I visited this Ralphs on my lunch break two weeks ago. I was very hungry, and I wanted a couple items from their service deli department. After politely asking for a 2-piece lunch meal deal, the lady behind the counter rudely said they were out of fresh fried chicken (at 12:20 pm??), as well as hot wings (they were out), AND there were scant potato logs in the bin. Basically, this service deli wasn't prepared for an average lunch rush. The lady behind the counter said there would be fresh chicken in 20-25 minutes. Huh? Who can wait that long on a limited lunch break? The lady didn't even try to substitute another meat product in lieu for the lack of things I asked for. Very bad personality. I wrote a heartfelt letter to the manager of this store last week, and apparently he didn't give a damn about how lacking his store was with fresh product for a typical lunch rush. He didn't call, nor write me back to apologize or to make up on how horrible the service was. I will not be returning to this store, and I will definitely spread the word to my fellow co-workers at the corporation I work for. Very sad service. Pitiful. read more

Reviewing a grocery store is a complex task that involves aisles elbow room and overall " vibe " of produce section. Ralph's delivers consistent room temperature and eclectic cereals selection. Not to mention fresh horizon milk. .. To round off ones gourmet kitchen you may have to visit the fancy grocer across the street. read more

I walked in, on the phone with an important work matter. I get in line, check out, forgot my Ralph's number because Albertsons/Vons is usually my go to, it's next to my place in Temecula (now I'm reminded why). But she's already so annoyed with me... Never offers me a bag/ as I'm still in the phone. I get it. The hospitality business is complicated, it's about reading your customers. I'm busy. I'm sorry your day sucks. You checked me out. I asked for a bag and you give me the most disgusting look... that's not hospitality... and I'm positive you're not the person Ralph's has acting on the behalf of their mission statement. If I was able to do no stars i wouldn't have given it a star. First of all a good majority of the employees look unhappy and I was able to hear things they talked amongst themselves about there manager. I feel sorry for them that they have to work in a shitty environment. There guy Randall in charge of the liquor was probably one of the best things that has happened to this store. I was at the store while Ron was managing and he is such a nasty and rude man. He yelled at a vendor and an older women at the register. I'm glad the women stood up for herself. I dread every time I end up here. Total Bedlam. Parking is abysmal. Nothing can just be quick. The store is always packed and they keep one or two registers open at most. If you're buying wine you can't self checkout. It's like a freakin Tokyo subway with people bumping into you everywhere. My go to Ralph's since always. Prices are better than majority of other super markets. This Ralph's is small so they don't have as much variety as others as well as being more limited with their kosher items. Love their tuna from their deli as well as hot foods. They have some very underrated items like their creamy Mac and cheese, fried chicken, potato wedges, spicy fried wings, and much more. read more

This place allows dogs in which are not service dogs and that isn't legal. We have laws against it. I have reported it and they were found to be in violation during an inspection and still allow it. If you can enforce masks, you can enforce the no dog policy that not allow the state has, but also Ralph's itself. They claim they don't have the ability to enforce it because it's too much work. read more

Ralph's - Grocery Near Me - West Hollywood, California

Decent store to run in and run out. They always have the few items that I need. In the morning the store is empty, but they are always stocking shelves and there are boxes everywhere. I haven't shopped their produce so I can't comment on that. In the afternoon, the store is usually busy and the items are stocked, you have a better chance of really finding what you need. They have a decent selection of different foods, snacks, and drinks. Every now and then they will be out of the bottled water though. A decent store for a quick stop. read more

This place is just disgusting. Parking sucks workers just stare when you need help. I was in yesterday 9/28/2021 and this women came in without wearing her mask properly and decided we all need to hear her conversation. As she stands behind me yelling in my ear for a good five minutes, I tell her so you mind not yelling right in my ear. She yells you can move l, I'm 6 ft away from you.I stated I was here first and I'm getting my order taken. She repeats her self and points to where I can go. I turn around and I continued to order my food and she's still going off on me . I move away and she gets in my face and SPITS!! The workers didn't clean the glass or spray the food area down after she spit on me by all the open cold and hot food. I asked workers to call someone they don't. I was just spit on by a grown women and they still had the nerve to ask me what kind of meat for my sandwich. I'm on the phone with weho police and finally someone comes and instead of this crazy women stepping away she still tries to attack me. She then runs out the store, no one takes down her plates as I'm on the phone with the police still in shock I was just spat on. Jenny the cashier has a v poor attitude. This location rarely has what I'm looking for. Also, they always have huge pallets of stuff in the middle of the isles. Not that there's a distancing issue this makes it impossible as you can't go around people as the pallets go down the whole isle and if someone follows you down the isle they'll just try to pass you and there's no room for that. read more

I love the location of this Ralph's, super convenient in a neighborhood plagued by overpriced markets (Bristol Farms is the biggest culprit). Prices are great and the deli counter (though understaffed) has bomb pasta salads. The hot meals are greasy (french fries, all of the rotisserie chicken), but taste great and ingredients are top notch. Just watch out for grease. The parking lot is too small and the checkout clerks are too few. I'd appreciate a wider selection of fish. The bakery could stock more loaf varietals. read more

I would give negative stars but will give Two stars because of the friendly staff in the seafood section and one other gentleman I see in the store often he's usually stocking or in the alcohol section. Otherwise every time I come here I feel unwelcome and uncomfortable every time I use self checkout, which I always use but there is a Hispanic women with wavy/curly brown hair that works that section & ALWAYS watches me like a hawk as tho I'm going to steal. Went to self checkout and I had to scan my shoppers card from my phone-it only works when they use their mobile scanner so i called her attention politely and asked for help, she said "you can scan it directly" and gave me that staring look as if i was stupid. This Ralphs used to be every time-conscious grocery shopper's worst nightmare -- narrowly edging out a Whole Foods that actually burned your money literally AND symbolically -- especially after five in the afternoon, when offices start to close and ideas about what to cook for dinner open. It was a nightmare because it was small, usually had long lines, didn't have much of a selection -- had higher prices, too! -- and the employees worked... so... slowl... ly... It was especially irksome when all you wanted to buy was one ready-made Greek wrap (hello, high-but-avoidable prices!) because you couldn't be bothered to defrost the meat in your freezer before work (to prepare food instead of watching Food Network, you latterday Julia Child, you ;-)), and now you're stuck in the "express" lane behind some person with dozens and dozens of items in their cart, most of which will result in arguments, price checks, and a belated discovery of, "Oh my goodness, I've got coupons!" Nine times out of ten, they'll also realize they want a pack of Marlboros from the locked case. "What? No more Marlboros? How about Chesterfields? Only lights?" Meanwhile, you're waiting... waiting... snoring... STARVING. Does the cashier inform the customer that they have too many items to use the express lane? No! And not because the employee is "cool" and just doesn't want to hurt feelings or start an argument. They don't inform the patron simply because they don't care that there are ten other people standing behind that inconsiderate customer, who actually do follow the posted signs. Well, all that is in the past at this Ralphs (and most Ralphs, for that matter), because they've got self-check-out now! So, instead of being stuck behind the customer from Hell as they are s...l...o...w...l...y... rung up by an uncaring cashier, you are now stuck behind that same customer as he or she tries to argue with a computer, and is baffled even by the supposedly "fool proof" method of ringing up groceries according to picture. Why use self-check-out, then, and not just stand in a "regular" line? Good luck finding one open! Of the eight checkout lines, one of them became self-check-out, and there are rarely more than two of the remaining seven open at any one time, even on a weekend. Where are all the employees? Lots of them seem to always be on a cigarette break in front of the store, near the parking lot (sufficient for a 7-11and dry cleaners, but not Ralphs, even one this small), and despite the many employees you see roaming around the store, there are carts left strewn all over the lot outside. Of course, as with any store, many of the employees at this location are quite amiable and hard working (particularly behind the deli and bakery case), but enough of the clock-punchers are sufficiently snooty, indifferent, and or lethargic so that they cast a negative light over the entire supermarket. Shop here on the down low if you're hungry and you need to get fed hard, fast, and anonymously, but know you're slumming. Hope that Trader Joe's never finds out! He deserves better. read more

Since when is it an inconvenience to help customers at the Deli section??? I will never shop at this Ralphs EVER again. Close to my house, but there is no parking (so you'll have to walk with all of your groceries), the people who work here obviously hate their jobs (you can tell by the sour look on all of their faces whenever you ask for help at the Deli counter), and the aisles are s tight you'll hardly be able to push a cart through without running over some of the rude customers in this joint. Because I had a terrible experience at the Ralphs on Hollywood / Western. I decided to find another Ralphs and ended up at this one. It was realy cute inside the store and had some unusual fruits, which I love to try. While at this location a woman from Africa (I believe, because of her accent) was having trouble with buying butter. She was wanting butter, but the lable said...... "I cant believe its NOT BUTTER. " The African woman, was telling a another woman, this is NOT BUTTER. The other woman was telling her... NO it is butter but its "I cant believe its NOT BUTTER." The african woman replied.... IT SAYS NOT BUTTER. So its not butter... and the arguement continued. Actually the african woman was correct its not BUTTER, just a form of some oils that is supposed to taste like butter. That is confusing to a new migrant to this country. Anyway, as I made my way down the ailes I noticed heavily perfumed women and men, everywhere. Dont know why but I guess they just got off work. I found a chocolate dip with no calories that I bought to try and they even sold little tiny Hagan D. ice cream containers. I found flavored ice cubes and love those. And frozen Cookie dough to bake cookies ! Was looking for that. A man was there with his children very loud like a TV family sitcom, talking loudly to each other, getting plenty of attention. I did find ORO wheat bread, my favorite and its double wrapped. Its a cute store for singles to shop, I would not really recomend it for big families because it seems geared toward small homes or apartments not large consumables. I come from a family that goes to Sam's every week and there is no way this store could handle my families purchases. Try this store, its cute, pleasant to looking and you can smell the flowers inside, its arranged nice and its perfect for smaller homes, apartment, or singles. Stopped by Ralph's to get some lunch for me and my workers. First off the parking here is real small compared to what you would expect from a supermarket. Luckily there were spaces available. I went straight to the hot food section and asked an employee who was just standing behind the counter texting on his phone where the rotisserie chicken was and he just pointed and told me to ask someone else. Heading towards the other employee I look around and notice the chickens and grab two lemon pepper ones. I then proceed to find some bread. Got 2 bags of sandwich bread and a 12 pack of waters. All that for $20 and some cents. I think that's cheap, it fed four ppl. The chicken was decent I've had better at the Ralph's in Malibu. If you ever get some get the lemon pepper kind! read more

This a smaller than normal Ralph's, but appears to be well stocked. The parking lot is small, but has easy access from either Doheny or Beverly Blvd. The store is cleaner than other Ralph stores I have visited. My chief complaint with this store is the unfriendly employees when you can find one. I do not know if it is because of a pending strike, but the employees have a real sour attitude. I have completely given up attempting to communicate with them. The aisles in this store appear to be narrower than other stores I have visited and when you have to share the aisles with vendors making deliveries can make shopping difficult. read more

I give this place three stars for convenience. They always have a bunch of checkers working and they also have three self-check-out stations. This, unfortunately, is as good as it gets. The produce is usually not fresh and the other products are B grade at best. I went there once looking for Organic Chicken and could find none. It is a smaller store so there's not many options open to them, but with Bristol Farms across the street you'd think they'd try a bit harder. The parking situation here is a nightmare... let me repeat NIGHTMARE! Navigating the parking lot is like sitting shot gun next to Jason Bourne as he flees the French Gendarmes in Paris in the Bourne Identity--Great film incidentally. Tried to go in because hours were posted open til 5 pm on Christmas Day so took a Uber after work to get some groceries only to find it closed at 430 wow don't post hours that aren't correct. I obviously wasn't the only one either because about 10 cars tried to pull in as well and were all angry because we all said the hours posted online said 5pm. read more

I live a block away from this Ralph's but I avoid it at all costs. Parking is ridiculous, staff is terrible, selection is poor, store is uncomfortably small...I could go on and on, but simply put I have yet to find a redeeming quality about this grocery store. Save your time and frustration and go to Pavillions on Santa Monica and Robertson, the parking lot is HUGE (there is even an additional second level lot), staff is extremely helpful, and the store is about 2 1/2 times the size of this Ralphs, with double the selection as well. Prices tend to be cheaper at Pavillions also. read more
