It's nice that it's near the RSF Cars & Coffee. The people are welcoming. There's plenty of outdoor seating, parking, and it's dog friendly. The menu is on the left side, while you order on the right side. I thought that was a little difficult to read while standing in line. The drinks are pretty basic, from what I was looking at I don't think they have any seasonal specials. However they had teas and pastries to enjoy as well. My friend ordered a ~$6.25, Medium Iced Caramel (Sauce) Latte with Oat Milk. He said it had a good flavor and enjoyed it. I tried their $5.25, Small Iced Vanilla Latte with Whole Milk. Despite being on the smaller side, the drink was more milky than I'd prefer it being. However, the taste of the vanilla was nice. The prices being under $7-8 for iced lattes is really nice! Especially in RSF I thought they'd make it more expensive. (Idk first time in the area). If I'm in the area, I'll take another look at the menu and try something else. read more

Besides the high pricing in the drinks that comes along with every slight adjustment or variation, the drinks tastes good and I like that the regular is 2 shots of espresso and the large jumps up to 4 so you can take away shots but don't have to pay more for adding them if you were to get a large. My husband and I visited Rancho Roasters this morning before walking around to the cars for Cars & Coffee (it's perfectly located off the main drag, so it has much shorter line). We ordered a Sweet Bee and a Cinnamon Roll Latte. Both were perfectly crafted and delicious! I'm looking forward to visiting again and this time trying their vegetarian breakfast burritos and their vegetarian protein bowls (I saw a spirulina & fruit one and an acai one). read more

Awesome little coffee spot in Rancho Santa Fe. They have a great selection of drinks and make a really nice Dirty Vanilla Chai Latte. There's some outdoor seating if you want to stop for a bit, otherwise you can park in their customer parking area and just grab your drink and go. The staff is super friendly and I love stopping here on my way to Del Mar. read more

I have to concur with the other reviews - this place is a great hidden gem. I was in the area and really craving a cold brew and found this little shop to try. My barista was so nice and friendly, they use Dark Horse coffee which is DELICIOUS, and they had so many options for a little business district shop. A lot of cool ideas for drinks including lavender, matcha, a caramel chai!!! I will definitely be back to try some other drinks. read more

I love this coffee shop. Josh is my favorite. He always remembers my drink, my name, and greets me with a friendly face. I love that kind of customer service. Customer for life. Went for the first time today and I loved it! Is it rude to say it's so much better than the other coffee shop in town? I got a cappuccino and it was perfect! They know how to foam the milk properly (I've worked as a barista for a while). For some reason most coffee shops nowadays don't seem to know how to foam milk anymore. Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte. If you love a cherry mocha or are looking for coffee in the design district, definitely come through!

Coffee here is so good, but the service is pretty slow. There have been multiple times where it has taken a VERY long time for my order to be prepared, when I am the only one there! Because of this, there have been a few times where I've made the drive there, but ordered anything because there has been 2+ people in line and I didn't have enough time to wait.
