer a free drink or meal in a situation like this. (Not looking for a free meal but a little empathy and a small gesture goes a long way. Even if offered a drink I probably would have bought some food for my lunch break.
