OMG worst service ever. At 4:40pm I placed an order for one 14" Pizza and a buffalo chicken salad, nothing special. The online order said they were working on it and it will be ready at 5:18, later I received a text saying it would be ready between 5:15 -5:30pm. At 5:30 the wait person stated it would be another minute. I continued to wait. At 5:40pm I spoke to the manager. At 5:45, He came back and stated it was just going into the oven. JUST GOING THE OVEN!!!! What!!! At 5:50 I was handed the 14" pizza, had to ask for the rest of my order, then got my buffalo salad, that had been sitting around since 4:57, according to the kitchen ticket. This is one of those New England neighborhood spots in small town that has great beer and pizza. You order at the counter and get your drinks from the bar and they heat up your pizza (or construct the meal in the case of eggplant or pasta) and bring it to you. We chose this place because they have outdoor seating (we chose picnic tables) and allow dogs outside which was necessary for us. The pastas were good! The Alfredo was rich and creamy, and the broccoli we added was cooked perfectly. Pizza was sturdy NE/NY style - thin crust with several different toppings including pesto, mushroom, bbq chicken, etc. pretty standard stuff, might have needed a little salt but overall respectable. I bet a fresh pie would have been even better. The eggplant could have used a bit more cooking, but it was pretty good, and the sauce and pasta paired well. Prices we're reasonable, especially for the slices at $2.50 each. And the beer was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly but brisk, nothing wrong with that. This is the kind of place the locals hang out at, hosts live music for garlic fest over Labor Day, and is probably busy most every evening. I'd stick with the pizza or the creamy pastas. The outdoor seating was nice and clean. My linguine was ok--the marinara with garlic did not taste of garlic at all. One meatball which was pretty salty. My partner's calzone was good and he said the garlic knots were the best he's ever had. Good service and okay prices but I was underwhelmed by my pasta. read more

This place has gone down hard the last few years. Impressive task to achieve considering how simple the menu is, most of which is frozen and dropped in the fryer. Our visits have been sporadic, always after having the "one more shot?" conversation beforehand...and were disappointed but unsurprised each time. No more. Pizza haphazardly smashed into the box, no cheese on an extra cheese request for a steak bomb with so much black pepper it was inedible anyway, incorrect wing sauces, hockey puck burgers...the list goes on and on. Used to love the blue cheese bacon burger, but the last time I ordered one no crumbles just a weird processed slice of "blue cheese." When we did address issues with the bartender she responded with "what do you want me to do about it?" with an eye roll. Hard to tell if it's the kitchen messing things up, or the bartenders just not paying attention. The "family friendly" watering hole atmosphere might be for some...but overall has gotten worse since they added liquor. Multiple times we've witnessed people stumbling out of the place. Had to pay our tab at the counter more than once bc the bartender either kept disappearing, or wasn't paying attention after multiple requests to cash out. Had to ask for a box five times once...Owner is either at the bar, or in the pizza area on his phone or playing with a towel...unsettling he how has multiple businesses. Maybe that's why this place sucks so hard now? There are a handful of other places to get your pizza fix, I recommend any of them over Ramuntos. read more

We had pizza and wings. 1/2 was the pulled pork which my boyfriend really likes likes my 1/2 was ham pineapple mushrooms crust was crispy and the crust on the end of the pizza was so soft and just absolutely tasty. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection. We had done the southern flavored ones and we absolutely absolutely love them. They were good sized wings there was definitely more than enough meat on it. We use the restaurant quite often, and we hardly ever have anything that we don't like from there. read more

This place used to be great. It has slide down hill in a big way. The slices are completely tasteless now. The counter help is unfriendly and does not really care about providing good service. We asked for two cheese slices on Sunday 5/5/24. One slice was teeny. The other was the typical normal size. They looked like they had been sitting around since the day before and probably had. This place is now so filthy that we will not return. The table and chairs are rickety and broken. The floor is disgusting. There are stains and grime on almost every surface. Amazingly unassuming local hangout spot with friendly casual atmosphere. Great tasting pizza (somewhat of New York style blend) and you can get it by the slice which is rare for good pizza places. We went here for lunch last weekend while on a trip to Vermont. It's my daughter-in-laws favorite pizza place in the Bennington area. I'm happy to say as a picky New Yorker that they make a solid pizza. I'd give the food 3.5 stars if possible, but I'm happy enough to round it up to 4 since it was a cool, comfortable place and the woman who served us was very friendly. We all had something different... I went for the garden pizza (pizza with sliced tomatoes and peppers). It was good and fulfilling and hit the spot since pizza was what we had a craving for. My husband had a regular slice and slice of Sicilian and thought it was pretty good. A far cry from another pizza joint in the area we absolutely hated. They go more for the crispy crust if that's what you like. The atmosphere of the dining area was very casual and rustic, and they also have a full bar. For locals or people who stay for longer than a weekend, they have theme nights too, which seemed pretty neat. Overall, a good experience. read more

Absolutely fantastic. Popped in here about 7:45 on a rainy Saturday night. Wasn't planning on leaving my inn, but got hungry. Ramuntos was lively and full of locals who all seemed to know each other. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted. I ordered the small Caesar salad which was great. The lettuce was VERY crispy and fresh. Not wilted like so many places these days. Then the small(er) cheese calzone. I expected it to be about the size of a large empanada...but the thing was HUGE! The smaller size could easily feed two people. I like that they put the marinara on the side so the crust doesn't get soggy. Crust was crispy, cheese was perfectly melted and I liked that you could tell there was ricotta in there too. This place years ago was awesome, but I think they have a bad case of "phoning it in". They have one really good pizza there but none of the ones on display are labeled. So when you order take out and try to describe the pie to them, it totally is misinterpreted and I end up getting a variation of the pie I ordered. The food here is yummy, however the service and management needs a wake up call. Yesterday I came in with my family and a friend for an early dinner. We were camping nearby and placed a to-go order to bring back to the rest of the crew after we ate our meal. I went to use the restroom near the end of the night and I overheard one of the servers speaking very loudly about the to go order I placed. She was saying "Ew! Who orders Caesar dressing with their wings! That is disgusting! Who does that?" It went on for quite a while. After returning to my seat and mulling it over, I went up to the counter and asked to speak to a manager. None seemed to be around so someone making pizzas came over to talk with me. I told him what I heard and how horrible it felt and what a bad look for a restaurant. While I was talking to him I could see workers snickering about me behind the counter. He offered no recourse, just said "sorry" and that was that. Being treated with basic respect is not to much to ask, Ramunto's! We hadn't eaten here in years because on many issues. Decided to give it another try, big mistake. We ordered a large veggie pizza to go, 1st off, it had very little sauce or cheese, it had an overpowering flavor of dried Oregano, horrible. The broccoli was put on the pizza raw, it needs to be par boiled or blanched before putting it on the pizza. Onions were in big chunks and raw. This by far had to be 1 of the worst pizza's I've ever had. It's obvious whomever is making the Pizza has No Clue what there doing. Take some pride in what your serving!! This is one of my favorite Ramuntos locations. The food is typically quite good. Great calzones and solid pizza. I also love their wings and burgers. The thinner style pizza is not my favorite, but they really make it work here. Delivery is reliable and food arrives hot. The service is not the best but for an "counter service, seat yourself place" it's bearable. I haven't had an exceptional experience, good or bad. read more

Hello Ramunto's owner and (most likely drunk) patrons who gave this establishment anything over 1 star. I have a tale for you. A tale of chicken wings that taste like they were dunked in someone's Chinese take out. Pizza crust that tasted like cardboard soaked with generic ass pizza sauce. Cheese with just a subtle notes of E. coli, salmonella, and listeria flavoring (chef kiss indeed, my toilet bowl is eating good today). I came to this establishment because of its high ratings, I am from out of town, I didn't know the tale of horrors that lie in side. The rude blonde twins that manned the counter, one on the phone perfecting her eye roll and swearing under her breath as she debated the customers order while glaring at me as if to say "Jesus Christ I have to work?" Then the girl who took my order, she was okay, still a little impatient as I made my order like she had better things to do. As far as pizza places go, this was sure one of the worst. The food was not even good enough to give a homeless person as I care about our nations homeless people. The pizza (minus 2 slices) and the wings (minus 2 of them as well) went to a good home, a dark dumpster in an empty parking lot.
