After two desserts were already brought out, I had to ask the host to bring a candle as I didn't see my server. Eventually a plate with "Happy Birthday" written on it came out, and we were told the server was "working on it," but it felt like an afterthought. The server didn't come out herself or even acknowledge the birthday, which was a letdown for a special moment. Ambience: This place is just too loud to even have a normal conversation. It's not the music that's the issue -- it's the space. The restaurant feels very small and overcrowded, with tables packed too closely together. With that many people in such a tight space, the noise level becomes overwhelming. Because of that, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for date nights or any occasion where you actually want to talk and enjoy the moment. The high tea also requires a deposit of half of the total amount in advance. Overall it is definitely worth the experience, and the menu rotates regularly so it is something fun to come back and try again. The owners were also really kind and accommodating, which made the visit even better. My only suggestion would be to add more caffeine free tea options. I was told by one of the staff that all of the teas contain a small amount of caffeine, including the rose tea.
