We ordered the Miso soup, tempura shrimp and the gyoza. The quality of the food was tasty. The place was not busy and the noise level was low which was nice. The service was excellent, we received our food and drinks very quickly and the server was always available if needed. Her attitude was very accommodating and pleasant. I paid for extra protein and I paid for an extra egg in the ramen. When the food was dropped off there was a HALF of an egg in the ramen, no sauce for the chicken katsu, the rice was hard as if it was from the day before, and the portion of the side salad was insulting. Covid-19 review: Service was very quick and to go packaging was secure for driving. You walk up and you are behind a glass so it felt safe. Order pickup by phone because prices are dollars cheaper per item than ordering online. Our group of three ordered 2 spicy Misos and one shoyu ramen. The spicy misos were about medium spicy, nothing crazy. You can exchange the pork with chicken in the miso which catered to one of our diets. Everything here was cooked well. The noodles were of medium quality. All dishes include eggs which are my favorite. We also shared the order of wings. They were well cooked and crispy, but plain. It came with a dipping sauce but it was just good. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to order them again. I would like to try their other appetizers. Short Version: Absolutely delicious ramen, killer gyoza and spring rolls, great service, go get some! This location is very unassuming, with handwritten paper signs and a plain exterior. Inside there are a multitude of tables, where you seat yourself. I went on a Saturday at about 2pm, and there was only one other person eating, so service was especially quick. I ordered the spring rolls, gyoza, and tonkotsu ramen with pork. Spring rolls: absolutely delicious flavor, fried to perfection, a little gummy on the inside, but that didn't affect my experience. They were served with duck sauce that has the slightest hint of spice, which was perfect. Gyoza: Cooked perfectly, didn't think to ask about the filling, but whatever it was was savory, and very fulfilling (I think it was chicken). The dipping sauce was absolute perfection. I asked the hostess what was in it, she said she didn't know but would ask, and came back and told me everything in it! I really appreciated her thoroughness! Tonkotsu ramen: Ok, first, the serving size was absolutely enormous. My total was $24 (excluding a tip) which seemed more than fair given that I took home leftovers enough for an entire second meal. The broth had some great body, lacked some flavor, but I got a side of chili oil and that really helped. The chili oil crisps tasted slightly burned, and it was spicier than I expected, but it worked really well with the ramen! The pork was perfect, the bean sprouts were crunchy, the scallions were fresh, the woodear mushrooms had that awesome texture they tend to have, and the soft-boiled egg was perfectly cooked. It only came with one half of the egg, and in the future I will get more. I typically don't like fishcake, but the little pieces in my bowl weren't too fishy and I really enjoyed them, too! I left the seaweed alone, though. I think I waited MAYBE 10min before everything was brought out to me, and it didn't take more than eye contact for the woman serving me to come over! Right now this place is pretty much all pickup, or you can sit outside. This place was so good!!!! Oh my gosh! My friends and I all ordered different things and each of us loved it. I got the Tonkatsu and Scallion Pancakes. They were so freaking good! Honestly, the best ramen place that I have been to including Tempe and Phoenix. Wow! My husband has been wanting to try this Ramen place since it opened, it's in a convenient location as it's just down the street from us. We called ahead and ordered since we wanted to eat at home, we got there and still had a bit of a wait. All the while the restaurant was empty, but as we waited for our food people slowly started to walk in. Once we paid and got our food we left, the restaurant being almost full. Our food was great, we liked that everything came separated. It made it so it was not only an experience putting it together but made it so nothing got soggy. I was not a huge fan of what I ordered, but it doesn't steer me away - I would definitely return. Their menu is extensive and makes you want to try everything. We ordered some gyoza, which was the main disappointment. They were not cooked very well, cold, and even with grill marks could tell they were not fresh. Ramen Time was the perfect ending to a productive Sunday! I think of ramen as comfort food and the Spicy Miso Ramen I ordered was so delicious and had just the right kick to it. I literally ate the whole thing, drank straight from the big bowl and all! Not only was the ramen amazing, but the service was excellent. The servers were friendly, prompt, and efficient. I really liked the casual, but tasteful atmosphere inside-there were plenty of tables, they had a nice patio (for when the weather cools down!) and they had a cute little bar with a couple of TVs (in case you need to keep track of those fantasy football points).
