One example: After my first cataract surgery (laser), I was dreading the second. It wasn't painful but the laser was so bright that I was stressed, even though it's a relatively quick procedure. When I shared my concern with Dr M, he helped me come up with a strategy involving the anesthesiologist to help me relax before the actual surgery. The second one went so smoothly and stress free.
