Rami's has easily become one of my favorite establishments to stop by whenever I crave a dense but clean protein-packed meal. With their food quality and efficient service consistent throughout all my visits for the past two years, it really doesn't take much to convince me to drop what I'm doing and beeline right straight here. I love their stuffed pitas but nothing delights me more than the Rami's special, which just combines everything I love laid out nicely on a plate with a warm pita on the side. Fresh, crisp greens with house pickles. Creamy hummus. Flavorful, crispy exterior, and moist inside Falafels. Tasty meat cigars (kebabs). Tender chopped chicken. Hot sauce (schug) with a slight kick to tie it all in together. What's not to like? What's not to love? Can't wait to be back again! Definitely recommend!

Satisfied my cravings! Food was great and service was fast. The kebab meat was juicy and the pita was absolutely stuffed. I appreciated how much was packed in (almost couldn't finish it!). The pickles had a nice crunch and the hot sauce added a nice kick at the end. I wish there were more hot sauce or if I ordered it on the side instead to incorporate into every bite. It was a little salty for my taste but the hummus and salad helped level it out a bit. Definitely would come back to try other items on their menu.

Overall: 7.5/10 Taste: 8/10 - Falafels here are by far the best thing. Very crisp outside but not too dense inside with nice non-oily flavor - Everything else here is quite bland. The hummus and spicy sauce are decent. Price: 6/10 - The plates are very overpriced for the amount of meat and size of the portions. Service: 9/10 - The workers were very friendly and welcomed us in with a falafel and hummus sample Ambiance: 7/10 - The inside is cramped and the high tables we sat at had part of it being used for storage

    Shawarma and Hummus Pita. Delicious.

Our daughter lives near by and raves about the food. We drove an hour to take her to eat at Rami's. Our experience did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. I'd love to keep this a "secret" but feel like you should give it a try.

So good that I had to come back because I just couldn't stop thinking about it! The falafel and hummus pita is filling and well worth it. I brought my grandparents here and they loved it! The owner came out and talked to them which made the visit feel a little extra special. Service is friendly and ambiance is comfortable because of it! It may not look like much from the outside, but trust me, go in. You won't regret it!

I was craving hummus and salad this day, so this was perfect. Everything was super fresh and you can tell they make it in store. The hummus was amazing, I scraped it off the plate. The salad was fresh, I jus wish they gave me more pickles, and a different hot sauce. Overall a great option for a quick healthy and refreshing lunch option around Coolidge corner.

I love the pitta bread, ordered takeout baba hummus salad plate, good food came with one pitta. Would def order again here and buy an extra pitta it was that good, homemade hot and fresh. Baba and hummus have bang flavor, drizzled with a bit of olive oil on top. Salad is chopped style w cukes, toms etc. and pickles. Portion satisfying. Did not go inside for the takeout, and first time takeout. Looking forward to having lunch or supper here again.

Can't even begin to say how much I love this place. I always get the falafel and hummus pita and it always exceeds expectations. The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place and even though the inside is small, there's plenty of seating inside and outside. Best falafel I've ever had!

This was the chicken salad humus plate for $22! What??? Please give more food for this price.

Hummus, pita & baba ganoush are unbeatable. Easy takeaway and pretty affordable too. The platters are a great option for a meal.

First time at Bar Vlaha with a friend- overall, solid but not life changing…read more We started with spreads and bread and we got the trio: Kopanisti (whipped feta), Melitzanosalata (charred eggplant), and Taramosalata (carp roe). The dips were all good. The whipped feta was creamy, the eggplant had that nice smoky depth and the taramosalata was super interesting, very briny in the best "yes, this is definitely roe" kind of way. Only note is that the Horiatiko Psomi (house bread) could've been warm/toasted for my preference especially given the price of the dips, I expected the bread to be a little more elevated too Then we got the Lahanodolmades (cabbage stuffed with beef and pork, rice, mint, avgolemono). Well seasoned, the cabbage was tender without falling apart and that lemony avgolemono sauce tied everything together- it was bright and savory. For mains, we shared the Moschari me Damaskina (red wine-braised beef cheeks with prunes, trahanas) and Arni stin Souvla (slow-roasted lamb leg). The beef cheek was ridiculously tender- like barely touch it and it falls apart. Rich, slightly sweet from the prunes, with that warm spice note of the cinnamon that balanced the tomato acidity really nicely. The lamb was cooked well and definitely tasty but nothing super extravagant compared to other Greek lamb dishes I've had. Still really yummy especially with the onions and a squeeze of lemon cutting through the lamb. Portion-wise, the pricing felt a little high for what you get but the ambience is beautiful, definitely a great date night spot. Low lighting, cozy, feels elevated without being stuffy

Some things are good, some are fine. - Dips: eggplant, tzatziki, whipped feta (6.5/10): I think I've had better of all of these at different restaurants, so I wasn't too impressed by these. - manitaria (6.1/10): these mushrooms weren't that flavorful - lamb chops (9.3/10): my favorite thing on the menu! so flavorful and juicy. The cocktails here are pretty good! Overall a 4/5 because the service and ambiance are amazing.

Unfortunately, my first experience did not reflect the many positive reviews. When I walked in, the first thing I was asked was "pickup?" I politely said no, that I wanted to place an order. I had to repeat myself several times, and the older woman at the counter either seemed frustrated, distracted, or maybe just having a rough day. There was little direction given to a first-time customer, and I found myself awkwardly trying to figure out where the menu board was and how the ordering process worked. Eventually, I stepped aside to look over the menu. The older woman continued helping the customers in front of me, which was completely understandable. What confused me was that the younger employee made eye contact with me, nodded toward me as if acknowledging I needed help, then asked if anyone had helped me yet. I explained that the other employee was probably about to, but needed a moment. Before I could even finish, she cut me off and said, "Oh, she can help you then," and immediately went back to scrolling on her phone while I continued standing there waiting. That was the disappointing part for me. If you ask who's next at the register, acknowledge someone is waiting, and another employee is already busy helping others, it creates a poor first impression when the available employee chooses not to assist and instead goes back to their phone. It came across as a lack of urgency and customer service. Maybe it was just an off day. I'm not writing this to attack the business because the food may very well be excellent, and clearly many people love this place. But first impressions matter, especially for new customers walking in excited to try your establishment for the first time. I truly hope the service experience improves because I wanted to like this place a lot more than I did today.
