Super busy place for breakfast and lunch, but each time I've been there, the staff is always in a good mood and super helpful with decisions (which is needed sometimes because everything sounds good). I had the 50/50 sandwich last time I was there. Pastrami, turkey, Cole slaw, ground mustard on toasted bread. Sounds normal, right? Marsh Brothers put this sandwich into a whole other conversation of good. I grew up with Full Belly Deli in Portland, Maine and got to experience Big G's in Waterville, Maine for a couple decades before it closed and I can confidently say that Marsh Brothers is on a different level. Top notch food. It's worth the small 5 minute detour off highway 89 in Lebanon, NH. If you're driving from VT into NH and you're hungry, you should be required to go check it out. At lunchtime, the parking lot is like a beehive with cars and trucks of people working in the area pulling in and back out with freshly made sandwiches, salads (not green salads, but the kind made with real mayonnaise), and those huge dill pickles that used to stand around in barrels at old time delis. There are individual servings of desserts in a refrigerator, a smattering of fresh produce, fresh breads, snacks, beverages (including beer and wine, and there is even a tiny wine alcove), ice cream, birthday candles and other things you might need once in a while but can't seem to lay your hands on. In the mornings, there are house-made breakfast sandwiches in a warmer so people can grab and go. The people work hard and are kind and friendly. We stopped in on Memorial Day - along with everyone else in the area - to pick up potato salad, seafood salad, and macaroni salad, and they were prepared! It was all hands on deck at the deli, shelves were stocked, and there were extra checkout clerks. Whether it's at the unofficial kickoff to summer or on snowy day, the fine folks at Rum Brook Market are there to make your day just that much more satisfying.

In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, it seemed the foods I ate were more pure and clean than the Americanized Vietnamese dishes I grew up with. The Phnom Penh restaurant and to-go shops serve food which tastes similar to Vietnamese to me. I really like the dishes I've tasted so far, including the fried rice.
