    The Absoluty Delicious

The location is in a very nice looking building and the decor is comfortable with a little hint of rustic. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. He recommended the Absolutely Delicious for the drink and it was just that. It's like a raspberry martini but better. It was very dangerous. My husband and I got the Brilliant French Dip. We did ours without horseradish sauce and added swiss cheese and he did fries while I did the onion rings. Everything was well made and very tasty. The only downside was the price but, honestly, everywhere is expensive now a days. Recommend and would like to check out their happy hour.

Great place to be on main st. Found this on yelp and it didn't disappoint. Superb service and the food was amazing. Drinks spot on. Highly recommend going to this gem. Set on patio bc that was great on a sept evening.

The staff was so nice and friendly, and all our food was incredible. The burrata appetizer was probably our favorite of all the food, but everything was very tasty and generous portions! We sat outside on the patio and it was nice and cool! A perfect spot to get great service, good food, and all at a very reasonable price.

This had to be one of my most disappointing visits. We were 5 minutes early to our reservation, but seated immediately. We waited at our table for 18 minutes, watching several other tables be seated with immediate service, before our server appeared...but that was only after I stopped another server and asked if anyone was available. We ordered everything at this time since we had more than enough time to review the menu. We ordered the finger steaks to open. I ordered the Tres Amigo Tacos, hubby ordered the Flat Iron Steak, daughter had the Chicken Fried Chicken and my friend visiting Idaho for the first time (and I had spent so much time raving about 830 Common to her) ordered the Flat Iron Steak Salad. Finger steaks were quite good as they were tender and lightly breaded. The cocktail sauce was great to me, but everyone at the table was not a fan. Dinner took longer than usual to come out, but we assumed it was due to pacing since we ordered an appetizer. Food arrived and looked amazing. My hubby loved his medium flat iron steak, fingerling potatoes as everything was tender and juicy. Daughter raved about the chicken fried chicken, which I tried, and it was perfectly cooked with crispy batter and fork-tender fried chicken. My friend thought her steak was deliciously cooked to order, but the salad roasted garlic dressing was not her favorite. Also the "salad" was more a steak plate with a side of lettuce. Luckily the server switched out to blue cheese dressing and she was happy. The biggest and most outrageous disappointment was my dinner - I ordered one of each taco, the fish, carnitas and chicken verde. The fish taco was a shining star; crispy and flaky with a lovely cream sauce and fresh vegetables. However, the carnitas adobo taco was so dry, even after adding lime and even borrowing my friend's uneaten garlic dressing, that I could barely swallow the food. I was trying to take smaller bites so I wouldn't have to chew so long before swallowing, but the flavor and dryness just was too much so I gave up. I started with the chicken verde next, taking a bite with eager anticipation, only to be met with a flavorless bite of chicken sawdust. I literally had to chew a solid 5 minutes before I could swallow. I tried again, dousing the taco with lime and more dressing, took a smaller bite and it was horrible. I couldn't make it even 1/2 way through. It was my birthday dinner and I was so disappointed. I was genuinely concerned for other patrons, as I figured the carnitas and chicken were not prepared to order, so anyone else would have the same experience. I walked over to the host station and politely asked if I could talk to a manager to let them know. I was met with rolling eyes and asked, "Why? What's up?". No professionalism, concern or care. I politely explained that I had some concerns about my meal and would appreciate the opportunity to talk to the manager. The host went to my server and let them know I needed to talk to someone and my server uncomfortably came over. I asked for a manager and was told no manager was on duty and only a shift lead was available (concerning). I went on to explain that I could not finish my meal as both the carnitas and chicken tacos were inedible. My server was very understanding and explained that several customers had the same experience, then offered to remove the meal from my bill. I don't believe in this practice as the meal was prepared and I ate 1/3rd of it...not to mention, that was not the reason for the complaint. I am hesitant to return as a place that used to be great, should also be consistent. It was disappointing to be so excited to only have 1/2 of our party satisfied 100% with their meals. Not to mention, the host's flippant demeanor was unjustified. I would have given one star based on my meal alone, but my daughter and hubby genuinely loved their meals. It was also pretty distracting to see heavy clumps of dust spread across the top of the back booth seats, which stretched from end to end...made me question the cleanliness. They really need to bring back their fried Mac and cheese balls!

I was pleasantly surprised by this spot. The tots are incredible, best thing on the menu. My friends also liked the fried pickles, they are large slices instead of little disks and are crunchy. The ETC sauce is great, the chicken sandwich is average. I couldn't believe how good to kale Caesar was, the chicken a great add. Skip the Brussel sprouts, they have a ton of balsamic vinegar it is overwhelming.

We were traveling back to Washington State and needed to find a place that might be able to accommodate my liquid diet restrictions due to upcoming surgery. And they did! They were freaking awesome and strained their fabulous tomato soup for me! It was so yummy and a had a pleasant kick too! Great atmosphere and staff! I even got some to go!! Would highly recommend. Oh and my husband's K ribs were delicious as well.

Driving through on the way home to Phoenix. Looked for a dog friendly restaurant and found Eight Thirty Common. The food was fantastic. My wife had the Proud to Be an American burger and I had the Grown Up Grilled Cheese. Fantastic!! Adison, our server, was awesome. Thanks for a great experience

Great space and vibe for a rainy, Sunday morning. Waitress was very nice and eclectic, in a good way. Chose a traditional morning cocktail (screwdriver) instead of the ever so popular and visually appealing bloody mary's. Of the three types of toast, the pesto strawberry was the tastiest. The eggs benedict was awesome. Served on a split muffin with maple bacon and a delicious sauce. The potatoes were killer. First boiled and then fried so the inside was soft but the outside crispy. Get in my belly!

Great appetizers here! Amazing atmosphere with a great little patio with misters to keep you cool. Their peanut lime chicken salad is phenomenal!

The smash burger was killer. Sat at the bar and had great service. Food was all amazing. Never had finger steaks and these did not disappoint.

A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

If the weather is cooperating, sit outside. The beer selection is impressive, with a great range of lagers and ales. We had our eye on one particular light, crisp option, but they were out for the night. Our server pointed us toward something comparable... I believe it was called Teddy Bearnd...it worked. Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.

And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.

We finished our walk and made our way to the restaurant. This will be our 6th year having lunch here. Trying to keep our traditions alive. As a courtesy, we called the day before to let management know that they will be expecting a party of 20. This joint charges 30 bucks per person for reservations as a deposit. 30 bucks?!? It's quite humorous really, 30 dollar deposit is more than a majority of their meals they charge. The manager on duty last year told us to call to let them know for a heads up but not necessarily make a reservation. And of course that manager doesn't work there anymore. The manager I spoke with was a complete joke. "Saturday is our busiest day". We'll, if it's your busiest day than why aren't you properly staffed? "We can't just serve you in 2 seconds". Never have I asked to be served in 2 seconds. What kind of management team do you have running this joint? Clearly unprofessional clowns. We showed up at opening. Clearly I wasn't taken seriously since the hostess had no clue about our large party coming. No tables were set up. "You should have came at 11:30". I didn't know that we had to accommodate to the manager and his timing. He set up our tables and didn't even bother with us the whole time we were there. Food was good. I had the salmon. I had asked for my salmon to be overly cooked. With my new kidney, I can't have anything like fish and beef rare. My fish was not cooked the way I asked and had to be sent back. I expressed to the server if needed out more than well done. So honestly, I don't think the cook took my request seriously. Last year eating at the restaurant was a crap show. This year is a bigger crap show. So many better restaurants in town that don't have this ridiculous reservation fee and yet this joint does. Management here is on the same tier as a trash can. Honestly, after this last visit, we might consider going to another joint to start a new tradition. My family and our money is worth more than the disrespect management gave us.

I don't know that I have ever given a brewery a 5 Star review...this makes sense!…read more I have been doing my little Fish & Chips search through Boise and I will have to say, this place is Hands Down the best yet that I have found! Now I have been here a few times and I like the place. The service is good, especially in the bar. The place is very open and has great light and fresh air which I always love. Add to that some great food and creative cocktails and you have a winner! They have a great Old Fashion that is a creation of one of the bartenders and I think is just a fantastic drink! Balanced flavor, a little sweet but not too sweet...with a nice bourbon finish to it! Now back to the Fish & Chips...I have had them twice now, with the same cocktail to chase them down. These are what Fish & Chips are meant to be. The batter is light with a great crunch, not heavily breaded but a light flavorful batter! Fries are good, home-made tartar sauce which always hits...and all the items you want with them...lemon, vinegar and for me mustard! I will be back, over and over again. for a drink, some good service and the best Fish & Chips when I am having that craving! KT

I visited 10 Barrel Brewing recently with my fiancé, and while there were some high points…read moreregarding the flavors and service, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.

We came here for a birthday celebration tonight, a Sunday. There were four couples. We were sat…read moreright away (I believe we had reservations) at a nice corner half booth. It has a nice ambience. Inside are a combination of booths, half booths, low and bar height tables, dark wood, with a nice semi-circular bar with a nice, semi-circular metal decoration that was filled with artificial plants, wine bottles, and small kegs. There was a wine rack accent wall on the right. It is located in downtown Boise at the corner of Idaho and 8th St along restaurant row. Our server was Matthew B, and while he was a nice guy, he did not provide good service. It took him a while to get to our table, then after we ordered drinks, it took too long to get them. We then ordered appetizers but he didn't take our dinner orders. We waited too long for the appetizers, and then we ordered our dinners, which also took a while to come out. Runners brought our food out, not Matthew. He did not to refill the women's sodas, we had to ask. He did bring another glass of wine to one of the men, but that was because he was signaled. He did not ask the other people that ordered beer and cocktails if they wanted another. We never had our water glasses refilled. We told him about the birthday celebration, and all he said was, if we ordered dessert, he would put a candle on it. What? Most places serve a complimentary dessert for a birthday celebration. He also took too long to bring us our checks. We're all good tippers. We gave him 15%; he didn't deserve it. The food was OK, not spectacular, but overpriced. As far as the apetizers, the asparagus fries were not that flavorful, though nicely crusted. The cauliflower was just OK, likewise the chicken wings. I did like the honey and balsamic grilled brussel sprouts. Speaking for my wife and I, she liked the BAM Sammy. The side salad was average. I ordered the Urban Burger. While the patty was cooked well, it was small. I can get a bigger, better burger that costs less at any number of restaurants we frequent, including a few near us (we live in Star). I did like the fries. Crispy, with I believe Parmesan cheese coating them. My friend said his smoked salmon salad was just OK. We found it very loud, and difficult to hear each other in conversation. Needless to say, we have no plans to return to Fork.
