Hmmmm, I am so disappointed with this store! First of all it's so dimly lit that at times I have a hard time seeing the products on the shelves! Last week I went to use the bathroom and I was appalled at the filthy surroundings! I am including a picture of the littered bathroom and feceson the wall next to the toilet!yikes!!!!! In certain places the shelves are dusty and if you're looking for reading glasses, many of them have fallen off the display on the bottom and behind it where you will find glasses that have been sitting there for a very long time enveloped in dust bunnies I went to get a latte while I was there and the young gal presented me with a bill of $4.05 so I gave her a five dollar bill and a quarter since I did not have a nickel and she couldn't figure out what to give me back! So she says "oh, I already entered in your five dollar bill" and I told her that I did not want .95 cents worth of coins back! She gives me $.75 back and I looked at her and I said "what"? And she said well, I subtracted .20 from ..95 and I said "what" again! I tried explaining to her that all she has to do is give me a dollar back and subtract a nickel from the quarter and she acted like I was cheating her so I had to take out my cell phone and show her on the Calculator! She still did not get it and as I walked off with my $1.20 I had the feeling that she was going to call security! Raleys needs to teach their employees how to give change back without the use of the register as it is so important! By the way, I ordered a small vanilla frappechino with an extra shot of espresso and she filled the pitcher up with so much ice that when she poured my drink most of the frappechino was still in the pitcher and I walked away with a watered down drink without hardly any coffee in it at all! What a waste! So disappointed in you Raleys! read more

I have been a customer since the day it opened in 2005 or 2006. I love this store. I don't go daily anymore because the neighborhood is not as safe and there are lots of folks shopping there. The staff has changed over the years. Many from Food for less or Foodco. Lol. I can tell. There was a male BLK cashier when it opened but now he's gone. Most of the folks who started there are gone. Oh I did see BLK female cashier and that was good most of them work in the bakery or deli. I love the meat and I love the sales. This is a good store. It is always clean and relaxing. . read more

Cleanliness and Service. That's what u get from Raley's. The prices might not be cheap but the service and immaculate store/food condition makes it up. Was looking for a certain herbal tea flavor last week. Ran around Stockton and no one could get it for me. Although Raleys didn't have....they special ordered it for me. I really appreciate our neighborhood Raley's market, especially during COVID times. I like to go early when there's not a lot of people, and the customer service is great. The prices are not the cheapest, but I will pay more for organic/non-gmo items and quality produce, which they have in abundance. My only advice is for the worker who often runs self check-out: please wear your mask correctly, not just over your mouth, but your nose too. Thank you to all the essential workers, who make it possible for this store to run. They have 2 staff outside shagging grocery carts and disinfecting them before the carts are are brought in. I'll admit that I don't do all my shopping at Raley's. In fact, I don't do most of my shopping at Raley's - I'm a tightwad at heart, and the prices tend to be higher on most things compared to other ('bag it yourself') grocery stores...you know the ones I'm talking about. Still, they're the only grocery store that regularly has Brussels sprouts on the stalk (yay!), their meat cutters are always friendly and helpful when I need custom cutting done, their postal counter is super convenient, and they're a union shop, to boot. What's not to love? Oh, there's one thing not to love - the parking lot, particularly the end by the gas station and the grease pit that is Panda Express. And it'll get worse when the city closes the frontage road on the east side of the shopping center. And for Michele C. or Lindsay T. or M. C. I have put on hold three DVDs at red box through my red box app paid for it and was going to pick it up inside Raley's store. I have 5-6 min before store was close!!!!! Their workers were at the door telling customers they were close and won't let anyone in! Wtf?! It's not 11 yet! I still have time to get my DVD cause I pay for that sh*t! I so then ask the workers to let me in cause I need to get my DVDs and they told me no and that their close! I was mad to the fken max! This is an expensive store which is fine, I live nearby and find it convenient however they are always out of stock of simple items and blame vendors.... it doesn't matter what manager you talk to, they are super nice but no results.... YOU tell the vendors what to bring dude. Give me a break. I can easily go two blocks up to Walmart. It's a headache but it will save me $100 and they are stocked up. read more

Best grocery store on the planet. Discovered it years back when I lived in the area. Moved about 90 miles away and haven't come across another one like it since. Customer service is fantastic. If every person employed by this specific Raley's abhors their job, you wouldn't know it. They are some of the most amiable staff you will come across in any grocery store. Very nice, right down to their security guard. The store itself is always well stocked and clean. The prices can bruise the pocketbook a little bit, but as a vegan in the Central Valley, it's to be expected. Raley's carries dairy-free and gluten-free products that other grocery stores simply do not, including Daiya, which Safeway has stopped carrying. read more

Huge selection, nice environment & atmosphere but you pay for it in the grocery prices! Things are definitely more expensive here. For example: a box of alpine meats hot dogs (40 count) are $24.99 here, at Rancho San Miguel they are $14.99, a whole $10 more for the same thing. I'm not complaining, but you should know that kinda stuff. I would give this place 5 stars but the meat selection is not really the best and usually find that I have to go other places to buy certain cuts depending what I'm making. read more

I love their pastries!!! You can get 3 personal sized desserts for $10!!! Their service is always excellent. There is a USPS located inside for convenience. If in need of some fresh flowers they generally have a good selection that is appropriately priced. Store always looks clean. Can't go wrong with that. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a plain round cake and light pink cupcakes for my sisters wedding. What we got was a rectangular cake and hot pink cupcakes. When I called the manager Joe he was very rude about the whole situation. What really threw me off was when I told him what kind of cake we got instead he stated "well sounds like you got an upgrade." At this time is was already 4:30 and my sisters wedding started at 5:00. I asked him if they at least had any round cakes because the platter we had could not fit a rectangular cake and he said nope. My mom informed me she seen a ton of round cakes there the previous day so I took a chance and went. When I got there I saw a ton of round cakes. I spoke to Joe and asked why would he say no and he stated "well those are not the ones like you ordered." By this time I was already livid. Instead of trying to help me with the mistake his store made he just had an attitude about the whole situation! Management should really start training the people behind the guest service desk. I've dropped off prepaid packages for the last year. Everytime somebody just takes it from me or tells me to leave it. Since I don't need any transaction number or receipt the process takes nearly 2 seconds. Some lady, Jay or something tells me I need to wait in line. A line with 12 people. 6 were people who needed to drop off their already paid postage. So I waited for 35 mins. To drop off a package. The entire transaction took 2 seconds. It's about multitasking. So 6 people in line didn't have to wait half an hour. Be smart Raleys. This prevents lines and frustrated customers. read more

The best Pharmacy staff - personable, kind, caring and efficient. The store runs well and has a great staff from top-to-bottom. I wish their prices were more competitive with Safeway, so I wouldn't always feel that nagging in my bank account when I write checks that I know could be much lower if only I had driven to Safeway. I love this store and the personnel, as well as the selection of just about everything (except jarred Matzoh Balls which they removed last year!!!!). Keep up the great work. read more

My mother had bought a custom cake for my sister saying "Happy 21st Birthday Bitch". No problems. They said it would be ready the next day. We came to the store on morada in stockton this morning and it wasn't even the way my mother wanted it for my sister and "bitch" was the problem. The bakery Manager "Joe" said he is not gonna right that and will stand by it. He continued to be really rude until the Store Manager "Kevin" had came to try to resolve the situation and even he didn't say hi how are you? What can I do to help. Nothing. So we got our money back. I'd advise anyone in the 209 or stockton area to not order any custom cakes made by these "pastry chefs". They suck. A few months ago I Reviewed Raley's as one oth the best stores I've ever been in because of the wonderful and exceptional customer service, how it always looks organized and clean, and because I've been coming here since I was 10 (I'm now 20) But these last few weeks have been a complete different experience than the normal Raley's I know and love, I went the other day to buy a panini and experience the worsts customer service I have ever experienced, the Lady that made my panini YELLED at me just because i was taking a little while to figure out what i wanted (all of the paninis are so good I couldn't decide) After that I didn't wanted to go back to Raley's for a while, I went back today though and heard the same lady yell at and elderly woman who was just trying to get some bread, then she turns around and stares my mother with the worse possible face, my mother felt horrible! This like this are completely unacceptable whether it's my mom or a complete stranger. I will not be coming back to Raley's for a while or until I know this matter is resolved read more

I just moved here and I've been missing my local Ralph's grocery store. I definitely hate doing all my grocery shopping at Walmart and S-Mart was a total letdown. Raleys is comparable to Vons Pavilions. 5 stars for a well kept store and very friendly service. Prices can be a little high but its worth it. No dirtbags or bargain bins in this place! Luckily, its the closest store to where I live as well. The deli meats are good and they have a great selection of hippy type foods as well. I absolutely love the cleanliness of the store. I really only come here to buy alcohol and deli food. There is usually always a sale and then there are coupons to add to the sale. That makes it cheaper than the average liquor store. Though, as a whole, this place is a little pricier but you don't have to deal with the super bargain grocery store environment. I came here not expecting much but this is the nicest Raleys I've been to. In addition to a huge selection of all the regular groceries, they have a whole natural foods (er, hippy foods) section with decent organic produce, and all the no-preservative, no-artificial flavor/color natural staple foods, breads, snack foods, drinks. I like that they have a bulk section of whole foods--grains, nuts, beans, granola, etc--which is cheaper and cuts down on wasteful packaging. They carry gluten free stuff, and organic dairy like Strauss and nancy's, which I like. There's a little aisle of herbal suppliments and natural (petroleum-free and carcinogen-free) bath and body care stuff as well (and if you don't know that your bath products and cosmetics are chock full of toxic crap-- google it and have your mind blown). As far as price goes, all the natural, non-industrial foods are more expensive as usual but--call me crazy-- I'd rather pay for health than for illness. Sooo if you're into natural health (read: a weird hippy like me) and you're stuck in Stockton for a time, this Raley's is surprisingly awesome! read more

They apparently don't care that their USPS hours listed online are wrong. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to drop a package off and when I get there I ask someone for help. I've been to a lot of Raley's, and while they are very consistent for the most part, this one is hands down my favorite one! The staff is always so nice and willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone here is friendly, the customer service is definitely top notch. The produce is always fresh. Make sure you shop their $5 deals! It's always a great bang for your buck. Just heard Raley's was closing their post office. Their are plenty of stores in the area to shop for groceries. Only Raley's has a post office. Raley's will no longer be a full service store. Due to the fact that Morada has a high rate of mail theft, many of us depend on the post office to mail our payments and packages. I always use the post office and buy groceries while I'm there. This will cut down my trips to Raley's. read more

I come here often, and have always had a good experience. Lines are of reasonable length, associates friendly, everything I need is in stock, deli is not bad, meats and seafood are fresh, a variety of alcohol and floral gifts. I'm especially pleased that every time I buy fruit here it always tastes good. Too many times have I bought huge packages of fruit at costco and the apples tasted mealy, pears tasted bland, or the watermelon was overly soft. It's more expensive but Raley's is doing something right when it comes to fruit because it always taste sweet, crisp and fresh practically every time. read more
