The area looked pretty sketchy from outside but inside felt like you stumbled into Mexico. They played bachata on the jute box which I loved and made my wait nice. I came inside and went to order, they inquired if it was to go. I mentioned I wanted to eat here. I was seated immediately. I must say their salsa is delicious. That is the only thing this place has going for it, it's a very spicy taste and you can see as well as taste the fresh ingredients. The taco and burrito tasted like it was missing some flavor, so added the salsa made it somewhat digestible. I would probably not return because the food was not good in my opinion. There are many other Mexican restaurants in the area that can provide a better service as well as food qualify.

We visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch. There was limited parking and people were scrambling to get a table. Once we were seated the hostesses/waitresses were extremely attentive. You can definitely taste the authentic quality of the food in every bite. We enjoyed: - Machacado a la Mexicana - Mini taquitos - Fresh Pineapple juice We will definitely visit this establishment again and try their other dishes

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

I just had the Machacado con Huevo breakfast dish here and it was so incredibly good-So good! it was one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had. seriously.I will definitely be back for this breakfast. I recommend getting it with red and green sauce on the side and a side of tortillas ro make your own tacos with the eggs, salsa and refried beans. just wow! And that tamale needs its own menu. That tamale was amazing. I would get several orders of that soft white tamale by itself to go. And the service was a 10/10. They kept refilling my red and green sauce and kept checking up on me throughout. Ambience was great as always. Its a life changing dish. Thanks Teotihuacan for the great breakfast and great service! The "queso" w/carne seemed to be out of a can-it was orange & didn't have the consistency of real cheese- wasn't really cheese & was disgusting. It was $9.99. I am including a photo of the overcooked beef fajita. A senior citizen can get the all beef lunch fajita special for virtually the same price as the fajita combo here ALL DAY at Pappasitos. It definitely is enough for 2. The meat melts in your mouth. EVERYTHING is better quality than here. Teo charged $1.50 for perhaps 4 or 5 slices of lime to make the happy hour margaritas made with a gross mix drinkable. That's outrageous. It reminds me that I had stopped going long ago when they charged extra for onions on enchiladas. Come on. You don't charge extra for chopped onions! I have never been to another restaurant that does so. Some even provide carmelized grilled onions gratis. I'm convinced that a $15. YUMMY mango margarita at Pappasitos would have given us the same buzz & tasted better than 8 happy hour margaritas here. I used to love the in house made flour tortillas at Teo. Tonight they were tough & uneventful. We arrived on a week night when they were not busy. Neither of the salsas were as good as they used to be.The water pitcher didn't even have ice when they refilled the water. I have absolutely no desire to return. Why would I?

She guided us to our very small community booth. My husband and I are both 5"11 tall and were getting really tired of a lot of restaurants that want to squeeze tables in and people like sardines. Like why??? Wouldn't you want your guest to be comfortable. Anyways We requested if we could get another table that was next to it. She said yes but that we would have to be done by a certain time bc they already had it reserved for another party. We said ok no problem it was 3 hrs from that moment. Our waiter greater us and wanted to tell us a whimsical story about Mexico and the restaurant. We opted for not hearing the story. That's another thing I don't understand why do restaurants want to tell us a story about what ever when people go out to eat to enjoy the food and their own company not to add the waiter to the meal too. Also I'm from Mexico City and my husband and I go to Mexico twice a year I think we know a few things. Btw the waiter was great even though he had a few silly remarks that it was not necessary. The waiter asked us maybe 3 times all thru out the meal if we where in a hurry just bc my husband and I knew what we wanted to eat, we didn't ask for guidance" or the whimsical story. We ordered the moletes and he asked why not the chapulines and we said oh not tonight. We finished the moletes and the waiter stopped by our table and said "oh you thought you could escape the chapulines well they're mixed inn in the sauce. It almost felt like he was waiting for us to finished them to kind of one up us. We just giggled and said oh that's fine we just don't want to actually see them and hear the crunch. He then proceeded to say a fun fact which I forget what it was bc i immediately knew it wasn't true. Anyways we're enjoying our food and everything came out great. I wanted another drink but the waiter was busy which I understood. He finally comes by and I order my second drink. My husband and I start to realize my frozen margarita was taking a bit too long to come by and we notice the waiter is busy. So I decided to let the waiter know to cancel my drink and we could have the check. Again the service was good and we didn't feel any kind of negative towards the place or the waiter. My husband goes to the restroom and I look out towards the window when I suddenly feel someone put their leg almost like sitting next to me I look next to me and it's a guy that was so close to my face we could have kissed accidentally. Without him introducing himself he tells me is everything ok. I was a bit shocked that I was like what? He repeated himself and I responded with yes everything is ok. He leaves quickly and then the server comes by gives us our check. Everything was good and we dont feel any kind of negative feelings towards the waiter or the whole experience. We get it places want to be different and stand out. We noticed a lot of people loving to hear the story, doing the chef menu, and or being guided on what to eat. My husband and I are just not that type of people and therefore we wouldn't go back. But it was good food
