Online Experience Has Been Exceptionally Good, and I wanted to start with that since I've recently began shopping online for pick up dew to work schedule. To be clear, this review is not only of the web store (I have been shopping in a Ralph's physical store for years ); and the staff is always helpful and friendly, and I always find the products I need. That said, on this most-recent order, Ralph's had everything I needed, at fair prices, when the other companies I use were out of stock. Wow, where do I even begin with the five-star comedy show that is Harry at self-checkout? This guy must think he's the next big stand-up act, except the only thing he's killing is customer service. One second he's buddy-buddy with someone like they've known each other since kindergarten, the next he's throwing attitude like it's a buy-one-get-one-free special. I had the absolute pleasure of interrupting one of his live performances to ask for help with a checkout error, and what did I get in return? A smug, condescending smirk and enough rudeness to make a DMV clerk look friendly. And the new store layout? A masterclass in confusion. Two separate aisles for soda, because clearly that's efficient. It's like they spun a wheel labeled "inconvenience" and just ran with it. Whoever approved that disaster deserves a promotion--to customer. This place used to be decent. Now it's a joke--with Harry as the headliner. The only reason it gets two stars is because they occasionally have decent prices. read more

Seems like your lack luster brand has finally put the nail in the coffin. The demographic does not fit the look you're going for. DTLA or the valley sure, but Agoura come on. This has been my favorite grocery store for 24 years. Nice employees with good sales prices, as well as bakery and vegetables. Now since 2025 started their prices have EXPLODED. Now everything is way overpriced. I walked out yesterday and went over to Vons, which had much better prices. 1 example a McCormick spice bag 4.58 each Vons 2 for 5.00 and on and on. Keep it up Ralphs and you will lose more shoppers. read more

My first post for a grocery store just because the personnel at the self checkout is very helpful. Darn, I forgot to ask his name to post here to let everyone know who he was! A lot of the time, this position personnel would be very busy or ignore you because he would be busy watching shoplifters, as well. Today 10 Feb 2023 around 2000, the gentleman at the self checkout post took his time to help us scan our big items. Prior to that he saw me struggling with the retarded shopping cart & right away got a working one from outside & helped me switched all my items from old cart into a new cart. I don't know what it is about this deli. But I had to ask the guy behind the counter twice to help me. HE WAS ON HIS PHONE . And the counter, it was filled with unused containers and waded up used paper towels. The guy acted like I was asking for his first born when I asked for help. This is a new kid. So please train your staff. I am going to Vons or travel to Albertsons a few miles away. read more

My son and I go to Ralph's at 6:51pm on a Tuesday. We are looking at a birthday cupcake in the bakery case. The deli associate says the bakery is closed. WHAT?!? People pick up cakes in the dinner hour for birthday parties. And you're closed? Stupidest thing ever! Gelsons it is I guess. read more

Typical Ralph's location in Agoura, that is open late. The workers tend to stay to themselves and are not super attentive to shoppers, which I somewhat like. Food that was served seemed fresh from the morning and ambiance is typical of any other Ralph's or large grocer you visited, clean and well maintained. Prices were decent as well. read more

They had 3 employees standing around and just staring at me while I was doing self checkout. Why not have 3 checkout lines open? Instead you have the customers do the work and pay people to watch them. Cool. read more

What exactly is going on here at this formerly competent, relatively efficient store? Now perpetually understaffed, the employees have no sense of speed or urgency when the lines extend back into the aisles. Just lackadaisical. The grocery cart corral is nearly always depleted and I've had to head back into the parking lot to hunt down a cart on a couple of occasions. My family eats a lot of bananas (potassium!) and twice in the last month they've had none (Vons across the way had plenty). When I did get them here, the inept bagger put them at the bottom and they were destroyed and had to return them. Also, perhaps not their fault, but a sealed package of cheese was covered in mold the day after I bought it. This was my go-to store when in the area but I'm done, occasional hiccups I understand but it's been four or five straight unpleasant experiences. Management is clearly inept. read more

Samantha in the bakery did an excellent job and I had to give her a shout out. I came in yesterday and asked for a personalized cake, but she said it had to be 48 hours ahead of time. When I said I just need a sheet cake with names, she looked and said she only had one other cake to decorate for the next day, so because it was easy, she could do it. She did a great job with all of the names and my office was very impressed. Thank you Samantha. You made us both look good! :) read more

Total jerks. Should I start with the short elderly lady who frequently works the self-checkout lanes but if you dare ask her a question waves you away? Or how about the "manager" who started to berate me in front of customers when I tried to return an item that was defective? I was almost yelled at: no returns! After being forced to physically demonstrate in pantomime the unthreaded cap on a $9.00 glass bottle of salad dressing, she had to accept the return and look like a fool in front of my fellow Ralphs shoppers. An even new low was reached when I approached a cashier who has helped me dozens of times if I could ask him a quick question. He actually said no! What kind of loser considers this toughness or self-assertion? Embarrassing. What I used to think was the best thing about this this place was the goofy character who frequently supervises the self-checkout aisles -- but after hearing endless gossip about Porsches and house rentals, I came to dread bagging my groceries. This dude never offers to get you a bag, you have to "interrupt" his conversations... done with that too. So long, RALPHS. read more

Been shopping at Ralphs stores for the last 20 years. I have to say, this store has by far the best group of employees led by a great team of managers. You don't see it often, but every single manager, even the store manger are working the aisles and cashiers. Since Tina became the store manger amazing changes happened. I asked a young man who was working in produce to please direct me to a particular item. He told me the aisle and side. I could not find it and when I asked again he rudely said I "must have not been following instructions" as he took me to a different aisle! And did not acknowledge his mistake. Also said to me that I should have asked someone else. Please note that I did not point out his mistake to him. After 25 years at Ralphs, I am going to shop across the street at Vons. My husband and I have been shopping at Ralph's in Agoura Hills for years. However, as of late the staff are rude, unprofessional and need serious training in the art of customer service. The manager Christine Marshal and cashier Marina C. on duty today were beyond rude. Time to start shopping elsewhere. Very sad! Perhaps they have a hard time finding employees, but the ones they already have are awful, rude, and don't appear to know what they are doing. The short, elderly woman who is often at the self check out will sometimes work the register. If she is the only one there, then I will abandon my cart and leave the store. Not worth the stress of her scolding you for not doing something she feels is store policy to allow you to check out. She's overall very miserable and takes it out on the customers. I've taken my business to Vons across the street as they have adequate staff that is always friendly. It's worth paying slightly more money for better service. read more

Done with Ralph's. This is the second time in 3 weeks that the bagger left something out of my bags that I paid for. I don't know if they are now stealing from customers to increase their profits or to preoccupied gossiping with the cashier to do a proper job. Can't keep your eye on them while you are unloading groceries from your cart or paying but I'm sick of it. It's bad enough that the prices of everything is gone mad. My wife and I have been shopping at this Ralphs for more than 5 years and we love it. The selection is great and the staff are always very welcoming and accommodating. They always remember us and make us feel welcome. The few times we go to the Vons across the street we notice the difference immediately. The Vons employees always look miserable and it looks like they only take actions because they have to. Just go to Ralphs. It really is the best. read more

I recently shopped at Ralphs on Kannan, I usually go to Gelsons, and Costco. But for what ever reason I rent to Ralphs. It was so disorganized , understaffed, and only one checker with 12 people in line. Not what I expected. Ralphs is in a Beautiful area and should have proper staffing. I will not be returning. I, a 56yr gma a bit chubby and in my cleaning cloths, no make up an hair pulled back, (to give you a visual) passed this kid (late 20's) a few times he said you have beautiful hands. I do have my nails done nicely. I smiled and kept walking, passed him again in passing and said if feel like i am walking in circles, kept walking. In the ice cream isle i passed him again saying nothing but he said excuse me, I thought he was going to ask me where something was. I turned and he said, I am an influencer and do videos, can I use your hands, I looked at them and said na im good. He asked me to give him just 20 minutes, I said why would you want to film my hands, he proceeded to grab his privates at this point I said hell no turned and walked away, he proceeded towards me as i kept saying i would never do something like that and he asked if he could film me walking away. I said hell no as I kept walking away. He them ended up behind me at the checkout. I rushed to get through and ran to my car as i did not want him to approach me there and went a completely different way home. Now if this had happen to my daughters who run to the store often for me, I would have been there with the police. I did call the store manager and make a report. They said they would look at their cameras and sent pictures to all Ralph's in the area and he will be banned from them all. Be careful, don't let your daughters go to the stores by themselves. I can protect myself and if this man had touched me he would have been on the floor for sure. I live in an amazing community and hope we can keep scum like him out of here. I really enjoy this grocery store for so many reasons but there's one specific reason it stands out from all the rest. One word, Harry, an incredible employee that always welcomes me with a smile, addresses me by name, and is eager to help with anything I need. I've been working in the customer service industry for over 15 years and truly value someone that stands out and goes above and beyond like Harry. When I get off work exhausted and need to run by the store I don't even hesitate nor contemplate what store to go to. Every night without fail I'm greeted by Harry and the night crew with open arms. If Harry ever has a bad day you'd never know it. He is a true staple to Ralph's and I only hope they value him as much as myself and others that have the luxury of knowing him and calling him a friend. read more

This review is strictly about the Meat Department: I usually buy pre-packaged meat. Mostly because I am broke but also because I find the meat department intimidating for many reasons, one being I'm intimidated (don't judge my irrational fear). This past weekend I went and bought some shrimp that was on sale from the meat department. Jerry was SO nice and helpful! He even walked around the counter to hand me my nicely wrapped shrimpy goods! My few experiences with this store have been negative. Shame, as it's located in the same lot as my bank. The selection is abominable. Very few offerings in the bottled water section, especially for flavored sparkling water. The shelves are scantily stocked. The staff isn't exactly rude, but they're far from friendly. I went into Ralph's today to shop for deodorant, and because of my uncomfortable leg injury i took the electric cart. With proof of my medical injury, they still kicked me out due to my age. Always willing to help you, friendly, knowledgeable and cares about her job and I love seeing her at the self checkout throughout the years. Other day, I didn't know how to use the Coin Star Machine voucher towards my groceries, so I decided to ask the short elderly lady at the self check outstation for help. Well, her first reaction was to roll her eyes, then she went to see her manager. When she came back to process the voucher, she told me, "you were suppose to use the voucher that day! Don't you ever do that again!" Hmm, she made me feel like I am a 48 year old child, and she was the only adult. lol I got to say this was my first time using the voucher, and I didn't know what to do with it. Also, the other employee who helped me previously at the Coin Star machine told me that I can use the voucher at anytime like a cash. I thought maybe she was having a terrible day, and I really didn't care! Any ways, when I was about to leave the store, and that employee told me, "If you need to speak to someone, that is the person you need to talk to!", and she pointed to the lady with short blond hair. At that moment, I was thinking maybe she wants me to pick a fight with her supervisor. Well, I had a short eye contact with that manger or supervisor, but she looked away and walked away very quickly. All I want to say is, what's going on with this location? I just want to buy my needs and go home! I don't need no drama! I think 1 star is perfect for the quality of service for this location! LOL read more

The Customer Service is lousy. Never enough of sufficient help. Never enough stock of what you need. They never have green bananas like the other supermarkets have. Lines are insufficient. Never enough checkers. Never enough sufficient baggers. Ladan, who is pregnant, needs to go on maternity leave ASAP, a manager, is very rude to customers. None of the customers or her co-workers, like her very much. She is pushy and patronizing, not to mention condescending. Patti a clerk is stupid. Needs help bagging purchases for customers. Always needs help. The store is understocked with items. Very small compared to Calabasas Woodland Hills or Encino. Never enough kosher wine or kosher meat items especially with all the Jews there.
