My daughter and I came into Shinjuku Ramen late this past Saturday night after going to a concert at Allegiant Stadium. We were starving and trying to find somewhere to eat that wasn't fast food and was super stoked to find out that there was a ramen spot in town that was open for 24 hours. Here's how it went: Location: 7/10 it's a little difficult to spot and easy to miss if you're driving too fast along Spring Mountain. It's tucked away in a little center (Cross streets being Arville/Spring Mountain if I remember correctly) -Parking: 10/10 there's a lot! -Ambiance: 9/10 there's a good amount of seating and it definitely gives off little Japanese ramen shop vibes. The pace of the business seemed to pick up the later it got but it never got overwhelmingly busy. It wasn't loud in there so it's very easy to sit and have a conversation and not have to ask someone to repeat what they said across the table. - Service: 10/10! We were immediately greeted by the host and seated very quickly. The waitress was very attentive and they were both super welcoming and kind. Food: 8/10 there's a lot to choose from on the menu. We got the gyoza and it tasted very delicious but I think it might have been slightly overcooked because the filling on the inside was a little bit tougher to chew. I ordered the Oyakodon (Oyakudon) and I wasn't too impressed, however, the chicken was very tasty and NOT DRY so that was a plus for me. My daughter ordered the Black Garlic Oil Ramen in Pork brother and devoured that so that item was definitely a win. Overall, definitely recommend this place for something tasty that won't break the bank and not have you stressing circling around the parking lot when you're hungry. The food was packaged well and they included utensils for us thankfully. The chicken fried rice was cooked well. The meat wasn't dry at all which was good for something delivered. The ramen was pretty good. I liked the broth for being a vegan one though need more salt or umami for me since it's balancing uncooked veggies and tofu. I liked it being togo since I could heat the broth more to my liking. The amount of ingredients was decent. The main slip in this case was the black garlic oil. It didn't add anything flavor wise and just created a layer at the top. It made it a bit harder to eat and I ended up pouring some out. All in all, decent. 5 Stars Found a new go-to spot for any time of day -- Shinjuku Ramen is open 24/7 and absolutely delivers. I started with the chicken karaage and the shrimp kimchi fried rice. Both were incredibly flavorful -- the karaage was perfectly crisp, and the fried rice came with whole shrimp (tails on), which made for a really nice presentation. For my ramen, I went with the Tonkotsu with spicy oil, and it's hands-down one of the best bowls I've had in town. The thin noodles are a great touch and exactly what I prefer. The chashu was cooked perfectly and practically melted in my mouth. The atmosphere is also great, it gives a great "hole in the wall" spot to it. It's right next to Shanghai Plaza and you miss the craziness of the parking. There was no wait at all, even at 9pm on a Saturday, and the food came out in a standard 10-15 minutes. Early birthday celebration for a friend. Needed something hot and tasty before calling it a night and remembered this is one of the few ramen shops that's open 24/7. There were still a few diners when we came in. We ordered shoyu chicken ramen, black garlic ramen, tonkotsu, takoyaki, ube crepe cake and burnt basque cheesecake. They're open 24 hrs Thursday - Sunday! I went in a 2am looking for a nice bowl of ramen after wandering the Strip all night. Ordered the pork based Spicy Miso Ramen. I do like that they are generous with the noodles. Usually I need Kaedama, or a refill of noodles, but not at Shinjuku! It was delicious but the soup was a little too salty. I also love that they have togarashi and chili oil on every table. Knowing that now, next time I'll just get the tonkotsu and spice it with togarashi to my liking. read more

I found this place when I was hunting in the late hours of the night for tasty ramen. I work late nights, so by the time I get out of work, there's not much that's open. So for all you late night food and beverage industry workers out there, check this place out! The restaurant is located in the Chinatown of Las Vegas and it has a parking lot outside. The ramen noodle portion was generous, but each ramen only came with two slices of meat. The ramen seemed to be overpriced given the amount of meat included. The tenderness of the ramen was just right, but the soup was very salty. The service was okay - the waitress only gave us a bottle of water and five cups and expected us to serve ourselves. The bottle did not have enough water for everyone, but the waitress did not offer to bring us more water. When we tried to pay for our bill using Apple Pay, she brought us the machine with the total amount without giving us the breakdown bill. On her machine screen, it showed a total and asked for tips (suggested amount included 18%, 20% and 22%) or a skip tips option. My little son said SKIP when I was trying to verify the total was correct and the tips amount, then she said "that is fine, a tip already included in the total and I meant to tell you about it." NO, she DID NOT mean to say anything about the automatic included tips at all. She did not even give me the breakdown bill to see each of my order at the very beginning. I only got the receipt with the order breakdown after I paid and that receipt did list a 18% tips already included. I did not like the way how this business is operated. I am always on the lookout for a Gyudon Bowl ( Beef Bowl) and found Shinjuku on a night I was looking for a late bite. When I walked in the restaurant I was able to be seated right away.
