I have had last minute situations with appointments and prescriptions that have been addressed with care and concern. I appreciate the explanations, as well as follow-up discussions, if needed. They take time to be thoughtful about their answers, when I have them. The office is equipped to handle your eye care needs. I have even ordered the glasses that I wear at this office. The doctor was fantastic: knowledgeable, approachable, great banter, and made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of clinical or rushed. Urgent care honestly scared me a bit with some of the things they mentioned it could be, so they referred me over to see the specialists here. That's when I met Lindsey Van, and just talking to her immediately made me feel more at ease. She was extremely patient, took the time to answer all of my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. Turns out it was just a scratch that likely happened in my sleep. One example: After my first cataract surgery (laser), I was dreading the second. It wasn't painful but the laser was so bright that I was stressed, even though it's a relatively quick procedure. When I shared my concern with Dr M, he helped me come up with a strategy involving the anesthesiologist to help me relax before the actual surgery. The second one went so smoothly and stress free. I've found all of his office staff to be kind, considerate and professional. Always. So grateful for this practice.

It would help if patients were clearly informed ahead of time that after a certain amount of lateness, they should reschedule instead of driving there unnecessarily.
