Coming from a very diverse food city, this was definitely the most disappointing taco experience I have ever had. There is no comparison to this and authentic mexican food. It's unfortunate because the locals here would probably love an affordable, family owned mexican restaurant. We had bought 20 tacos, and spent a little over $80. There is not one instance of getting tacos where we have spent more than $25 to feed our family of 5. For the price, you would literally expect the restaurant to have at least one Michelin star. The meat was dry, and flavorless, as were the tortillas. Even the limes were dried out. The 'salsa bar' was strange and off putting. We were going to get pickled carrots but saw they weren't even sitting in juice. Questioning how long those items at the bar were sitting there. Only good thing is the amount of meat they give you, that was cool. Man at the front was nice. I'd say find somewhere else to eat especially for the price. You'd be better off making tacos at home. I am shocked to see the number of five star reviews for this "restaurant." I've never been more appalled and disgusted by what this place considers "authentic Mexican." I ordered a chicken burrito and the gentleman at the counter asked if I wanted beans and rice. I said yes and asked for sour cream and guacamole as well. I paid $19.25 and thank goodness I didn't leave a tip. The burrito I received had only chicken and rice inside, with no seasonings or sauce. The chicken wasn't even cubed or shredded, it was just a chicken breast and rice rolled into a tortilla. No sour cream or guacamole. It turns out the "beans and rice" question was for sides so they could upcharge me for a meal, but the way he offered it was misleading. Their salsa section looked as if it hadn't been tended to for days and the salsa had a film on top I had to stir around to clear up. You're better off going to Burger King or going hungry. read more

Way overpriced for mediocar and inconsistent food definitely not worth what they charge

Caveat post...came here after a 2 day 30 mile backpacking trip in the trinity alps nearby. So I was starving and exhausted. I was exceptionally worried about getting food poisoning as the salsa bar had a few flies buzzing about and the salsa didn't look like it had been used or stirred in a while. The veggie burrito came out incredibly fast and that worried me more. I went into my car and devoured it. First bite surprised me. Hot! Hot is a good sign. There was fresh cilantro inside with shredded lettuce, flavorful beans, rice, and the cheese. Everything was spread out evenly so you're not getting random mouthfuls of sour cream or just cheese. The tortilla hAd been toasted. The salsa was delicious, all of them. Some spicier than others, all with great flavor. All in all I loved my burrito. The only thing that was odd is the lady taking my order didn't seem to understand me? But I also hadn't spoken to anyone in 2 days and my hearing was off from the elevation changes. Regardless if you want a veggie burrito that's good and delicious salsas for a cheap price this is the place. Oh and I didn't get sick, so yay! read more

Their food is pretty good. They used to be reasonably priced, but now the combo plate I like now costs just over $13. I don't consider the current price outrageous, but it's clearly not as good deal as before. The menus shown on Yelp are not correct as they show the old, cheaper prices. During the pandemic, I saw no staff wearing masks and they served customers who were also maskless. They didn't include eating utensils or even napkins in my to-go order.
