Had a great experience buying a washer and dryer (used) and a refrigerator (new) at Ralph's Appliance Plus. The manager Nelson and the store associate (apologies I do not remember her name) were really nice and they did everything they said they would do (deliver, install and check the appliances) when they said they would do it. Which is a rare thing these days. I accidentally ordered a fridge that was too small for the space - they swapped it out that same day for a larger model and didn't even charge me an extra delivery fee! Prices were very fair compared to a bigger chain store - and those stores have nothing on Ralph's when it comes to service. I felt like they treated me like family. read more

Freezer died yesterday. Researched online; found one I wanted; Lowes etc. couldn't deliver until week of Nov 6. We crossed our fingers and went to Ralph's when they opened at 10am today. The one I wanted was there, and by 11:30 am it's here and installed (old one removed by them). This is our second purchase in 2 years. We have nothing but praise for them. read more

Beware, they tried to sell me a used/factory reconditioned dryer, that is fine if I had asked for that I was told and or asked if I would be interested in scratch and dent models and I said yes as long as they were new condition The dead give away was the lint in the trap and the duck tape on the vent Owner insisted that they tested it but why test a new unit???? BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! They LIE and sell FAKE PARTS! They claim that they sell factory replacement parts for appliances but they DO NOT! They also will try to pretend that they are saving you money by asking you to pay with cash instead of credit card so that you can have no recourse against them once you figure out that they have sold you FAKE after market parts. Do yourself a favor and SHOP ELSEWHERE!!! You will not get your money back! These people are not honest. Just as a side note.... If possible, I would give them minus five stars. We contracted to purchase four kitchen appliances in June 2020. The delivery staff were untrained and barely knew what they were doing, and they cut the vinyl floor of our foyer while bringing in the refrigerator. They admitted it, and the owner called my husband crazy because he was not replacing the floor. Don't they have to carry liability insurance? Are they not responsible for damages caused by their employees? We took him to small claims court and won, but he and his attorney filed an appeal in the last week before expiration. We offered a lower compromise payment for the floor, but they never responded and the time to file paperwork on our end had expired. Justice was not served. They are shifty and untruthful. Highly NOT recommending. Also, we did send all the appliances back and purchased elsewhere. read more

A repairman came to service our refrigerator on 2/27/2020 when no cold air circulated. At $371.00 for a service call, replacement of a new main control and labor our refrigerator ran for approximately 5 hours which was the time the repairman gave us for the refrigerator to get cold. He was right - after five hrs. it got cold and went off again. Contacted Ralph appliance and we were told that's was as far as the technician could go. However, the owner gave us another repair person to contact, who was unable to make the scheduled appointment for 3/9/2020 due to medical issue. We did receive a call stating his unavailability. Finally after leaving messages we were contacted by the owner wife who was to send a person out on 3/9/2020 and on 3/10/2020 the owner called. No offer was made to send someone out for repair. After seeing recent reviews on line it stated the owner/manager was rude, rude, rude -- CUSTOMERS believe it. A little wisdom to the owner - if you have employees unable to fix the problem it would be up to you to come out to service your clientele. On a scale of 5 stars I give you a MINUS. read more

Be warned! None of the employees in the store wear masks. If you are vulnerable or live with someone who is vulnerable use caution in this store. They also charge a credit card convenience fee which they are required to tell you about by law. They did not tell us about this fee which was a lot of money on a high end appliance. read more

I bought a new refrigerator, oven and overhead microwave from Ralph's over the phone for our rental property. It was a super seamless process! The woman who answered the phone addressed my multitude of questions and repeated phone calls and was very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful! The appliances were delivered and hooked up within a few days and the old appliances carted away! Promises made, promises kept! Unlike my experience with Lowe's and Home Depot! My daughter order 3 large appliances from them. They were great. They found some dented refrigerator and washer and dryer. Saved her lots of money and they deliver. They were so pleasant. I going down next week to do some looking around and price shopping. The WORST appliance repair place I have ever seen! Rude, Rude, RUDE company. I paid 100.70 for the initial repair, they called with an estimate and ordered a part. After installing a new control module in my washer the machine still didn't work and was told by Lionel the service tech that when the control module goes it usually needs an interface as well yet he never told me this in the beginning. I never signed for the repair yet I find out they charged my credit card I gave them for the initial service call for an additional 503.50 without my authorization with is FRAUD! I was told by Lionel when he came to install the interface that it was the wrong part (I reported the fraud to my credit card company by this point so they couldn't fraudulently charge me again! I was told I wouldn't be charged for the yet additional interface repair or any further repairs and if it couldn't be fixed after that they would swap out my washing machine with a used one they have at their office which is not acceptable since I don't want my $900 machine replaced with a junker they have laying around. I contacted the office to dispute the fraudulent charge and was told they would give me back the initial, 100.70 service call but nothing else! They never did credit my card for any amount and the manager was supposed to call to discuss but as typical for the sham business they never called. This "repair" has been ongoing for almost 7 weeks! No other way to say it but they are a shady business with no ethics and all around SUCK! I will be filling a lawsuit in small claims court and see how that goes! The money is important to me of course but the infuriating part is their lack of trying to fix their screw ups. I hired an appliance repair service for their expertise and what I got is some guy who just randomly replaces parts and hope it works. It should be mentioned that the service man was very nice however after the botched repair attempts he literally left my machine in pieces on the floor with screws loose on the floor and never put the unit back together and left a total mess. I had to hire someone to haul the hunk of junk in pieces out of here so I could go buy a new machine. Be warned, steer clear of this place! read more
