I stopped by here on a whim wanting to try a new drink. I got the lavender strawberry matcha, and it did not disappoint! I like matcha and the added flavors were delicious. The location is small, but it's cozy. The customer service is nice and helpful!

Good cafe spot. I've been looking for a good matcha latte in the area, and this is one is better than most by far. I got an iced medium matcha strawberry latte. The strawberry flavor probably boosted the matcha latte, lol. Med Matcha latte is priced at $5.65 but my total came out to $7, so I suppose the extra flavoring added onto that cost. Decent enough! I'd love to try their other drinks next time. Service was also friendly and quick.

It got off to a shaky start, but it's become my go-to coffee shop East of the Parkways. Very good coffee (go with the bold) and staffed with baristas who understand and provide customer service. Not a ton of space for large groups, but there are usually plenty of open tables for quick meetings or working on your laptop. It's a great locally owned and operated shop. read more

I am addicted to their Coffee Frappe; pretty much every morning. Quick drive thru (as quick as any Starbucks). They have a loyalty punch card, which is nice for regular customers. Bagels and real Philly Cream Cheese served here! Friendly staff. Prices are better than the Seattle shop. read more

the young lady working the drive thru this morning was RUDE! she kept cutting us off asking if thats it after each item we requested and then we asked about cold foam because we saw it on ugly mug's instagram and she barks "what do you mean!? we don't do that here!" we literally saw it on YOUR POST lol. then she hands us our drinks which had coffee overflow all over the tops and it spilled on my car and pants and she sarcastically says sorry and hands us napkins. then she hands us the food and the sandwich falls out into the carseat because shes rushing us and being rude. our sandwiches were also cold and the americano we requested almond milk in had no almond milk in it. overall, it's ridiculous and we won't be back. i used to recommend this place to others and encourage people to support local but after today i'll visit another local shop. read more

I LOVE their iced tea. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, I get iced tea here. Today I got the peach iced tea and my fiancé got passion fruit iced tea. Both amazing and refreshing. And they support local charities, which is a huge plus. Love this place!!! read more

This is my favorite drive-thru coffee place in Memphis. I've had their Americano, pour over and iced coffee and all are solid choices for a reasonable price. The staff is always nice and the service is always quick. I would definitely recommend and frequent this coffee shop. read more

Found this place just on a hunt for a local coffee spot, while here in Memphis from Cincinnati for work. And this place nailed it! Staff was friendly, didn't know exactly what I wanted they made a few suggestions and nailed it! Worth the drive from where I was staying, worth a drive from Cincinnati maybe not so much but I can order the coffee online so that may work out greatGreat job Ugly Mug! read more

The ugly mug is serious about coffee. I only accidentally ended up here but soon discovered a great pseudo-third-wave coffee house. They roast their own coffee and source it well, something I've seen lacking in Memphis proper. It's really got that "coffee shop" feel, in the few times I've been in there I've met many great people; The Ugly Mug is a social experience too. The shelves are stocked with everything from ceramic and glass drippers to authentic aeropress. They even have a vacuum pot too! The music is a bit eccletic, its not the typical indie folk one would find elsewhere, but its a great sign when your coffee shop is playing the Buena Vista Social Club. However, the defining characteristic of the Ugly Mug is the passion for coffee. read more

Ramblin' Joe's Was founded in 2002 with the goal of bringing happiness to people through a cup of joe. We have been roasting and importing since 1985 and operate several coffee shops throughout the southern US.

David worked in the family coffee business since 1994 and soon became the head coffee roaster. His joy of traveling and discovering unique coffees from around the world led to the development of the story of Ramblin joes.

But the star was the mushrooms - they are whole and come in their own gravy. If you are from New England, get the mushrooms AND the fries, and enjoy them together just like old school fries and gravy. Pure decadence! Our server V was too fabulous. We started with a tasty carrot coriander amuse-bouche from Chef Nate, followed by: * Georges Banks Scallops: Served with tomato gelatin, cured kiwi, and crema. Paired well with a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. * Sweet Potato Tamale: Topped with spiced mayo, avocado crema, and charred cabbage. This place has the best coffee. Much better and higher quality than Starbucks. Their staff is professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They have never messed up my drink since I've started going there. I highly recommend the Saving Grace coffee for a nice mild coffee and the White Chocolate Mocha is excellent. It is not overly sweet as other places make theirs. This is one excellent local business that you should run to for your coffee fix. read more

The Full Moon Frappe and Carmel Frappe are the best in Memphis in my opinion. For sure my "go to" drinks on all of those hot summer days! It's a little small and can get loud from time to time but you can just go outside or just take these great drinks to go! read more
