Ate here today by myself on a rainy Sunday. I had brought and ate the medium thali. It had tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also pleasant and it took sometime to make it fresh and ready that I don't mind waiting for awhile to be served. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time.

This little shop fills up quickly and has limited seating. While I didn't get a chance to try their street snacks, the jalebi and masala chai were delightful. They also offer a variety of tempting sweets to choose from.

I came here thinking it was the same chaat and sweets shop that had occupied the same space years ago but I soon realized it was a different one. Or it changed ownership and changed names.. I ordered a samosa chaat which was very good.

I used to love this place. The food was very well prepared (though not seemingly clean). The place is a dump and rather dirty but the food WAS good. However, I got sick once from the mango lassi and had watery diarrhea for 2 days. I thought it was the exception and not the rule so I continued to order from here. However.... I ordered rajma and rice (kidney beans with rice) and got sick again. I am just going to say it. This place is a DUMP. It's is dirty, unsanitary, and not cleaned properly. I am not even sure if the unaware staffs wear gloves. It is definitely not a coincidence that I got sick again (nauseous with diarrhea). I smelled the food and it had a chemically smell to it. I grew up in a Punjabi household. I know exactly how rajma and rice are supposed to smell. This place needs to be shut down and cleaned. If anything, i am definitely sending a message to the DoH. They need to review this place before someone winds up with hepatitis or worse. I hope the department of health sees this and contacts me. Culinary establishments running amok like this are in acceptable, especially considering how expensive food has gotten.

Relatively inexpensive and the whole menu is vegetarian friendly. So many more things to try!

I have been to this spot multiple times in the last decade. It's a hole in the way spot that's counter serve authentic Punjabi food They have Punjabi Kadi pakora and sang that has a very home cooked taste. I tried the mooli paratha and paneer paratha. The dough was cooked perfectly and crunchy on the outside. But the paratha was low on filling. If they can address that it would be an amazing spot

    Chana masala

DO NOT eat here!! Again DO NOT eat here. Gone way down hill. Extremely dirty and unsanitary, Samosas terrible, Channa is just spicy and not tasty. Puri is undercooked. Overcrowded. One of the worst places in Jackson heights. They don't care to clean. Please only eat parathas here and take them to go. Don't eat the yogurt or anything else and you will not fall sick.

The chai was good. I got the fushka and it was ok. It was cold which is how is served but this was really cold making it unenjoyable and not comforting. Usually when I get fushka from other places at least the potatoes are warm. I saw them assembling it fresh so that's a plus. I don't like the red sauce or tamarind sauce they use. It's an artificial red and tastes sweet, not tangy like real tamarind sauce. The color and the taste of the sauce made the dish unappetizing and unappealing visually. I would come back here again, they're other food looked really good and the place was buzzing. Mera's Tip: chai

10$ lunch special include a water. Delish.

Moving to Queens, Jackson heights was a point of interest, particularly the samosa! So this cheap place got my attention. I had the samosa chaat (a samosa smothered in stuff, and this vegetarian lunch special. Everything is vegetarian. Service is friendly and it's a hole in the wall for sure, which I love!

Only got a mango lasi here but the food here smells amazing. I would definitely come back to try their lunch and dinner hot food. Neighborhood spot and ppl just chilling and gobbling up good food.

In short, do not take the flan cheesecake to go as it does not travel well at all, even if it's for a short distance. Simply enjoy it inside the cafe instead :).

In actuality they are two of my favorite desserts and they combine them really well here - the cheesecake is on the creamier side and goes well with the lighter flan texture. My friend got the berry napoleon and he said he had better, but I tried it and thought it was good as any I ever tried. They do a great cafe con leche here and most of their drinks seem to be good quality. There is seating, but they ask you to limit your time during busy hours so other patrons can enjoy. Overall this a solid bakery that I would be happy if it was in my neighborhood - solid all around!

The sauce that was served was absolutely delicious with the signature tanginess and sweetness of Thai food. The hot pot that I ordered was also enjoyed to the fullest! The food here was super good but also I love liver so I was glad they had a hot pot option that included that! After a delicious meal, we finished off with the mango bingsu which also was a huge hit! The bingsu was super fluffy and light! This meal was definitely worth it and didn't leave me feeling super heavy. The service was also great even though they were always full house with some parties waiting and only one person serving. I will be back next time to try their Thai barbecue which I saw people having and I could stop looking at! On top of all this, the server or manager even gave me a free Melona ice cream which I paired with the bingsoo after he saw that I was pregnant which I thought was super sweet. I don't live too far from here so I also want to add that even though I have not added a review, I always go to this restaurant to grab a coconut Thai milk tea to go (I am not even a huge Thai tea fan)! The atmosphere is indeed cozy with quaint outdoor seating as well. Unfortunately, I gave their iced matcha latte two tries, on two separate days. Sadly, their version of an iced matcha latte is watery and lacks the matcha flavor, despite being green. It just tastes like milk. It takes a lot of flavored syrup to make this drink taste better, and syrupy drinks aren't good. The first time I had it, I was surprised to be chewing on ginger pieces that were floating in the bottom of my drink. Luckily, I like ginger and, more importantly, I'm not allergic. I passed it off as maybe their unique twist on a matcha latte. When I went back for a second try, I asked them to not put ginger in the drink, to which I was told ginger should have never been in the drink and the whisk they used was likely not fully cleaned from a drink that contains ginger. Uhh, gross! And not a good practice for a restaurant serving the public. I forgave the first mistake and ordered another iced matcha latte with lavender. I get back to my family's house, take a sip, and notice they omitted the lavender. Had to walk back to get it corrected. The young lady taking orders was very apologetic and swift in correcting it. However, her colleague wearing a bandana on her hair was not as kind and seemed to be irritated at my kind request it be fixed. Both of my experiences have been off putting and I simply will not be back! Thank goodness the neighborhood has alternatives like Over The Moon and Qahwah Valley. Espresso 77 would benefit from improved quality of their products, cleanliness, and customer service.
