Friendly staff. Excellent chicken wings. Delicious spumoni. Lovely atmosphere. I enjoyed a delicious lunch.

They barely look warm, meatball sub which was supposed to be served on a sub roll not open face.

Last night my wife and I stopped in for dinner -. I was craving a meatball sub and she likes their Veal Sorrento. My first complaint is with the chairs in the dining room, they are the single most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. I don't remember them being that way in previous visits. My second complaint is with my entrée., calling it lukewarm would be being generous, how difficult is it to serve a hot entrée? I don't know what went wrong why mine was cold when my wife's was just fine. I didn't send my meal back because I was hungry and I didn't want to my wife to have to sit there and watch me eat. I don't know what the bill was as it was her turn to pay, but I'll tell you this neither one of us will be back. In the future if I want Italian food, I will go to Track 32 in Feura Bush, their food is delicious and they have mastered the art of serving it hot. Oh I forgot to mention the fact that the meatball sub I ordered was just that a sub which should have been served on submarine roll, not open face. Fire the cook and replace the waitresses with people who actually know how to write things down properly.,

Excellent place for some good food and drinks. The customer service was amazing. Even on snow days this place is packed. It's a nice quant spot. The only downside was the parking, very hard to find parking especially in the winter. But once inside great atmosphere. Some of the best fries I've ever tasted.

Simply sensational food, service, and experience. Voted capital regions best chicken wings and they were by far the best I've had. HUGE portions and incredible food. Can't go wrong with anything on this menu. The BEST 518 restaurant in Albany I've tried. Perfect atmosphere to bring some friends/family. Good amount of parking and I recommend reservations the closer you get to the weekend. They offer take out as well but you should definitely eat in if you can.

An oldie but greatie! For some unknown reason, we had let Ralph's fall off of our radar. We decided to change that and make a visit. Goodness! We are so happy we did. Ralph's is not your average tavern with standard fare and middling drinks. The place is large, the service is outstanding, the food is phenomenal (and generous of portion) and the cocktails are fantastic. We went back with friends for a celebratory dinner that started with martinis. Well, I was blown away. That martini was as good, if not better than would be found at a fancy cocktail bar. It was perfectly crafted and icy cold. Wow! For dinner, hubby had veal and peppers with pasta. I had spaghetti with garlic and olive oil. Absolutely perfect. And, the portions allow you to be well satisfied and still have leftovers for the next day. The kicker? The prices are very reasonable. This is a place with great food and drink and still is casual and family friendly.

Mozzarella sticks with raspberry jam dipping sauce! Delicious!!!

This is my 4765 time eating here. But this was my first time having lunch. I love the food. You have to try the mozzarella sticks with the raspberry dipping sauce. It is the best!!! My French dip sandwich was very good. The waitress was great and provided very good service. The portion sizes are gigantic. The only issue I had is I came alone and didn't have anyone to share with. Lol

Ralph's is still going strong after all these years! The service today was exceptional. Aleah took care of us! She was courteous, polite and helpful. She knew just when to check on us without being intrusive. When she offered to wrap our leftovers up I was flabbergasted. It's almost always the guest who wraps up the food these days. The young host who seated us was very helpful and friendly as well. As for the food it was delicious! The homemade Mozzarella Sticks with Melba Sauce are so good! The texture is perfect and they arrived at the table warm. My mom loved her Veal and Peppers and I enjoyed the stuffed pepper soup which was just spicy enough with a good pepper flavor. The ambiance is relaxed family style tavern. Really enjoy coming to this Colonie staple.

Never tried this place before. The food was good even though I did not get what I ordered. I'd give it another chance though.

I was able to book a reservation online for the same day. Of note, when you have the option of Main Floor or First Floor & Bar, just realize the Main Floor is up a flight of stairs. I'm not sure if there is a separate entrance but my wife was on crutches and she managed to get up the first three into the restaurant from outside but I don't think dining on the main floor would have been an option for us. Our server, Mike, was awesome and full of energy and enthusiasm. He offered suggestions and answered questions about details of the dishes. We were pleasantly surprised with how many menu items were marked v - vegan and v* - can be prepared vegan. This is great for us because it's another place in Albany that we will be able to go out to dinner with friends and everyone will be able.to find something to enjoy. The fried Artichokes are a must if you're looking for a starter. We were eyeing up the Fennel salad or vegan Caesar salad but opted to move on to main entrees. On this night they were out of the Gnocchi Cacio-Pepe which personally, I am not a gnocchi fan to start and Mike told us they were substituting a buccatini pasta instead... this had my attention! I went for his suggestion and chose the Arrabbiata instead which was delicious. My wife enjoyed her Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Risotto. We skipped dessert for this evening but there were vegan Gelato and cookie options for dessert as well. From start to finish it was such an enjoyable experience in this cozy corner restaurant which offers outdoor dining in the summer in the heart of Albany. We will totally be back with friends for another delicious meal at Rosanna's, the hidden gem in downtown Albany!

The burger/fries and chicken dish were average. The tortellini and garlic bread were below average. Tortellini tasted like it was just frozen and undercooked and then served warm, not hot. The garlic bread...how do you mess up garlic bread. It was $7 and it was literally two pieces that were the size of my pointer finger, and one of the pieces was burnt. I would have been embarrassed to serve it as complimentary, let alone charge for it. The three meals plus the two mini pieces of garlic bread came to $110 including tip. It was overpriced for the quality of the food. I would say at the most this should have been an $80 meal including tip. I would have given a 3 star review if that had been the price. I live in a pricey area and I'm not picky. I believe this is the only time I've given a restaurant anything below 4 stars. The place was clean and I like that they bring a glass bottle of water to the table.

The reviews were decent here and I'm glad we tried it out. We made a reservation on Saturday, the first night we were in town. The restaurant was lovely with caricatures of some famous people on the walls. It was very spacious and comfortable. We were sat at a booth and had a very good waitress. We first ordered the calamari. It was delicious!! For me, it was the first time I had this dish prepared "properly" because the calamari was tender and lightly breaded. So good. My friend said it should never be rubbery or chewy (the way I've mostly had it). For my dinner, I ordered the linguine with clam sauce. I asked her which was the better option, and she said most people order it with the white sauce, so I did. And I'm glad I did, although I know I would've probably liked the red sauce too. It was very good. The clams were perfect and the pasta had chopped clams too. It was so good. One of my Italian favorites and it was perfect. My friend raved about his Veal Marsala. I also had a glass of house Pino Grigio which was lovely. The next day we came back and had dinner again here on Sunday, after the conference. All he wanted was the calamari for his dinner, and he shared it with me. I had a taste for some traditional pasta so I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I loved it and shared some of it with him because those meatballs were yuge!! And so very tasty. His Italian self said they were made very well. Yum!! With our meals I forgot to mention that we were also served warm Italian bread with butter. Perfect accompaniment. After dinner I wanted something sweet but not too heavy and I enjoyed the berries. It was perfect after my filling pasta dinner. This restaurant is very good, food is delicious and the waitstaff is welcoming and attentive. We even walked around and toured all the interesting artwork in the restaurant before we left the last night. I wish to be able to come back here again soon! Thank you for this charming dining experience.

Reservations aren't…read morerequired but I can certainly see why they are recommended, and they were more than kind to us in allowing us to shift ours when our babysitter was delayed. We were seated in the back of the main room which was cold (the A/C was cranking due to the heatwave outside), loud (from people, not music). The side room was lit more invitingly and I think I would want to be there. I heard Frank Sinatra on the radio when we walked in, but within 30 minutes the place was packed and it turned into a raucous environment. We started off with garden salads with their homemade tomato basil dressing. It sounded fantastic but I quickly discovered it was loaded... absolutely loaded... with red onions. My wife bravely ate hers and the pile of onions kept growing on the side of her plate. I couldn't eat mine because of them so they took it away. They offered to remake it sans onions but I decided to hold out for my entree. My wife thought it was overdressed, but for a chopped salad such as it was I think it was fine. My veal Marsala was excellent. Every restaurant does theirs differently and here it wasn't too sweet or too garlicky. The bread on the table was crustier than an old pirate which made it difficult to eat with the table oil dip provided. However, it was perfect for sopping up the veal's sauce. My wife had Chicken Sorrento and the portion was absolutely humungous with a slick cheese shield on the top. She felt bad that my portion of veal was much smaller in comparison, but I had the last laugh as I thought her dish was just average. It all came down to the red sauce: every place tastes different and here it tasted a bit more like stewed tomatoes. (FYI: no place makes it as good as my grandmother). I am glad I ordered a non-red sauce dish, though my side of penne with only light sauce (per my request) was decent. Their dessert menu was nice but uninspiring. That's okay, as we were mostly full. Prices were fair for a white table cloth Italian restaurant, though not inexpensive. That being said, I much prefer the place in Loudonville which has more interesting entrees and comparable prices.
