The Spicy Miso is a good fish and modestly priced. There aren't many ramen restaurants in the area so this is a good option.

Ate here a couple of weeks ago. Food wise, I have to say this is one of the worst ramen place I have eaten. Ramen was bland. The broth was extremely watered down. Ramen broth is suppose to be taste rich so it enhanced everything else. The egg was overcooked and cold. Didnt taste fresh. The chasu was warm and chewy. It honestly tasted like the packaged ramen noodles you can get for 10-25 cent at walmart. I dont rate service because I dont care much for it as it is an asian restaurant. I've heard of Ramen Joy, but never had the opportunity to visit the restaurant. I just came from my doctor in Bedford with a sore throat. I needed soup so googled Yelp for Ramen. Joy Ramen came up and so we headed there. Oh, oh, my! It was the best ramen we've had in the DFW area. We have been to Tokyo and had ramen and Ramen Joy is right up there. I had the Spicy Tonkotsu and my husband had the Spicy Shoyu ramen. The spice was there, but not overpowering. Delish and lots of ramen, bean sprouts, marinated egg and mushrooms. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. We will be going back to try the handmade dumplings. read more

OK, not sure why this place isn't ranked higher, but for those who follow me know , I am a Asian food fiend. I live for umami and spice, the npodleamd the dumpling. Here we have a great smokey (almost bacony) ramen with a great portion of noodles, a nice 3 slice portion of pork belly and a hard boiled egg (may be duck?) And bean sprouts and mushroom shreds: it's Devine! Now let's get to the point, ramen is soup and you can make it for a dime and be deceived all day long: this is art not Instamatic. While I wish I was a ramen expert, I'm not, so maybe I'm missing something? It was deep, of pork and miso broth IMHO and then there were hand made (yes really on Texas Hand Made!) Dumplings they were large, thin walled and PORKILICIOUS! I wish I could order more to compare but we are only 2 men (me and my gut) and my wife, and while we're eating for 4, let's not forget to mention the fries rice Potter with chicken thigh: yep you read right, DARK meat fried rice: come to the dark side..we have flavor. I have been twice and both times, I have been totally satisfied. I'm not much of a ramen connoisseur but this place is great! I would definitely eat here any day of the week and bring my friends. I've been looking to try this place out for a while. I hadn't been to ramen joint before! When you enter the decor isn't elaborate, but you immediately receive a friendly greeting. I got the edamame as an appetizer and it was delicious (I love me some edamame). Then I got the spicy beef ramen with cabbage as the entree. I really enjoyed the broth. It definitely wasn't too spicy. In fact I think if I hadn't gotten the spice I might've found it to be too bland. I also loved the cabbage and the noodles. The beef wasn't my favorite part, kind of had an unexpected flavor that I can't quite name. I think next time I'll try the vegetarian or the pork ramen. Overall though it was a nice experience and is close to home, so I'll probably be back! read more

This spot is rough. This is our second time to try it and both were equally...bad. First, there are no vegetables with these meals. Zero. At least the meals that we purchased. We got a rice dish, lo mein, and ramen as well as egg rolls. The portions are about half of what you get at Moon Wok, which is down the street on Harwood. The food is salty and brown. The broth for the ramen was quite oily. I'm so frustrated that this place got my money. I'm comforted that it's a local place and not a chain. Everything was disappointing and half full. For a new restaurant they are doing great! I had the spicy miso ramen and fried wontons and they were all delicious! She did ask for feedback and I think they genuinely want to improve as they go. By far the worst ramen I've ever had. It's no where near the way ramen is meant to be. Broth isn't creamy or remotely rich in flavor. It's watered down and has a weird Chinese spice after taste. The noodles taste like instant. Chashu pork hasn't been braised either. The boiled eggs weren't fresh and I'm sure they were store bought. Anyone who thinks this place has good ramen, obviously, doesn't know any better. It's a new place and I believe they're trying hop onto the ramen trend.
