I was tired of trying to find parking downtown, so ended up here where there is a private parking lot. As we walked in, I glanced at the reviews and noted that they were mediocre. I shrugged it off and figured I'd give it a try anyway. The service was a bit off-like they were going through the motions and not super into it. We were not checked on or drinks refilled during the meal. We were there on a Friday at 3:00, and it wasn't crowded at all. Both my wife and I felt like our food was just ok. The fries were pretty good, but the chicken fingers and french dip were both less than tasty. In fact, we only ate about half. The server asked if we wanted boxes, which we declined. This is probably not a place I'd hurry back to. But that private parking lot is appealing.

We arrived after a long drive from out of state, about 9pm for a late dinner. We were seated quickly & narrowed down our preferences. I ordered the Black & Blue A5 Wagyu Burger with sweet potato fries. I am still dreaming about this burger two weeks later! So so yummy! The little fried onions made it next-level yummy! Bacon would have been a nice addition, but honestly, I didn't miss it! The beef was SO flavorful.

One of the worst Cesar salads I've ever had. And everything here was way over priced. Also, maybe we came at a weird downtime and maybe our waitress was overworked but even the service was meh. I will say they didn't charge us for our soda water which is huge in my book and the sweet potato fries were delicious. But I wouldn't recommend Ram based on prices alone.

Giving it a High Five stars ... relative to the outside seating and beer only. Staff was great, the outside seating is awesome and the Idaho Blonde beer is always a safe bet.

This is a "well done" sirloin, cold fries and colder vegetables.

The server was excellent but the food was a no. The manager had to comp the entire meal. We paid for drinks so we could leave a tip. The pineapple margarita was watered down. It was during happy hour and a red flag should have been less than 10 ppl in attendance and they were all over 55. The appetizer was undercooked and came with the meal, when we asked for it to be redone it looked like it was put back in the fryer. It can back to our table totally burnt. The steak was burnt on the outside and pink on the inside. No flavor. The fries and vegetables were ice cold also no flavor. Not even salted. The burger and fries were over cooked and somehow still cold. The kracken platter - shrimp was over done and rubbery, the cod was mushy. Again all sides were cold and the fries were freezer burnt. The manager seemed not surprised that he had to comp the meal which was sad and in our way out we noticed they were hiring. Not sure if the food quality was impacted by an uncaring line cook, an unqualified line cook or a little bit of both. Overall we just went to Panda Express. Yeah - from the Ram to Panda Express. For a meal. I'm sure there are better options but we were tired, a little disillusioned by the experience and just wanted to get back to the hotel.

We saw a young couple get frustrated with how packed it was and left, but what do you expect on a Friday night, this isn't a fast food place. We stuck around and placed our order. Got lucky because they only do Fish Fry's on Fridays! Ordered the prawns and fish, got two order of buffalo wings, Mac and cheese, chipotle wrap, and kids burger. Fish was amazing!! Tasted Fresh! Not frozen! I was really not sure what to expect and faced my fears and ordered it. I can say it was some of the best fried fish I've had no lie. I was super pleased with it! Next time I'll try just the fish and chips in hopes that it comes with one more piece. The prawns were skinny ones and I wasn't too fond of them but the fish the main dish was perfect! Wife and bro-in law got an order of wings each and they were both super happy with them, I snagged 3 and would say top 5 wings I've had. Sister got the chipotle wrap and she said it was really good! Wife also got the mac n cheese with bacon and her and the kids loved it. Kids burger was able to split between two kids and they tore it up along with the mac n cheese! We had a great experience! Just be patient with staff and cooks, they get bogged down and you have to expect that or be ready to order fast when you're there.

Plan to circle the block several times if you want to be close. Otherwise plan on parking and walking. When we walked in, 5:30-ish on a Thursday evening the bartender told us to sit wherever we wanted. There were two booths and a couple of other tables available. It took several minutes for anyone else to acknowledge us and bring us menus. When asked, the waitress didn't know what beers were on tap, but did have them all written down. That was helpful. Also seemed to have a good selection of "house" cocktails, which would be fun for happy hour or a game day. Vibe is definitely sports bar on a college campus, but the patrons were not college-aged. As others have commented, great overhead music. While we were there it was 70s classic rock. Now for the food - all great! Hubby gor the finger steaks, and while the breading looked very dark, he said they didn't taste burnt or overcooked. They came with BBQ sauce and an Asian-ish sweet-chili-horseradish sauce. Not cocktail sauce and very weird. I got The Grateful Shed burger with tots. It was delicious! Served on a brioche bun that could not stand up to the burger and how juicy it was. But that's what a fork is for. The candied bacon on it was so good. And the tots! Crispiest I've have in all of the treasure valley! It did take quite a while for the food to come out. I had a good view of the kitchen so I know it wasn't the wait staff. And its never good to see tables that ordered after us get their food before us. That's the only reason for a 4 star rating. If you aren't in a hurry, and maybe don't mind walking for parking, I'd definitely recommend The Shed!

The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. By coincidence when walking around town I spotted it and had to go try. I'm a sucker for biscuits and gravy and these definitely beat what you would find in a Denny's or IHOP by a landslide on the taste and aesthetic scale! It's super filling since there's so many carbs, but the taters (more like small potato wedges) are actually a clever add-in. They add a slight bit of texture to the mushiness of the gravy-soaked biscuits, and potatoes and gravy are already best friends in terms of food pairings. There's also garnish on top (some sort of greens and cheese) that gives it a nice look and extra flavor. Delicious! I didn't think much of the customer service initially aside from thinking they were super friendly. However, I sat down at one of the tables and took my time eating and people watching. So many people came by the store to talk to the chefs with such familiarity that it felt like this popup was its own restaurant and community. It hasn't reached a point of popularity where it's flooded with people, but the more I look back on the experience, the nicer I feel about it. Even after a lot of time had passed and the staff had already helped out so many people, when I left, they called out my name and it made me wish I could go back again. This is one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Not because it's spectacular or mindblowing, but because it was great people watching. The decor features beautiful artificial greenery that gives the space a light, vibrant, and welcoming feel. My server, Brayden, was fantastic--friendly, prompt, and attentive. I started with the Southern Hospitality mimosa (peach & pineapple with "Blue Ridge Bubbly"), which was incredible. For my meal, I chose the $10.99 Lunch Break Special, upgrading my side to the chicken poblano soup alongside the half honey pecan chicken salad sandwich. While I was looking at the bar, a gentleman named Scott asked how I was enjoying my food. I told him I hadn't tried it yet, but that the mimosa was rocking! The soup was delicious with great flavoring, and the biscuits paired perfectly with their tasty jam. The chicken salad also tasted great, but unfortunately, I bit into a sharp chicken bone that hurt my mouth. Because of this, I stopped eating the sandwich. When Brayden checked back in, I let him know I couldn't finish it due to the bone. He handled it perfectly, promptly took the sandwich away, and removed the charge from my bill. He also brought out some bread for my soup as requested. I finished my meal with a salted caramel craft iced latte, which was absolutely delicious. Minor food mishap aside, the outstanding customer service from both Brayden and Scott will definitely bring me back!

Today my friend wanted to celebrate her birthday here so of course I said yes! We decided to sit on the outdoor patio today. It wasn't the warmest day but it was beautiful out. The sun was peeking out once in a while. The table was nicely shaded by a huge umbrella. The sun was nice but to have it beating on you isn't the best so the umbrella was appreciated. It was the perfect table for our outing. Jerika (I hope I spelled her name right) greeted my friend and I with her beautiful smile. We got some drinks started so while they were being worked on, my friend and I breezed over the menu. I did somewhat enjoy my charboiled salmon at the Eagle Bardenay for my birthday a couple weeks ago. The chefs did undercook my first plate of salmon. The server was kind to take my plate back to have the chefs remake it. The second attempt was appreciated but it was unfortunately a fail. The salmon came out so dry. I get that I wanted it well done but not jerky. But, today's a new day and I was willing to give it another shot. So today, I ordered the salmon with veggies instead of the salad. My plate came out and it looked promising. I love beautiful char marks on my food. The char marks today were perfect. My veggies looked nicely cooked but I could tell that some of the squash was still undercooked by the color. I didn't mind, it's a sign of freshness. As much as I wanted to stare at the prettiness of my food, I was ready to dig in! My salmon was so good! It was perfectly cooked! No raw spots in the middle, it was flaky and moist. It was a fabulous piece of salmon. The sun dried tomato butter is a fantastic add on to the salmon. I honestly could have polished another piece of fish. The chef that cooked my salmon today needs a raise! My lunch was chef's kiss! My friend enjoyed her lunch and her birthday drink! The outdoor patio was so relaxing. My lunch was also enjoyed. Our server was kind and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday lunch for my deserving friend. I hope that it won't be another 5+ years till I come back.
