Another great dinner out with friends at this small Thai restaurant right in Washington Twp. Our friend has been coming here almost every week and suggested we try it ... and it did not disappoint! Everyone in our group of 3 couples ... so enjoyed our meals and Tee(?) was a great hostess! They made us feel so welcome and paid special attention to all our needs .. including those of us that liked our "spice" elevated and otherwise. Had been wanting to try this place for a while and ended up ordering takeout on a weeknight. This place definitely lived up to all the 5 star reviews. The pad Thai and crispy pork rolls were delicious. Customer service went above and beyond, and the vibes inside the restaurant were great. This place is a hidden gem. If you want great Thai food from people who clearly care about their customers - this is your destination. Our group of four each had a terrific meal. My green curry was outstanding. The pad thai was one of the best we have had. A delicious fried rice dish and an excellent masaman curry were also had. Our hostess was wonderful, and as first timers they shared with us each a delicious fried banana dessert for free that I assure you we will gladly pay for next time. They also offered us a delicious Thai tea (chilled) before dessert which was also really good. The place is very small - only really seating for 10 people, but it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and again the hostess was delightful. Came here for a little dinner on a Thursday night all the way from Philly, worth the 45 min drive during prime hours, 5:30-6:15, it's fairly new, a cute and quaint hidden spot which is also family ran. Amazing Thai food, had the red curry (mild spice) was not super spicy, just a slight burn. It was creamy, packed with so much flavor, fresh, and you can really taste the love and passion in the food. I got the curry with shrimp, definitely will be wanting it again. A plus is that this place gives you way more curry than most places in philly, so definitely worth the money. My cousin got the Pad see ew (drunken noodles), I usually think pad see ew is meh, especially the ones I've tried in philly restaurants, BUT I LOVED their pad see ew, it's very different from the other ones I've tried. It had so much more flavor, it was sweet, savory, spicy, umami, and a hint of acidic/sour, lots of fresh veggies, and noodles were cooked perfectly. The owner Tee was amazing and so sweet, made us feel like we could be real life friends, she really took care of us, especially when we told her it was our first time and gave us complimentary dessert, lucky elephant banana. The dessert is sweet, ripe bananas wrapped in a wonton (I think) wrapper, fried to perfection, drizzled with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. Hidden gem on Egg Harbor Road tucked away between the ever-popular Liscio's bakery and Pretzel Factory. You really wouldn't know it's there--it's a fairly small space that is easy to miss. Heard good things and have been hoping to find a more reasonably priced--but more authentic--Thai restaurant. And we definitely found it. We ordered Pad Kee Mao with chicken, Pad Thai with tofu, veggie rolls, and Tom Yum soup with shrimp. Everything was delicious. Especially the Tom Yum--which the owner told me is how she would make it for herself or her family. I'm definitely coming back soon for that soup--Tom Yum is one of my favorites and this was one of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to try the curries. Update: The curries are awesome. we were looking on yelp for places to eat and saw this place had good reviews so we decided to try it out. the restaurant was hard to find cause they don't have a sign and the gps doesn't know where they are but we found it after a few minutes looking around. it's a small place, but they have some tables for 2 and i believe 1 for 4. our waitress was SO nice, very friendly and told us everything about the menu items to make sure we got what we wanted. we got the tao hou tod to share and it was really good, the peanut sweet chili sauce also great. i had the tofu pad see ew, it was very fresh and the portion was definitely reasonable. pad see ew is one of my go to's when i get thai and lucky elephant's was up with the best of them. my fiancée had the basil fried rice which was very different from any other fried rice i've had. it came in a sauce but the sauce was really good i wasn't expecting to like it, i honestly might order it myself next time we go. again our server was incredibly nice, she gave us drinks and a dessert to try for free just cause it was our first time there we thought that was so sweet of her. they do have a bathroom as well, it was very clean. overall great experience we will definitely be back soon. read more
