Awesome place! The wine is delicious, the workers were friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We went on a Saturday and ended up staying over four hours. Despite them being busy, we were able to find a quiet stop to sit and relax. We were impressed with the hay ride and free wine tastings. The food was good as well and less expensive than other wineries. On top of all this, we were very impressed that we were given free bottles of water (which is very necessary on a hot day). We will be back often. I only wish they were open during the week. read more

If you are in the area, make sure to visit Rancho Guejito vineyard! The grounds are beautiful, the wine is good, and most importantly the staff is super friendly, welcoming and kind. This is a great vineyard for families with young kids (we came with our two young kids 3 and 8), but also a wonderful place for anyone, there were families, young couples, seniors, everyone was having a great time. The vibe is relaxed and chill. You can bring your own food but there is also yummy food for purchase (burgers from their own cattle!), There is live music, a lovely hayride through the fields, our guide during the ride was very nice and informative. This place was great!! But the reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the wait for the hay ride. So my wife, toddler and I arrived at 1130, and the staff behind the bar told us that the hayride starts at around 1 and would let everyone know when it's time to line up for it. So we decided to wait so we could enjoy it but then a tour bus shows up with at least 20 people and they alll got drinks from the bar then went straight to the hayride. There was plenty of families waiting for the hayride but they went on it before any of us that were there first. I asked the staff behind the bar and they said they forgot there was a tour coming in and that they get it ahead of us people who didn't get a tour. I would go back to this place but I would DEFINITELY ask questions about the hayride first read more

Beautiful grounds. The grassy areas were plentiful and full of children, which I'm not a fan of at a winery, but there is ample room. Everyone was very kind and the hay ride around the grounds looks fun. Their wines were really awkward. No balance. No structure. I'm not sure if pairing them would've helped. The nose of each was fairly similar. Strong mustiness and being unfiltered, the swirl was unimpressive. There was zero brightness on even the youngest of wines. We each purchased a tasting so we could try 10 different wines. Their Pinot, made with sourced grapes from Santa Barbara, couldn't even find a win there. The rest of their wines are primarily estate grown. Like i said. Lovely friendly folks and grounds. If you don't expect much from their wines, you're good to visit. read more

I had my birthday party here and had about 30 to 40 people show up and they were so accommodating! This was a most perfect place for a get together :) The best part was is that I didn't have to do any entertaining, I could just enjoy myself :)From the ample parking, to the inexpensive food they bring in every week, to the hay ride, to the free wine tasting on the hay ride, to everything in between, it was perfect! I took my family to a Leap Day cupcake class with wine and it was SO fun. We ended up staying hours after the class and enjoying the day. There are truck "hay rides" through the property and a beautiful lawn area to relax in and let the kids run around. There was food for purchase and that was yummy. And there was great live music! Couldn't get any better. The class included 6 delicious cupcakes w the decor, instruction from the great baker, Jenn, and generous wine pours during the class-all for $25! $15 for kids (just the cupcakes and class, no wine!) We had several friends join us for the class and we all can't wait for the next dessert class! It's a great deal and tons of fun for everyone. It was a unique and wonderful family day. We were very pleasantly surprised on our first time visiting Rancho Guejito Winery. Beautiful setting with lots of open space and grassy areas to set down a blanket or sit at one of several picnic tables. After our $10 tasting we went on the covered hay ride through the vineyard with a tour guide who talked about the different wines as well as future plans of a restaurant, retreat and a larger tasting room. The ride is about 30 minutes and includes free tastings It's pet friendly and they also have a couple indoor and outdoor games like oversized Jenga and Connect 4. The day we went they had a special for a free BBQ with a $10 wine tasting so that was really nice. We will definitely be coming back read more

What s pleasant vineyard! We usually go to a different vineyard but decided to try this one as we had heard good things about it. We celebrated my mom's birthday at the Vineyard and it was such a lovely place to be. The staff was very nice and pleasant. We got to take a hayride and learn about the Vineyard, the estate and the history which was really cool. We are allowed to bring our own water and And nonalcoholic drinks which was pretty cool. They also had pizza and it was awesome. We drop the kids and they had a ball. The grass is nice and the atmosphere is really great. I'm so glad we found in the vineyard that we can take our family and friends and celebrate different events. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this. After our disappointing experience I was contacted by Hank who asked us to give this place another chance. He explained how they were not prepared for the crowd that arrived on Easter Sunday and how they are working on planning this event better for 2020. So after a couple of months we decided to go back and I can only say WOW!! The service this time was amazing, Nicole was the person that help us out that afternoon and she is FANTASTIC! Wine was delicious as always, we had no trouble using our yelp deal, and there was wood fire pizza that didn't run out by the time we decided to eat and it was only $8 which I think it's a great price for the amount of food you get. We were given a charcuterie plate as a compliment and everything in it was fresh and yummy. My kids had a great time and so did we. In my opinion one of the better wineries around! They are very family (and pet!) friendly and I love the fact that I can bring my kids and wife and relax with a glass of one of their delicious wines while my children play with the various lawn games they put out. They have plenty of parking, delicious food from one of the many rotating vendors they bring out, and the hayrides are the coolest! Depending on the day you go, they have a variety of live music options and the staff working the tasting room bar are very knowledgable and accomodating. Had one of the best wine tasting experiences at Rancho Guejito Vineyard with 9 of my closest friends. We were able to have a picnic while taking in the beautiful panoramic views of the vineyard & mountain sides. We were treated kindly by all the Ranch Staff especially Dominic Rupp. His knowledge of the ranch, and kindness deserves special accolades. He definitely made our experience a memorable one. My favorite wine was the Rose 2016, but definitely recommend tasting all of their selection. Last but not least we went on a sunset hayride, it not only included some more wine tasting, but a serenade. Excellent selection of wines, and there were more than enough servers to ensure that no one was waiting too long to get a fresh pour. I tried a flight of several of their wines, and honestly, none was a disappointment. The only "weird" thing was that in order to purchase pizza from the onsite food truck, you have to purchase a food ticket from the wine bar, and then you turn that ticket in at the food truck. Not a big deal, but it wasn't explained clearly, and I waited in line for 5 minutes at the truck to order pizza, only to be told I needed to purchase a ticket first. The pizza was super fresh, and constantly replenished. At least four or five different varieties were freshly prepared, and they were willing to make some minor alterations to one to account for my weird taste. I will definitely be back. read more
