Service was excellent but I was there 45 mins before closing but with 3 tables seating. The restaurant is nicely decorated and you can see the family love, feels like your grandma's house. And as well as clean. Ordered my all time favorite bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast. It was served piping hot, never had I had "hot" toast. Eggs were fresh and thick bacon. Only downside was the potatoes seemed deep fried and bland. Other than that I would return for another meal.

Great spot for breakfast - greasy spoon type with really yummy food. Friendly service and attentive that kept our coffee cups full. Highly recommend the chilaquiles verde - they were excellent. Inside is a bit small, so it can get tight during meal hours and you may have to wait, but they seem to turn tables over relatively quickly. Worth the stop.

Ranch omelet - bacon, bell peppers, cheese, sour cream - so good with some hot sauce!!

Adorable little place with delicious food. We usually get the ranch omelet and the chilaquiles - both are always delicious. The service is always fast & friendly too - the pricing is expectable and reasonable. Great spot for a Sunday breakfast / brunch - just don't wait too late, they are only open until 1 or 2 :)

Excellent. Perfect over medium eggs. Perfect bacon.

Great little place with excellent menu. My eggs, bacon and sausage all perfect. Corned beef hash also tasty. Great atmosphere.

Perfectly cooked cheesy omelette

I mean, it is what it is......True Americana. A tiny diner on a beaten road that provides no frills, stick to your ribs, bad for you yet delicious breakfast foods. It is almost shanty-sized, with a few tables and booths, and a bathroom that looks like a household bathroom, as opposed to a restaurant restroom (including the bottle of windex). There was only one server at the beginning of a Sunday morning, but it was pretty chill, so it made sense. As the restaurant is small, that is all is needed, and all of my needs were met. The server was nice, but not overly, and the ambiance of a quiet, neighborhood Sunday spot was complete. I was impressed with the cheese omelette. Yes.....a plain, cheese omelette. It was mixed perfectly. I am a stickler in that I hate big white spots scattered throughout my omelette or scrambled eggs, which shows that they just splatter the eggs on the grill and mix it then, and its.....well, gross. This omelette was nit rubbery, yellow, and packed with cheese. The pancake was served with oodles of butter, and, as I rarely eat pancakes, to induge in every way possible is the way to go when gorging on breakfast. The only down note, and not holding them to task too much, but their soda's carbonation was out. Rest assured, I will be finding a diet coke somewhere soon. As I did not sleep well, I got here pretty early. It is a small location, and though empty for me, around 9:00 am cars started pulling up. Overall, great breakfast

Country fried steak breakfast with eggs over medium, hashbrowns, and wheat toast.

I've driven by this place for years, and finally got an opportunity to try it out on an early Sunday morning. The diner itself is tiny, and I imagine that later in the morning it would be packed, but I had no issue parking right in front and getting my choice of seat. I noticed a lot of solo diners, and being one myself I felt in good company. Once I sat down the friendly waitress immediately went to my table to ask about drinks, and in the short time it took her to grab my iced tea I was ready to order. The menu isn't massive, but if you're looking for a solid traditional American-style breakfast you'll have many options depending on the size of your appetite. I went with the country fried steak and eggs with hashbrowns. For a sleepy Sunday morning, the ambiance was perfect: quiet country music playing in the background, rustic signs and art work on every inch of the walls, and quiet conversation. I noticed there seemed to be a lot of working men coming in before their shifts or grabbing to-go orders in their uniforms, and regulars who knew their order as soon as they sat down. In a breakfast place I think that kind of clientele says a lot: fast service, good food, good prices. And I can say all my expectations were met. My food came out quickly and everything was cooked exactly as I wanted. The country gravy was really, really delicious. Maybe the best I've had? It had a kind of zingyness that made it feel a little lighter and less cloying on the tongue. I overheard a lot of people getting the Ranch breakfast with biscuits and gravy and I want to try that next time. The portions aren't massive, but I think they are fair for the price. Sometimes you don't want to have to take home leftovers and just want to pay for what you can eat in one sitting (I also imagine that the portions are optimized for those working folks who just want to eat and go to work without worrying about doggy bags or food waste). And the waitress offered me three refills of their clear and clean-tasting iced tea. When I was ready to leave, all I had to do was get up and pay. I think I was in and out in about 45 minutes and I never once felt rushed. Ranch kitchen is a little gem. It's the perfect place to go when you want a solid breakfast but also want to get on with the rest of your day. I can't wait to go back to try out those biscuits and their delicious gravy!

Enter to a place of a time past!

The vibe was very family oriented. We got seated in less than 10mins. Crazy enough it should have felt like it was a busy atmosphere because as we headed to our table it was packed. We knew the front besides the bar area was full so it surprised us as we turned the corner that the restraunt was pretty full. The waitress was so sweet and on top of her game with the drink and refills. I noticed she was the same with her tables near us. The food came out quick as it should, it's breakfast lol. We left bellies full ready for a Sunday nap but really we will go walk it off downtown hahaha. If you're in town, it is worth the visit and prices are just right! Bonus: Clean bathrooms always tell me they care about their staff and guests! And it was clean

This time, three of us ordered burgers, and they were some of the driest, most flavorless burgers I've ever had. Burger Saloon, I'll never betray you again. The experience itself felt unreal. We found out our waitress was on her 4th day working and she literally quit after taking our order. You truly can't make this stuff up. Another server had to come retake our order, and even then things still came out wrong. I asked for no cheese because I'm lactose intolerant, but my burger came with cheese anyway. Out of 7 drinks ordered, 3 were forgotten. One drink specifically requested no sugar on the rim and came out with sugar. I did feel bad for the replacement server. He looked incredibly nervous and was visibly shaking. Despite all the mishaps, we still left him a good tip because it honestly seemed like the whole place was struggling that night.

Since it was a holiday i called to make sure they would be open -lucky for us! Clearly this is the place locals go to eat because it was steady/ busy. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive--she got the kitchen to prepare our friends enchilada dish topped off with 2 eggs over easy and topped with chopped lettuce & tomatoes ---just the way she & my friend make the dish at home! Nice that they offer a senior discount (60 & over) with a good size portion that was perfect! 3 of us ordered one of the Mexican style breakfasts that had enchiladas or huevos rancheros covered with their chile pork green sauce which was perfect in flavor & not too spicey. This family run business was well run & the perfect meeting point to get a feel for the hospitality of the business & cute downtown preparing for a 4th of July day that would not be too hot! Some dishes were too salty, some were too bland, very greasy. The flavors had all one dimension so I quickly got bored of the taste. Many of us couldn't finish our food. It didn't feel worth $15. The service was also disappointing. It took us a half and hour to get seated and an hour to get our waters. There's apparently only one waitress ever who seemed very overwhelmed and unhappy to be at work. It also took a while to flag her down to ask for the check. The ambiance is also eerie. The taxidermy is outdated. There was no music. There seemed to be no good airflow in the restaurant. I don't mean to just write a review to be cruel.
