What fun!! My first time driving golf balls! Great location, located in a beautiful golf course surrounded by lots of trees. This is a great activity to blow off stream, or practice your swing, or take a date, or even your mate. Highly recommend! This driving range is double decker- I prefer the ground level- but next time I'll check out the views on top. There's a snack bar and a food truck very close by. Good food, not expensive.

Good range can get a lil busy but once you're in a bay it's great! They need a better chipping area though.

If you are new to golf ‍, then you know you will be spending lots of time in the driving range to improve your game. This is probably the best driving range in West LA. The place is clean, grasses are well maintained, has plenty of parking and is fairly priced, you could get 100 balls for $10 (credit cards accepted). Also, this place is double-decked with plenty of space between each bay. There will be club rentals if you don't have your own. As a side note, the golf course is definitely picture worthy during sunset ! Overall, I am not going to bash on this driving range just because the place is crowded. It's probably crowded because the place is well run. I have been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. TIPS: If you decide to play on the second floor, please note that only irons are allowed to prevent accidents.

Long hours 6am to 10pm everyday. Vending machine closes sharp 9pm for balls

Tons of free parking out front. I came here in May 2022 Friday night from 8-10pm. It was busy but still no wait for anything at all. The vending machine prices are $7 , $10 and $14. $10 gets you 100 balls. You do have to bring your own clubs here. Every one here is nice respectful and quiet. I've noticed a good amount of players actually just listen to their headphones while they concentrate and play. This place is perfect for beginners to have fun spend time and get some practice in. I'll definitely be back and bring friends and family. It's also nice they have restrooms and benches all around so you don't have to walk far away for that.

They stop selling range balls at 9pm and lights go off at 10pm

Rancho Park is my go to driving range since I live down the street. One thing to note based on reading other reviews is that there is no longer a credit card reader on the ball machine. Make sure to have exact change in cash. If the clubhouse is open, I would recommend buying a range key and loading it up with money. There is a $5 deposit fee for the range key, but you also get between 15-20% off range balls. If you don't plan to buy a range key, you can pay at the clubhouse and they will give you a 6 digit code to use for range balls. Another thing to note, they stop selling balls at 9pm. So make sure to get there early if you plan to get in some much-needed practice.

Beautiful early afternoon at the range. View from one of the stalls.

Two levels: Ground level and Deck. Drivers are not permitted on the upper deck. There is roughly about 20 stalls on the ground level and half that on the upper deck. I usually come in the evenings on weeknights and early afternoon on the weekends. I usually don't have to wait on weeknights but on weekends it gets a little busy. The Golf Ball dispenser excepts CC or you have to get one of their golf pins. $10 for a large bucket. If you are by yourself, a large bucket should do the trick. Huge parking lot so there are ample amount of space. Right outside of the range, there are putting greens for you to work on your short game. There is a club house where you can get food. They also offer classes too if you are just learning the game! Good place to hit some golf balls and relieve some steam!

Normally a nice range but waited 30 minutes past the posted opening time and everything was still closed, which was disappointing.

Nice range. Usually easy access and reasonable rates for 3 sizes of buckets. Mats are in good to decent shape and lots of booths.

    A driving range that doesn't rent drivers...maybe I'm a novice and renting a driver at a driving range isn't a thing?

Monterey Park Golf club is spectacular!…read more The driving range has a system where the ball come teed up from the ground. I don't know any other range in the area that does that. And there are two level. The course is in excellent shape. Greens are well maintained. This is a shorter course 9 holes par 29. Can finish the round in less than 90min. They also have a cafe I am looking forward to trying eventually. There is also a pro shop that is fully stocked with everything: Clubs, apparel, golf gear, and even a grip shop. I highly recommend Monterey Park Golf Course!

My friend and I each got a bucket for $16 and the balls get sent straight to your assigned, automatic bay so no more lugging around buckets and bending over to tee up. The range is clean, well-lit, well-kept, with seating for each bay. Mats are also in decent condition. Unfortunately, we weren't told of a 1-hour time limit when we paid so my friend and I each lost ~25 balls when we were cut off. Perhaps they made announcements about this via the loudspeaker but it all just sounded muffled and I could barely hear. Only found out about the limit when the balls stopped appearing and I questioned staff. Besides that, I had a great experience and will be back with the time limit in mind.

Alhambra golf driving range and course are an excellent place to start learning how to golf…read more The range has a shot tracer that you can connect to your phone to track all of your shots. It can get quite busy during peak hours and especially in the summer. There is also an area to practice short pitch shots and a sand trap. A bucket of balls cost a bit more than the average range but the shot tracer is well worth it. The 18 hole course is a bit better than your typical muni course. Greens aren't in the best shape but they are decent for the cost of the round. There is also a proshop with all you need and more to play a round. I highly recommend Alhambra Golf course!

The biggest issue at Alhambra Golf Course is safety, and it honestly feels like management does not…read morecare to properly address it. The driving range net near the first tee is clearly too short, and from what I experienced, this has apparently been an ongoing problem for years without meaningful changes being made. During my round I was almost hit by golf balls three separate times, including being struck by a range ball on the first tee. There were already dozens of balls scattered around the tee box, making it obvious this is not some rare or unexpected occurrence. A warning over the loudspeaker does not fix an unsafe setup when range balls are consistently clearing the netting. Beyond the safety concerns, the course conditions have gone downhill badly compared to when I played about a year ago. The greens were extremely rough and bumpy, putting felt more like putting on cement than on maintained greens. The layout also feels overly cramped and tightly packed, which only adds to the safety concerns throughout the course. To top it off, my golf cart died before I could even finish the round. Overall the experience felt poorly maintained, overcrowded, and unsafe, which is disappointing because the course used to be in much better shape.

They were also chill about late stays, but its soo far that I really wish they had one in oc area . Also quite pricy but u do pay for the experience. Their top golf cup drink does have decent alcohol but flavor wise is whatever. The cup is plastic and u can keep it but kind of cheap. Mac and cheese balls are decent bite not goopy or too heavily cheesy tasting rather neutral and popable. The platter had a good variety, wings were solid especially the one with sesame, sliders were okay. It takes some effort to balance eating g and getting your runs in to maximize the experience. It can be hard to flag down a server to get service and takes some time. Top golf is really fun in the gameify aspect where even if u suck u can win as long as u suck consistently. I do wish there was a tutorial for someone who never golfed and it is pretty. Definitely not for someone as a professional golf range, but its nice to see the tracking of where it lands and how far so u can adjust. The games are fun too. Its a really good time with a group of friends so I wish it was closer to use the happy hour specials so I could practice haha
