Three of us met my wife's parents at Ralphie's Sports Eatery for lunch when they opened at 11am on Saturday. Being the first customers, we had our pick of tables at the restaurant, however we asked to be moved to a different table, because the music coming out of the speakers above the first table was so deafening that the grandparents could not hear us. Instead, the hostess moved us to a table under a speaker which was just merely loud. While we liked how speedily the waitress brought our drinks -three waters, a diet, and a Pepsi- when we said we needed a few more minutes to review the menu before ordering food, we were surprised that she took over 10 minutes before she checked back with us again. The menu is big, but not that big! Eventually we were able to place our orders: wraps for my in-laws, southwestern chicken chunks with onion straws for my wife, buffalo mac 'n cheese for my child, and for me, the chipotle BBQ bacon cheddar burger -cooked "pink" please!- with onion rings. While our food arrived in a reasonable period of time, it looked ... off. The southwestern chunks and buffalo mac 'n cheese had clearly spent quite some time under the warmer, because the cheese at the edges of the plates were crispied and cooked dark brown and hard, whereas the cheese in the center was separating into the watery whey and the curds. Likewise, my burger not only was not the "pink" I had requested, but it had been cooked down to a dry, nearly flavourless disc. The chipotle BBQ sauce might have been tasty, but it had been so stingily applied to my sandwich, I could not tell (there was so little sauce on my burger, that not a single drip of it came off my sandwich to land on my plate while I was eating). On the plus side, the onion rings were hot and tasted good, and my mother-in-law said her club wrap was good. Service during our meal was ... uneven. After she took our orders, the waitress never checked back with us until the food arrived. As such, my Pepsi had long ago run dry, and my wife's diet was nearly empty. After that, she did better at bringing refills for our sodas, but never once asked the water drinkers if they wanted more. The waitress also was not very engaging with us (my father-in-law described her as having no personality), and she mostly just seemed to be going through the motions in a perfunctory fashion. PROS: the music was so loud that I could not get myself in trouble with my in-laws by telling any off-colour stories; also, the onion rings were good CONS: food that over cooked and over warmed, and wait staff who were just phoning it in Overall I am going to rate Ralphie's Sports Eatery as being Meh and say that we might or might not return. read more

We stopped for dinner tonight as it is our anniversary. The waitress was nice and promptly took our order and brought the beverages. We both had to select different entrees because they were out of the items we wanted. We waited well over 45 minutes for our food to come. My fries were room temperature. The waitress promptly brought more. Then I bit into my burger and it was room temperature also, but I didn't want to wait longer while they made another. As we were eating, I saw someone at the next table served the same item after waiting only about 15 minutes. read more

The food is amazing! What's even more amazing is the service ! Our waitress Hanna was attentive, friendly and such a great server! I drink a lot of tea and she kept my cup full!! This restaurant is a must stop when within 50 miles!!! Always the best service!!!! read more

Service was good. Atmosphere was fun and the food selection was nice. I had the breaded wings tossed with a ranch and it was very good. The wings were decent size and they were cooked perfectly. Others I was with enjoyed their food as well. Overall our experience was pretty good. read more

Horrible. In the last couple of years their food portion have gotten smaller. The cheesy pita bread use to be a 10 inch bread. Now it a 5-6 inch. Got a chicken sandwich. The chicken was overcooked. The straight cut fries was under cooked. The waitress was bad. Got our drinks and ordered. I only saw here 2 times total. Had to wave the manger down to get my bill. First time in. Decent service. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was just greasy. I figured getting this wouldn't be too hard to mess up but the quality for almost $15 isn't there. Potion sizes for the quesadilla were all over the place. Just disappointed honestly. From a chef point of view: fix your potions (you'll save money and since you're in Marion, you'll need to save all the money you can. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 52nd Anniversary some where different and stay in town because the weather was suppose to be bad. We chose to go to Ralph's and it did not disappoint us. I don't think the food is bad. The service is. 35 minutes to for a water. The food I ordered came out incorrect. I asked to order to go, the waitress must have forgot. Why else would someone walk away and stand in the doorway for 15 minutes untasked. I would recommend stopping for a beer, plenty of those were being served. read more

Friday 11/10/23 we visited store in Marion Ohio. Located at 1833 Marion-Mt Gilead Rd Marion, OH 43302. This store is unprofessional and needs help, new staff and maintenance. So, we decided to come to this place to eat as a group of a few. Here are some of the reasons we will not be returning to this restaurant ever again. - We waited 20-35 minutes after being seated to be waited on. - Staff attended to party group first 3 waitresses. - They spilled cake on us and did not offer to clean it up or clean the store floor. - We waited over an hour and half on our food because waitresses where outside smoking. - One of our meals was a cheeseburger meal and the burger came out bloody 3 times. - It was not offered to be taken off the bill. - They tried to charge us for mayo that we didn't order. - Manager (Rick Stutler) came over and was very rude to us. Been twice. once for togo & once at the bar. togo food was alright, food seems to be typical American food. food took a while to come out from the kitchen & the fries were cold when we got them. when we went to the bar, the bartender seemed cold & made us feel pretty unwelcome. Light on staff, recently post Covid unknowns, and the staff was AWESOME! Food was better than ever ( and I've visited many times over several years) . Stopped in here a few times... There's nothing great about this place, just your local sports bar. There's nothing great about the food, just bar food. I'm giving it an extra star for the patrons. I have enjoyed talking to and interacting with the other guests. And they are probably why I'll most likely be back. read more

Stopped in for the first time in a long time yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised. They have completely revamped their menu - tons of choices and reasonable prices. The place was fairly busy for lunchtime and seemed to be well kept and clean. The employees were all friendly and had a clean appearance, which isn't a given when dining out anymore. Had dinner here while traveling for work. Typical chain restaurants were in the area but I like to try more local style places. Tap/beer selection was not vast, but they did have some good ones for the smaller tap selection, a great local IPA along with some other more well known craft brews as well. The food menu is expansive, sure to find something you'll like. Everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked really good. I had the club wrap, it was a good portion size and the fresh cut fries were pretty good too. The staff was very friendly and on top of serving. Didn't have to wait long between drinks it for my food. Was not very crowded the night I was in. Overall a very welcoming atmosphere would certainly go back. read more

We go to Ralphie's more often than any other place in Marion. Our menu favorites are the chicken quesadilla and the meatball sub, both of which are consistently great! Everything else we've had has been good as well, as in, we'd order again. Our servers are consistently good and the craft beer selection, including the ciders, is always solid. So Ralphie's has good drinks and a decent assortment of beer on tap. Their wings and hand cut fires were great but overall the food was just OK from our group's review. Sports entertainment is fabulous as you are surrounded by TVs broadcasting most all sports you can think of. Service was friendly and timely as she seemed to know when we all needed another beer. We went on a "busy" Sunday NFL afternoon. We get in and seated quickly, and the server takes our drink order, which gets out to us rather quickly. We order food as soon as the drinks come out, a Sunday burger special and a chicken sandwich. We proceed to wait for over an hour, while the server comes and checks on us once. When the food finally comes out, it is appalling. The burger was burnt to a crisp, and appeared and tasted like it fell into the grease trap. The chicken sandwich came out with what appeared to be a bone on the plate. Long story short, basically a waste of two hours of our lives for 2 bites of deplorable "food". Absolutely will never go back if this is the level of service and quality of food they provide. Only redeeming thing is they did comp the chicken sandwich, but they should have comped everything. I ordered the 10 piece boneless budfalo wings and the waffle fries and I am not so sure I will be back here. Idk. I barely had any sauce on my wings. The sauce was at the bottom of the to go box. The waffle fries were a little soggy. The service was great. The staff was very friendly. Maybe I just picked the wrong things to order from here.. I will have to try something else some other time. Went for the first time on a Monday night, noticed it across the road from my motel I stayed at. I saw a sports bar, so was assuming the worst for prices, but I was more than happy with the $1.99 16 ounce drafts and $2.99 house margaritas. It was fairly quiet, mainly just went to watch MNF. I was also pleasantly surprised with their half price apps and portions after 9. The trio bean and queso dip was awesome. Now for the reason behind my rating. Went back Wednesday night around 7ish just to play pool and have a couple more of those cheap beers. It was rather busy seeing as how people were still eating dinner and whatnot. However, still had pretty quick service with plenty of waitresses. My disappointment started when I saw the price of a game of pool at $1.25. I could see $1, but what's with the extra quarter? Needless to say, we only played one game. The other thing was the condition of the pool sticks. Most of the tips were too flat and worn to be able to be chalked, and the chalk was old and useless anyway. Anyway, we finished our game and our beers and went up to cash out. When we got our total, we realized it was over a dollar more than it should have been. We got charged $2.59 for the same beers that were $1.99 on Monday. I'm not sure which time we got charged wrong, but I didn't want to make a stir with how busy they already were. My suggestion is to go on off-peak hours after 8PM. read more

Had their Burger with crinkle cut fries. Very good! Place was clean, staff friendly and helpful. The wife had beef nachos. She really likes them! Drinks very reasonable. Two drinks each, two dinners $36 plus tip total was $43. The only dig on the experience and probably petty is we had to ask for silverware. Other than that we loved it! read more

Don't do it. Unless you are only interested in drinking beer, do not come to this place. It is nauseating. I don't know how it's possible to mess up mild boneless wings, but they did, in royal fashion. Disgusting I ate two pieces of the wings, the server didn't even question why.
