First time customer. Food was amazing, staff was helpful and friendly (that means you Cheryl!) parking sucked a little but the service was fast and the restaurant was clean. With so many options for healthy food in the area, the bf and I settled on Parakeet Cafe. I like the fact that they have so many healthy options available. I ordered the Parakeet Bowl with chicken and the Strawberry Matcha Iced Latte with Oatmilk. The carrot salad was the only thing I liked in this bowl. Chicken was dry and rice was underdone. As for the strawberry matcha, I mainly tasted the strawberry puree with barely any taste of the matcha. The milk kept separating, so you had to keep stirring it to keep the drink incorporated. The bf ordered the Best Burger Ever. Definitely has a cleaner taste than the burger I had at a different spot. This was just okay for me. For dessert, we ordered the salted brown butter chocolate chip. We couldn't taste the brown butter and the chocolate chips were super large chunks that when warmed, it gets all over you. Perhaps smaller chocolate chips so it's not so messy. The ambiance is airy and open, which I liked. A casual but upscale fast casual restaurant that missed the mark for me for this visit. My friend and I came here on a Sunday around 1 for brunch. There was a little line but it moved quickly and the servers were friendly. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I got the rancheros and my friend got the burrito. The portions aren't huge but it was definitely satisfying and not overly heavy. As far as vibe and the inside, I actually visited a few days prior for a meeting and the ambiance and vibe is what made me come back. It was my first time having the food here after a recommendation from others! The service was also pretty nice. The food came out quickly and they took our orders quickly. There was a little bit of a line but it went by fast. They had fill your own water, which is definitely a plus for me as I drink a lot of water I enjoyed their chicken pesto sandwich but I thought there was a wee too much bread for the amount of chicken that was on the sandwich. I was a big fan of their potatoes though. The Shakshuka was alright. I wish there was more bread here(we used the extra bread from the sandwich. It was a bit yogurt heavy as well. Parking was also pretty simple as it is in a larger plaza. Overall, this place was alright! If you want some light breakfast/lunch food, I would recommend it! read more

My husband ordered the breakfast croissant & I ordered eggs w/ mushrooms on GF sourdough toast. My husband said his sandwich was good. My eggs were fine, but the bread wasn't toasted. I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed each experience here. I normally come here to study and although it's normally busy, I never have a hard time finding a table. I usually get the Honey Cinnamon latte which is always so good and the Cold Foam Matcha latte which is good but isn't the best I've had. They have many food options which is a plus. I had a meeting here on a Thursday morning. Customers came in waves. I ordered a Turmeric Latte (1/2 sweetness) and the savory All I Avo Wanted Waffle. The latte was perfect in sweetness for me. The savory take on the waffle was surprisingly tasty that I look forward to having it again. (The side sauce was a bit too spicy.) The creamy avocado and fluffy egg had the perfect texture. Okay, so this place has the BEST drinks and wellness latees. My favorite is the Blue Magic latte, but seriously try any and all of them! The Honey Cinnamon & Tumeric Latte are other favorites. The staff is super friendly and kind. Store & patio seem very clean and well attended to, looks as though all health protocols are followed, which is a big deal for me! I usually stick with the Mushroom Toast which is my favorite, that feta spread is insane! (Even if you're not a fan of truffle like I was, you might change your mind after trying this!) Our lattes however...I'm so sad they weren't good!! I got an iced salted maple latte and it tasted like I was drinking a iced coffee from Dunkin' or McDonald's (no shade lol) but what I mean by that, it tasted like a watered down vanilla iced coffee and that's definitely not what I wanted out of a $9+ latte I barely took a few sips, it's still full in the fridge and I probably won't drink it. They have the option for unsweetened coconut milk for their beverages, which is something not many places offer.
