    Assorted Sashimi Combo Chow Fun

Let me start by saying everyone who works here makes you feel like your supposed to be eating here! Very nice people and must I say the food is super good! The pad thai is top tier along with the chow fun. We also ordered a bunch of rolls sashimi and a bowl of poke! First time coming here and me and my family will definitely be back!

Misaka is one of our "go-to" restaurants in the area. I ordered the Donburi Chicken Bowl, which was incredibly amazing. The chicken was tender, well seasoned, and their portion was more than filling. I especially enjoy the sauce and always ask for "extra" sauce. We also ordered the garlic edamame, which was seasoned well. You can place a little of that sauce on some rice, and it would be "perfect!: The garlic noodle is always a great choice. There's a slight sweetness that's hard to articulate, but it definitely adds a layer of flavor! Our last order was the Tiger Roll - the portions of the slices were perfect. We loved the sauce, and the shrimp was cooked just the way we liked. The service was also great (we've always had good service), but on this visit, Catie was the one who helped us. She was prompt, had a friendly smile, and consistently checked on us. Great job, Catie! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's private parking and plenty of seating. (Though it can get busy during peak hours or weekends)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. There's a bar (we've never sat in the bar area), and for the most part, the hostesses were friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They keep the place clean (including the restrooms), and the longest wait we've had to do was 10 minutes (with a big party).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We 100% recommend Misaka!

I had a great experience at Misaka Sushi! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the drinks were amazing. The owner, Ming, was very helpful and such a friendly person. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On a Friday night, this place has such a fun, lively environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a great time, met new people, and loved that it's a true bar setting. perfect for socializing while enjoying a great dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wait time was very typical for a Friday night, and we didn't wait long at all. We sat at the bar, which I actually prefer. I will definitely be back. Hands down, the best sushi place in Brentwood!

Our party of three absolutely loved this great find tucked away near the country club in Brentwood. The ambiance had modern moody vibes, very tastefully decorated with dark wood accents and classicly dim lightling throughout. The interior was quite spacious. It was not busy on a Saturday afternoon and easily accommodated a few large groups as well as several smaller ones. Service was friendly and very attentive. Several couples were at the large and very active bar area near the entrance. All the tables had a great view of the kitchen where multiple chefs worked on freshly displayed sushi and other specialty dishes. The Spicy Hangover - deep fried spicy tuna stuffed avocado... YES PLEASE! This was a surprising treat with the creamy avocado, crunchy batter and umami flavor! Black Garlic Tonkatsu - rich and creamy broth with pork belly, chicken, marinate egg and veggies. Shrimp and Scallop Ramen - generously portioned with a deliciously creamy broth and fixings. Poke Bowl with Tuna - freshly prepared with all the toppings. Baked Lion King Roll - our "go to" choice of avocado, crab and salmon. Well prepared and we could taste the freshness of the ingredients. We got the bill and pleasantly noted that the prices were quite reasonable. The only quirky part of the venue was the country music that played prominently in the background! Other than that, highly eecommended!

Oh Misaka!!!! This restaurant is so much more than a great spot for Sushi!! . The food ranges from Edemame (options), Pho, Ramen, Cooked Rolls, Raw Rolls, Sashimi, Nigiri, Black Garlic Noodles. Derp fried chicken, Pork belly buns, boneless ribeye steaks, and even bone-in large pork chops!!!! AND THE BAR HAS SO MANY OPTIONS TOO! Sake, Whiskey, Vodka, Custom Cocktails, Beer, Wine and sparkling options too! Service was fast too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sound can be loud but the prices make up for that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ding, Dinh, Ding goes the bell and the food is delivered splickety split! Josh was the best server ever!! Oh and did I mention the tolls are HUGE?!?! Run, don't walk to this amazing gem that is great for friends, family, girls nights, fella get together!

tbh their hot foods are better than their sushi. sushi was really delish today though. unsure if it was bc it was slow or if I was very hungry. beef chow fun always the best!!

Misaka is our go to spot for sushi! This was our first time trying the salt and pepper wings and they were super crispy and the duping sauce was the perfect pairing of citrus zestyness! We got the Ocean, Misaka, Hurricane and California Sunrise rolls. They were all super tasty. We loved the Ocean roll the seared tuna was a great addition! We love spicy tuna as you can tell by the rolls we ordered. Next time we will get a better variety, when reading the rolls it seamed as they were different but then they came out they were all very similar. Still very delicious but would have been nice to have a variety of flavors. None the less everything was amazing as always!! We love their kitchen options as well and don't forget to order their heartburn appetizer it's out of this world!!

My husband and I were on the fence where to go for sushi when we were in the area but decided on this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were sat right away, service was friendly, restaurant was clean and the sushi we ordered was fresh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our only complaint was We were disappointed because they didn't have any toro or uni and that's why we went out to sushi. They did have fresh oysters so that was a plus. However, With all the other sushi options in the surrounding area I can't say we would choose to come back to this spot. Nothing wrong with it, just not what we're accustomed to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We typically enjoy sitting up at the sushi bar but they had a napkin rolling station setup there and some other service items such as water pitchers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe sushi isn't the main focus at this place? Not sure but all in all wasn't bad.

1st timers and the food was really great. We originally came for the restaurant next door, but they were closed, so we decided to just go for sushi. This location is super big, loud and family friendly. I can say that their bar area is popular because I've never seen people crowded around a sushi bar. Service was great, a little busy when we got there, but our server did a great job checking in with us. Super White Tuna Nigiri: 10/10 super fatty and melted like butter. Honestly, I'd order like 10 of these for myself and everyone else can order their own. A fan of it for sure. Dragon & Spider Roll: 9/10 like how can you go wrong with these rolls. It's literally a favorite with most people and everywhere we have ate them all taste great. Hungry Roll: 9/10 it's a spicy roll, so if you're not into spice (hot Cheeto spicy) then I would not get this, but if not, this is the roll for you. The fish on top is seared, so it was perfect for my husband to try some. Gyoza: 7/10 super basic, nothing to rave about. The price is super up high for something that taste like I could buy from Costco. But we still ordered them - LOL! Overall: 8/10 The food was GREAT, the service was on top of things, the only thing I'm going to nag about it probably the bathroom. It definitely needs to be remodeled and cleaned up correctly. I only went in there to wash my hands, but I looked around the stalls just in case and it was NOT cute at all. I think if you're going to charge high prices, I think the bathroom should be a little bit presentable. Most likely will order out and dine at home, but other than that we wouldn't mind going back.

Came here on a Friday night around 6pm and it was busy, but we sat at the bar and service was much faster. (Avg wait time for a table was 25-30min). The food was AMAZING we came back the following week. Their Brentwood Roll has a nice spicy kick, and the spicy tuna avocado is fire. It does get busy around 6-8pm. The owner, Ming, is super friendly and welcoming and was right there helping on a busy Friday night, making sure everyone was being served. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is also family-friendly, and if you're looking for a place to mingle, the bar is where it's at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've read some reviews the chef has changed and based on my recent visit, that may be the case. I've ordered the beef chow fun a couple times before and thought it was a solid choice. To note: they don't put any bean sprouts in their chow fun (usual for this dish) which is fine with me since I'm not a fan. This time, I think they dumped a ton of MSG in it. Very umami at first, I was extremely thirsty and lethargic the rest of the day. One coworker ordered the lemongrass chicken and the other, the chicken fried rice. We actually return to Misaka for the lemongrass chicken because she enjoys it so much. The two items arrived and they no joke looked (and tasted) almost identical. I wish I took a pic. She questioned whether it was the lemongrass chicken and it was confirmed. The chicken fried rice was the oddest we've ever seen. It had sliced chicken on top of the rice. Both said they were "okay" but not what they expected. They also experienced the MSG side effects later.

Came here right before the holidays to have lunch with my son, [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was really nice and we were seated right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was not too busy and service was fast and efficient.

Second time trying this place. Staff has always been friendly and pretty attentive. There's ample amount of seating, but their tables do get full. Calamari (5/5)- I LOVEEE their Calamari. I also lovee that it comes with bell peppers and onions. Personally, i think their portion is a little small, but it's so good. Definitely worth trying! Heartburn (5/5)- These are deep fried jalapeno poppers! I'm a sucker for jalapeno poppers. They're stuffed with imitation crab and cream cheese. So flavorful, i lovee it ! My friends and i ordered three rolls to share: Yakuza, Lion King, and Marilyn Mon Roll. My favorite was the Yakuza; it reminds me of a standard Dragon Roll. Lion King was also good, but i can only eat like 2 pieces and i get tired of the taste. Usually Lion Kings take longer to make since they're baked, but it actually came out pretty fast. So that was nice. Personally, i did not like the Marilyn Mon Roll. Loveee the name, but flavor was lacking. I am looking forward to trying more of their food especially their rolls!

Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion. I ordered a roll for my daughter with no avocado and added cucumber. When we got home, the roll only had crab inside. There was no cucumber at all. I called and simply asked for a refund, but I was told the chef insisted the cucumber was in the roll, so they refused. Instead, they told me to drive back so they could remake it. After driving another 20 minutes back (40 minutes of driving total), the employee inspected the roll herself and immediately saw that there was, in fact, no cucumber. So the issue I reported from the beginning was real. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistake. Mistakes happen. It was being treated like my word wasn't trustworthy after years of supporting this business. Rather than believing a loyal customer or offering a simple refund, I had to waste my time and gas proving that the order was incorrect. It makes me wonder if one roll was really worth losing a long-time customer. Customer service is about how you handle mistakes, and unfortunately this experience left me feeling undervalued. I hope management reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future.
