The pescatore was ok. A bit light on the seafood and under seasoned in my opinion, pasta was cooked properly. Dessert was good. We would likely return.

I looked at the pictures online and loved the outdoor ambiance with the string lights and expected the food to provide that same level of excitement as they claim to be authentic Italian cuisine. Since this was a private event the appetizers and desserts were family style while your main dish was your own entree. The bruschetta was great! The right amount of tomato and olive oil without making the bread soggy which is a hard feat on its own. The calamari was made from frozen to my dismay, you can tell by the breading and the fact that there were no tentacles. I opted for the bolognese pappardelle. I was expecting thick wide and long noodles but they were thin and overcooked so almost mushy. Additionally the sauce had no flavor, it honestly tasted similar to chef boyardee that I had when I was a kid. My husband got the salmon and it was perfectly cooked, moist, and the caper lemon sauce really enhanced the flavor. The servers also seemed a bit frazzled with such a large party but after a bit they found their rhythm. Overall, this restaurant really missed the mark on some dishes which is why I am only giving 2 stars.

There was no understanding that my wife, son, and I would be sat at a table with a family that took up two tables, making the comments from the family very uncomfortable, as they talked about us behind our backs. I received a call from the restaurant confirming there were three in my party prior to Easter, and was never told we would be sitting with strangers. When we were first seated, the family opposed, my son and wife do not fare well when having to sit with strangers causing anxiety and a family dinner that was more moody and argumentitive than enjoyable. I would have normally given the restaurant a 5 star review, but to create a chaotic situation without notice is unforgivable. I cannot say enough nice things about the wait staff though. Even with all the complaints, they were pleasant and attentive.

We went just for a few appetizers but always look forward to the bread basket, the roasted peppers and sharp provolone and roasted garlic. My husband ordered the buffalo cutlets and fried mozzarella and I ordered the mussels in white sauce ( my fav) and a special eggplant appetizer tower which was fried eggplant Ricotta spinach and prosciutto in a pomodoro sauce. absolutely delicious!

I love that dinner comes with soup, salad and that delicious garlic bread that's impossible to stop eating. My daughter raved over her minestrone soup. The first visit I had delicious creamy Italian chicken soup. I'd order extra just to take home. Appetizers of crostini topped with burrata and prosciutto were very good. Simple and tasty. Maybe next time I would ask for a drizzle of balsamic over everything. The husband inhaled his meatball sub and complimented the crispy and light rolls. Meatballs got rave reviews as well as the baked pasta. I tried the chicken cutlet with bruschetta and burrata. It was served on top of spinach and a side of pasta. Dessert of a dark chocolate cake was dense and sweet. Portions are huge. Really good service. Enjoyed this experience and felt our money was well spent.

This is the place to go nowadays to get bang for buck. With every meal, you'll get the best ever garlic bread (ask for more, they'll happily bring seconds); that creamy Italian soup is to die for - gimma a gallon; and a small spring salad with your choice of the usual dressing. For our appetizer, we split one that was a toasted crostini with a slab of creamy burrata and a generous sliver of prosciutto. It could have used a drizzling of balsamic vinegar but it was delicious. Came with 3 pieces. By the time my actual main entree arrived, I was fully stuffed. My evil plan worked! Load up on the freebies and appetizers, take a few bites of the main, and have a huge batch of leftovers. With a diet coke and tip, this was $42 and easily can be split into two very generous meals.

Hard to find good food in the area and this place knocks it out of the park. I'm happy they added healthier entrees such as Salmon and Pork Chop. Previously I only saw pizza and pasta on the menu, and due to my diet I eat neither. But definitely lower carb selections now. Definitely fresh. Would be nice if they had some veggie-forward entrees or sides like Brussel sprouts or asparagus.

We ordered the Balboa pizza, corn & crab arancini, Caesar salad, the spicy rig and the tiramisu to end the evening. We happily shared everything between the two of us it was more the. Enough food we even took left overs home. Everything was amazing the sauce under the arancini was delicious. The pizza was so soft and delicious and flavorful. Ugh the spicy rig was to die for my favorite of the evening. We will def be returning here again for our date night soon!
