I'm a huge fan of Rally's. Best fries you will ever have from a fast food establishment! This particular location needs a lil TLC. Steam clean the outside. Scrub down the inside. Service was so so. They seemed to have a chip on their shoulder. Burger looked as if it was made by a 5 year old. Large fry was 3/4 full. Sprite tasted so odd that I tossed it. But it's a Rally's... This location is easy to pass as it is tucked behind a building and a bit away from the street. The food was okay. I've had better cooked and prepared food from other Rally's. I don't recommend the shake as it is runny and does not taste like other Rally's. The employees were nice. Though they were short staffed, they did work as fast as they could. Much appreciated. I don't recommend this location but if you're starving, it won't hurt. read more

I came there on 2/18/23 because I was in the area. I thought, let me try Rally's. First of all, I walk up to the window to place an order. I made eye contact with the staff, and no one opened the window to acknowledge me. So, I thought maybe I'm at the wrong window. I walked to the other window, and no one came to acknowledge me. An older lady walked up she no one has come to the window? I said no. So she had to knock on the window to ask them where the customer ordered? Come on. Common sense says I'm standing there for a reason. That's the first thing. That was the warning sign to leave then, but I had to order anyway. I ordered the bacon burger. I think it was a #3. The burger had so much mayonnaise, and the patties were looking kind of undercooked. I bald it up and trashed it. I was throughly dissatisfied and disappointed. People stop spending your money with businesses that don't care about the business, the customers, and the service it's just a job for them. Also, business owners beware of who you hire to manage and work there. They don't care about your business like you do. read more

Whenever I come over to Hawthorne, I ALWAYS stop at Checkers/Rally's. I'm originally from Florida and there were plenty of Checkers/Rally's so I grew up eating there. It'll always be one of my favorites, especially the Cinnamon apple pies and their special seasoned fries- Yum. read more

I've passed by this place a few times. I finally decided to check it out on Monday before 530p. I did a take-out order and got an All-American Bacon Cheeseburger and Fully Loaded Fries. The bacon was a little over-cooked, so they were just ok. The drive-thru had a few customers and a couple of customers came to the window. I waited for my food about 6-7 minutes. Since you order at an outside window to do a take-out, I couldn't tell how clean it is inside. I would still probably go back again and/or check out other locations. Your regular Rally's chain. Nothing bad and nothing outstanding. They have great shakes! And the frys are probably the best in the west. Wendy's frys are a close second. Burgers are good and meaty. Some outside seating also. Kinda of in a some what ghetto area...but should be fine to eat there. I've never had issues. But I mostly pick up and go back to work. Parking spaces are limited although there is a lot of "open space" to kind of wait at... due to the jiffy lube next to it. But most people just grab and leave. If your coming from the El Segundo street heading west, it's to your left and you can cut in the middle of that little divide for the left turn people. There's a cut for you. Look down! read more

Sometimes the wings are too dried out. They never have bleu cheese and it's listed on their menu board. Sometimes their ketchup packets have ketchup crust on the outside. BUT THE FRIES THO!!! The fries and drinks are always good portion. I don't recommend the hot dogs, they don't have relish. Don't recommend the rodeo burger too, try the regular ones. read more

I don't know why this place is listed as Checkers, when - I'm pretty sure - the place has a big fat Rally's sign. (Checkers is the mother company I believe). I usually go here all the time for my lunch, but not anymore. There's usually a young girl working the counter and a man when I go but this time it was some Hispanic lady with glasses that should not be part of customer service. I asked could I have honey garlic wings she said they couldn't mix the flavors but I told her it's an advertised flavor right there on the sign she said they didn't have it I get to the window and show her the sign and she said she told me they had the flavor so I told her that's the one I wanted. When I got my food I knew it was wrong it was honey bbq I go to the window she looks at it knows it's wrong then ask the cook she said it was honey garlic, I get this all the time it wasn't. She said I don't know what to tell you this is the only flavor we have. Got me refund as the managers refunding the money she has an attitude with the customer who's ordering telling him the same exact thing she told me the first time. The Boneless Wings are more like chicken nuggets. They ran a special 5 pieces for $3.00 so i got two orders of different flavors. NO sauce on the chicken pieces, just in the coating. The nuggets were VERY DRY and tasted old. It was not wing meat in my opinon. Dipping them in the sauce did not help. The bone-in wings are REAL and are quite good. These boneless ones appear to be just a naming trick. I will NEVER get these again. read more

I first tried this one night when all of the other places were closed down. I really didnt think they would be that good, but my only other choice this late was the crappy McDonalds (this girl used to be a McDonalds fan). I got a fish sandwich (it was ok) and bacon chophouse combo. Its a double bacon cheeseburger and it has little onion rings on it... OMG it was so good.. the soda was good and carbonated, correct proportion of ice. Fries were cold. I didnt even pull out of the drive through when I noticed, so they took them back without lip. That still ticks me off though.. Fries are SO cheap, there no reason to try to pawn them off. Even when people dont complain, doesnt mean they not mad about it. I used to work in a Wendy's in college and I NEVER served somebody food I wouldnt eat myself..While waiting and brooding I noticed the 2/$1 apple pie sign. I got two and sampled them on way home in car. Try these and you'll throw rocks at the McDonald apple pie!. They have more filing in them(and its a better quality). The crust is lighter and crispier. They have a sugar cinnamon mixture on the outside. If you've never seen this Rally's, its a little tiny walk up restaurant with a drive through lane on both side of building. The only tables are off to the side. I've been curious in the chicken wings, yet still havent tried them yet. My son absolutely LOVES their spicy chicken sandwich. This place is OK. The pictures on the menu make the burgers look gargantuan but it was more like a kiddie burger size. The sauce they put on it doesn't do anything to improve the taste. The loaded fries were good tho. I might try some of the other sandwiches but I won't go here for a burger, too many other more satisfying options. read more
