It's not my favorite Mexican (that is at El Tapatio all the way in Factoria!), but its the best in our area. I wouldn't even waste my time going to the chain restaurant across the street - that food is awful and so is the customer service. Tried this place out because my work friends talked about eating here all the time with her family. I was lazy to cook so here was our chance to try this place. The food we had was pretty good. We came in with no one in sight so it was exciting to have service to ourselves. I asked for the carne Asada burrito but I guess she didn't hear the burrito part. I was wondering why she asked corn or flour tortillas. Meat was tender. Husband had the seafood burrito and ate it all. nephew had #27 and gave good reviews of his meal. Popped in here for a date night with my girlfriend. She works close by and we drove by it all the time. I wasn't expecting the food to be all that good but was surprised. I have always loved this place. Today I was very disappointed. We are in the middle of a pandemic and the wait staff is not wearing their mask properly. It was barely covering his mouth and not covering his nose at all. Made me uncomfortable and I asked for a to go container and left with my food this is really disappointing, It is such a small thing to wear a mask especially when you're dealing with the public. Re-opening after the pandemic. You would think the cook would have more pride sending out fresh and good food. That was not the case over there. Quesadilla was not fried nachos cheese was microwaved. Dropped in here on short notice and was pleasantly surprised. It feels like a family-run restaurant and very authentic. Had a delicious margarita to start, with chips and delicious salsa. Moved on to a combo meal with a taco, enchilada, and tamal. All were delicious! For authentic Mexican food this place is fantastic. read more

I was disappointed in this Mexican restaurant despite what looks like a respectable four star average. The chips that came with the opening of the meal were fine, the salsa was fine too however there wasn't anything necessarily memorable about them. While pondering the what to eat on the menu I saw that they had tostadas and inquired about how big they were. I inquired about how big the Avocado Tostada was and he said it was a pretty large "salad". My ears did catch that but I kind of let it slide. So I went ahead and ordered it. Yes, indeed it was definitely a salad. Now if you know what a tostada is it is a flat corn tortilla shell where you can put carne asada, beans or guacamole on top followed by onions, lettuce cheese, tomatoes...things like that. Often times you can eat these adorable little things with your hands. When I was served I thought to myself, "Where is the tostada?" for the shell was completely covered in lettuce and I didn't reach the shell until just over the middle of the way through. The Avocado was just that, sliced avocado rather than guacamole spread on the shell like how I have become accustomed to. Despite this very unusual toastada and nothing what I pictured the ingredients were fresh so in that regard that was good. Despite that this place just didn't have what I was looking for. Okay, this place is just my favorite. Where to start? The freshly fried hot chips and two kinds of salsa, including a cabbage and chili salsa that is truly truly Mexican pico de gallo. The refried beans are AMAZING here; the lunch specials are way affordable; the food servers are friendly and helpful; the music is real honest-to-goodness contemporary Mexican music that is cheerful and festive. It's clean, comfy, homey, affordable and delicious. The spinach enchiladas are a creamy concoction bound to add five pounds to your waistline, but worth it for the flavor. But if you're watching your weight they have ranch style beans, and soft corn tortillas you can get to cut calories. My whole family loves this place. It is our comfort place to go. Also, my PTA girlfriends meet here for lunch OFTEN, even choosing to celebrate our bithdays here. I JUST LOVE IT!!!! read more

As you will see from older comments back, Ramone made this place 5 star service. He made every customer feel like extended family, made the best drinks around and would make you think he owned the place because he loved his job and customers so much. He no longer works here, and ever since he left, this place has gone down hill. The drinks are no longer memorable and the service has suffered (that's an understatment). My father and I have gone here countless times in the past. It was one of our favorite places. Unfortunately we will never go back to this place. Excellent! Who knew you could find a great Mexican restaurant in a strip mall next to a Safeway? Everyone in our large party was satisfied with their meal - even those that "like" Mexican food (instead of "loving" it like me). We were in on a not so busy Saturday afternoon and the waitstaff, while not super fast, were polite and accommodating. Our food was fresh, hot and very tasty, and the portion sizes were huge. UPDATE: I wound up admitted to the hospital with food poisoning, and was immediately admitted to Labor & Delivery. 5 months pregnant, and I went into early labor due to severe dehydration. I was sold from the minute I sat down - fresh, hot chips and two kinds of (actually spicy) salsa that were replenished whenever we asked? Awesome. Our group of seven included two boys under 10 and all of us were starving after spending hours watching the boys play football. As far as I could tell, there were no complaints from anyone - empty plates and full bellies all around. Two food notes: 1) the pollo enchilada with tomatillo sauce is the only thing besides the chips and salsa that I ate, so it's the only dish I can comment on, but it was perfect. Only get two enchiladas if you have a huge appetite because one was more than enough! 2) my youngest nephew ordered nachos off the kid's menu (nachitos, I think it was called). It was basically just melted cheese over chips, kind of underwhelming and not the healthiest choice for a kid, if you ask me. There are a couple of Mexican restaurants in Milton and we have been here a few times. I have not rated it before but it has consistently been at best a three star. Today it started with very slow service. NOTE - it was not busy and this is not un-typical. Next they gave us the wrong meal and had to do it over. Ranchitos! Somehow i always manage to call it Rositas. Anywho... Walking in, the atmosphere is sort of what you expect - a mexican themed restaurant. Lots of tropicalish greenery and, of course, parrots. Lots of windows letting lots of natural light in, which is nice. So we get to our table, which we reserved, and right away the server/host does a good job of getting water. Their cups look a little faded which sorta deterred me from drinking water... Service is a 2.5ish star. Not too bad bad but not excellent. The server didnt put too much attention to the intricacies of our tables order. I.e. he messed up one of our guys' order. He was right away to fix it... But again got it wrong. So we just left it alone cause it was no big deal. The food. I do really really enjoy the food here. Thats what brings me back. Their table chips and salsa is delicious. Chips were warm and tasted fresh. The two types of salsa were on point. Had a good spicy kick to it and a good balanced taste. I got the chicken en mole. Not only did we experience the most incredible, most delicious Mexican food that we have ever tried, but we had been approached by the sweetest and most kind owners, who have put their whole lives into making this restaurant one of the BEST places to eat, and they made sure their guests feel welcome, as if they are at home.
