    Chili cheese dog

Watching the AFC game tonight and we are over it having pizza so we decided on burgers. I appreciate that this joint closes at 9 on a Sunday. If we can support local, we are going to do it! It was a little later when we got here. There were a couple people inside eating. We were instantly greeted. The gal was super nice while we were looking over the menu board. She helped us make sure my husband's Philly had all of it's adjustments made. I ordered the single cheeseburger with zucchini fries. We drove home to eat our goodies so it wasn't as hot as if we were going to eat there. Regardless of it cooling down a bit, it was still so good! I love the grilled onions on my burger. I will have to ask for more next time! It reminds me of getting a burger from the county fair. It was so fantastic! From the bun being so soft, the sweetness of the grilled onions, melty cheese and clean hamburger meat, it was the perfect burger! The zucchini fries were crunchy, savory and salty. Some of the pieces of fried zucchini were huge! I was only able to smash out half of them. The fries were not overly fried. I love mushy fries and there were quit a bit of them in the little bag. Everything was fabulous! If you're looking for a good local burger joint to hit up, The Hit List is a must! I look forward to going back and grabbing another burger from them.

    A Philly Close up.

I was excited to try Hit List in Garden City, but unfortunately, the food didn't meet expectations. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and the pinball machines were a cool touch. Our order took about 15 minutes, which was fine. The Philly was made with ground beef and honestly would have been better as a shepherd's pie sandwich with mashed potatoes and corn. The burger came with only cheese and onions on a soggy bun--pretty disappointing. Fries were just okay, maybe even a little below that. We were asked if we wanted fry sauce; one of us said yes, the other no, but we ended up with two portions at an extra $0.25 each. Guess we should have read the menu more carefully. Overall, the food wasn't even satisfactory. Too bad--I really wanted to like this place. Red Onions? And for $25 with tip? Sigh. We should have gone to PHO NOMENAL as planned. sorry....

First time visiting on 11-4. Very nice place with great food. Both guys working there were very nice and helpful. The squeeze and I split the Pastrami Burger. Excellent sandwich, full of great flavors, especially the Pastrami. Everything was fresh and HOT! Will definitely be back!

Was there on Friday at lunch and there was maybe half a dozen people. I didn't care for the batter/breading on the zucchini fries, and they were $5. The cheeseburger had good flavor and I like the grilled onions. I try to support the local restaurants but not sure I'd spend $20 for lunch again and that didn't include a drink. The pinball machines were a nice touch but overall the experience was pretty mediocre.

What a good addition to this area! This family owned business has got it and they are extremely friendly. The cheeseburger is absolutely delectable and I think about it often, which of course pulls me to return time and time again. One of these days, I will try something different but until I do I will enjoy that piping hot and juicy cheeseburger. Burgers at other places now often lack juiciness. I was raised on burgers that drip down your arm, this burger has the strong possibility to do that. Their fried zucchini and fries are excellent as well. The seating is simple and open. Self poor soda, and yes, refills are still alive and well here. Parking is plenty. Great stop for lunch but be careful, you too will get stuck on their awesome cheeseburger and only order that from now on.

Perhaps this was an off Saturday night...walked in at 5pm, place was underwhelming in decor and empty. We were greeted by the cashier who offered no suggestions on the menu other than asking if we wanted fry sauce (without letting us know there was an up charge for that) and flipping over the register to ask for a tip. Unfortunately my husband asked for some adjustments on the burger (less ketchup, onions, tomatoes and pickles) but the order wasn't entered in correctly. No read-back to ensure order was correct and was unable to see the order on the receipt because it's only a total stub. Note to self: ask for them to repeat the order if we return. Order came quickly and it was obvious the chef took pride in his work...was impressed with the quick and friendly delivery. Hubby was pretty disappointed that he couldn't enjoy his burger even after scraping off all the stuff he detests (sorry, he's picky). He just enjoys eating a burger to enjoy a burger, not the toppings. Daughter has the meatball sandwich which was okay...fresh parm was a nice touch. I had the pork and Mac sandwich...pork was tender and flavorful but the Mac seemed to be boxed Mac and took the sandwich down a notch. Fries and fry sauce were pretty good...nice and crunchy, almost crave worthy. Strongly suggest this place capitalize on those fries and come up with a killer scratch chili fries side or poutine. Would also love to see a chicken option for people that aren't red meat or pork eaters. Overall, did not live up to the hype I read on Yelp, though will try again in hopes that we can have an experience like we've read about.

Interior of Dining room. Smooth finish on the benches and tables.

Early afternoon bite to eat. Friendly host, counter order, serve yourself soft drinks and simple bench and table interior furniture. This isn't rough patio furniture. See pic. Got the pastrami sandwich. It had a good portion of pastrami. It was real pastrami, which is hard to find around these parts. Lean with a good smoke. Decorated with a lightly spicy mustard in a toasted yet soft roll. Fries come with the order, but substitutes were offered. Fries are large cut but not steak fries. Very good, lots of them. Considering all the personal time this place puts into the food, it is a real value proposition at $12. See pic. Definitely recommended.

The burger here was not bad. I would've liked a harder sear and more seasoning on the patty, but nothing some extra sauce/salt can't fix. I feel like if you press a patty, it should be thin enough to where the dryness doesn't matter. In this case, the patty was a little thick, pressed, and therefore felt dry. Service was friendly, not the best burger, but I don't mind eating it again.

Wish they use iceberg instead of the wilty romaine. That would freshness and crunch. Otherwise, blah burger.

I have read reviews about this restaurant and decided to try it this afternoon after going to an…read moreevent at Expo Idaho. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly. I ordered the #1 combo, which was the double cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. The food was fresh, the burger was good, but I wish it was seasoned a little better. The french fries were crispy and I had a side of fry sauce. They were good and the meal was hardy. I would like to try more menu items and possibly give the place a higher rating. If you are in Garden City, this is a good place to eat so I'd recommend you try it.

Husband suggested Big Bun for dinner tonight so of course I said yes. The last time I was there,…read moreit was still cold out so we sat in the main dining area. With it being warmer today, I was hoping the extended area was going to have it's big garbage type windows open. Pulling up, I noticed that the big garage doors were open! It was a little chilly out but the sun was shining and beautiful. We walked in and placed our order with the sweet gal at the register. I grabbed a table facing the parking lot. You can feel a nice breeze going through the dining area. It was a little chilly but I'm looking forward to when it's a little warmer out sitting in the same spot. For dinner we ordered a bunch of fun things. My husband grabbed the McCafferty sandwich and a raspberry/blackberrymilkshake. I got some mozzarella sticks, a homemade corndog and a cherry lemonade. I enjoyed the batter on the mozzarella sticks and corndog. It was night and airy! The cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks was great! My corndog was fried to perfection. I loved that the cherry lemonade had pieces of cherry in it. It wasn't grenadine syrup that most places use. I did have a little of the shake. It was so good! It was very thick and had bits of berries in it. Everything was so good tonight. Happy we came here for dinner tonight. We got a good meal and we supported a local business. It was great to see other people out enjoying their food like we did. Looking forward to our future visit to Big Bun.
