    Elk Steak! Yummy

Have you ever had an elk burger? If you haven't ever tried an Elk burger, then go to Lonigan's and order one. Personally, I really enjoyed their elk bratwurst, which is covered with sauerkraut and ground mustard. Delicious!

Love this place , exceptional customer service, everyone friendly, a bartender that takes pride in his bar and making near perfect cocktails. My fish and chips were cooked to perfection, will definitely return to this hidden gem in Estes park

The elk brat - with a bite or two taken out of it~~

Lonigan's was cool~ it's got a German pub vibe, but I came in specifically because they had an elk brat with sauerkraut that I wanted to try. It was $14ish I think? And it was interesting - looks and tastes similar to a hot dog which I typically don't care for, but there is a distinctive smoky/gamey flavor to the meat which I thought was fun. Overall it was a dense and messy lunch; I was eating and walking and my hands were a mess from the mustard and sauerkraut so plan accordingly, but it's a good size! Can't say I'd have it again mostly just because I'm not a big hot dog person, but it was just about the cheapest form of elk I could find on a menu of the restaurants in downtown Estes.

After a day out hiking the trails at RMNP, we were looking for a meal to cap it off. Lonigan's was the spot we decided on. We had a warm welcome with prompt service. I was impressed with the prime angus steak i had. It came with fries which I could take or leave, however the steak was great. I was also given taste tests between a couple beers which were new to me. This was a good find!

The food was ok... staple pub food. The service was slower than expected. The atmosphere was dark and appeared outdated

Talk about mixed reviews! People either seem to love or hate Lonigan's but I'm somewhere in the middle. While walking around Estes Park, my partner and I noticed a sign advertising karaoke. We went back for it one night after dinner. I had a few Espresso Martinis and a basket of stale chips. Service was great. DJs were great. Karaoke left a lot to be desired. Many people were in the bar but few participated. Mostly guys that were obviously regulars. Overall vibes felt kinda weird, but maybe that's Estes Park! I probably wouldn't prioritize coming back to Lonigan's again.

    Drinks

Amazing food but the bartender Aeyush made it an amazing experience. Fast, friendly, great drinks! Highly recommend.

This spot was the perfect place to recover after 8 hours of hiking through the snow at Rocky Mountain National Park. The mixed drinks were strong, the fish and chips and the chili nachos were tasty, and the server was very sweet. I recommend!

Good burger and friendly bar service. Had vegetarian options that was good. It's a nice place that seems family friendly as well.

The food was really good. The angry Irish music was too much though. It was distracting and loud.

It isn't a super fancy restaurant, though the food could be served at one. The restaurant has a pretty view and soft jazzy music was playing, we didn't need a reservation to be immediately seated and felt like we weren't out of place wearing our sweatshirts that we had been walking around in during the day. My husband really wanted the veal and the elk bolognese and so we split both and we both LOVED the veal. He wants to go home and try to make it ourselves now. Service was attentive and nice. We really enjoyed our meal here and felt like the prices were very fair.

We sat outside which was nice to enjoy the weather, the area is small (seats 16 total) but awesome. All the people we have encountered are very kind and friendly. I ordered the elk bolognase and hubby got the hungry hiker burger. Yes they have a gluten-free pasta here. We received our food we both can say AMAZING! the only complaint is they asked how he wanted his burger and he said medium and it was more medium well but was very juicy as it was smash burger. And my pasta was the best I have had in a very long time. I cannot wait to come back!

The steak was a tad overcooked beyond medium rare. There was a lot of gristle to cut through. The steak knives were not sharp, and made cutting the meat that was a bit tough difficult. It seemed underseasoned. A great steak I'd eat without sauce. This one I should have requested sauce. The baked potato was small. The sour cream was stingy. The skin was tough, as if it had been cooking for a long time. I was really wanting a big baked potato with butter, cheese, sour cream, bacon, and chives. This one was disappointing. My crab cakes were the hero of the meal -- very tasty and moist. The wild game brats were disappointing. It was a selection of several different kinds of game meat, but the pieces were small and too spicy. The cheese on the board had been cut into squares and left out a bit too long. The asparagus was thick and long. Could have been cooked a little bit longer to make them more tender. The brussel sprouts were overcooked. Some people prefer them a little toasted on the outside, though. I didn't like the shrimp sauce. The shrimp were small. There was bread soaked in the sauce that actually made the bread taste bad. The shrimp were not shelled.
