    Brisket burger special

Love this place! The food is great, customer service is amazing and they have live music! Thursday is dollar burger night and they have all sorts of specials!

Found this spot by chance. We were leaving the craps tables and wanted to stop for lunch on the way home. Hopped on yelp, and it was 2 miles away! We have driven by it so many times and I never noticed it, I don't know how, but I didn't. We chose to sit outside in the enormous patio area. Lawn and a stage and an outdoor bar. This place gets fun at night I imagine! We had the one way hot pastrami and the cheesesteak. They were out of onion rings, I was sad. The crosscut fries were good but they weren't onion rings;) Service was fine. Dog friendly. Lots of parking. Country music. Lots to look at decor wise. We will be back to try those onion rings and who knows maybe a show. Get this- Thursdays they have $1 burgers and $1 fries!!

That's How We Roll NY Steak Sandwich

Stopped in on the way home from a weekend at Cache Creek and ordered the Steak Sandwich. What came out was the worst steak sandwich I've ever seen or tasted in my life. Undercooked hunks of meat between two buns. What you see in the pic is actually the result of them cooking it more, but it was still raw inside. Beer was cold which is why they get 1 star but the local hillbillies at one end of the bar heckling the female bartender and other patrons ruined even that experience.

I enjoyed their food so much i forgot to take pictures of the actual food. Their cobb salad was AMAZING! Worth every penny. They do have something going on almost daily. Atmosphere is great. Super friendly staff. Drinks were supe strong. Def will be back. On thursday they had specials of 1$ burger and fries or 5$ for fries burger and 2ribs. So worth it and was super tasty!

Classic American type of place- unpretentious, come as you are and just enjoy yourself. We have been here multiple times, when I first learned how to ride a motorcycle, this was my first "road trip" destination. They have a full bar, a huge outside space suitable for large groups or small ones. There's also a stage outside for events. I have just realized I have never been actually inside - the servers come outside to you. There is an inside seating area from what I can tell but the outside is so nice. My most recent visit the server France took care of us. She has been here since my first visit and does a good job taking care of her customers. She didn't bat an eye when I asked for my sauce on the side and extra lettuce for my sandwich instead of a bun. Very cool of her to accept my picky- ness and not make me feel bad for my requests. The bloody Mary's were so cool! Look at their little faces the benefit of a Bloody Mary is to have a snack and Road Trip provides just that! Good mix and a nice drink with a healthy amount of nibbles inside. My sandwich was good and Paul's fish and chips were delicious. The homemade ranch *perfect* Thanks France and thanks Road Trip! See you again.

Two burger combos and a side of $1 burger and fries for the baby

Went here on Thurs to try the $1 fries and burgers. Great for our kids meals . We also had excellent burgers. The waitress was nice enough to give my baby a one house onesie

    The very funky exterior

3.5 star rating This funky off the beaten trail type 'roadhouse' is eclectic, fun, and quite an interesting place for a meal. It is rather large, with indoor and outdoor seating. Coming at lunch, the place had a lot of business. We sat outdoors as the weather was quite pleasant. There's a variety of seating, and we settled into a long picnic table with chairs that could handle quite a few people. Menus were brought right away, and the highlight was the service - very friendly, personable, and accommodating. Plus, it is efficient for both the kitchen and getting served. They are really on top of it here. The menu is fairly standard lunch fare, with primarily burgers, sandwiches, and salads. I chose the One Way Hot Pastrami sandwich with my choice of onion rings. This was washed down with a root beer in a large disposable tumbler. The sandwich was just OK and very difficult to eat. I had to fork and knife most of it. There was no way to pick it up. It was essentially an open face sandwich. The pastrami seemed fresh and was overwhelmed by a lot of melted Munster cheese and miscellaneous toppings, including mustard. The onion rings suffered in that it was mostly a lot of breading and not much onion. I decided I should have had a salad instead. The food was tasty enough yet basic and ordinary. The whole thing came in a plastic basket, and it felt a bit like a throwback to 50s and 60s fast food joints. I might stop again if I get back in the area, but I would look to another option on the menu.

This huge draught beer is about 32 ounces of frosty deliciousness!

We took a drive up to north Yolo County and found this place by accident. What a find! For starters, the place looks super retro cool. And every person working there was so nice and really helpful. Our waitress was excellent and the food was off the charts delicious. I ordered a draught beer and was asked "Regular or tall?" Naturally, I said tall. It was a massive frosty mug. It reminded me of a beer in a Bavarian beer hall. The smoked brisket was hands down the best BBQ beef sandwich I've ever had. I'm comparing it with the very best I've had in Texas, Kansas City, Tennessee or down in the Deep South. These guys have set the bar high! My wife had a Cobb salad that was equally perfect with the house made ranch. It was about an hour's drive and we will absolutely go back. They have live music and a $1 burger special on Thursday evenings during the summer...can't wait.

    Homemade Potato Salad

Easy 5 stars! Out exploring and wanted to find a place with real hamburgers. Found it and more. The Spare Tire Burger, med rare, was perfect in taste and presentation. It was really the best I have had a long time. Homemade potato salad on the side with iced tea made outside patio seating on a warm but lovely day just the best. By the way, there is a good amount of indoor seating around the bar. Walls inside are well balanced with a lot of things to look at. Outside there is a very large patio with lots of shade. My server yesterday was attentive and never short with more ice tea. THANKS!

We had just moved to Winters last year from Hawai'i and have heard so much about this location. When our friends suggested we go there I got so excited about it. The best part of the visit was a personal tour of the grounds at Park Winters from Rafael who is one of the owners. He has got to be one of the most humble and nicest people I have ever met since moving to California. There is so much to see and do if you decide to walk the grounds on your own. I love how they have repurposed some of their buildings with old doors, wooden fruit crates, window frames for picture frames, just so much creativity in this hidden gem of Winters. The owners really put a lot of thought into every detail of their gorgeous venue. Thank you Rafael for taking us on a tour of your beautiful property. You're an amazing host. Our kids had an amazing time and even got a special tour from the staff. Food was pretty good, the menu for brunch is rotational and overall we enjoyed the meal but it was not the high point of the visit. Several of us got the fried chicken and biscuit and it was good with honey but was hoping the fried chicken would have been more crispy. Fries were yummy and salad option was delightful. We sat near misters, which we would probably ask not to for our next visit - little too strong for our eating setup. Overall a beautiful spot and wonderful way to spend a weekend with the family. Nice meal and flowers.
