A leader is or appears to be as good as his soldiers and the soldiers will only be as good as their leader. In this case, we have a perfectly running oiled machine from the top down. The phone call at 9:02 am with Jose "Ill hold it for you " Boom, we role into Conover from Charlotte at 4pm. As soon as we get out of our car, Jose was there to greet us. Handed us the keys and said " take it for a spin". We did and we said " we will take it ". Jose took down all of our information and passed it to Don McGee. Another " Get it done " professional. Between the two, they did not miss a beat ! Aside from the car being in pristine condition to begin with, they took it, cleaned it even more, filled it with gas and had us gone in two hours, just as he said. I did not meet the owner but I will tell him this should I get the chance... " Do not lose these men and don't change a thing " Soldiers are only as good as their leader and the leader is only as good as his soldiers. We are proud to say we found, trusted and did business with Jose " Joseph " Martinez and Don McGee at Trading Post Super Store in Conover North Carolina. Nathaniel is an honest man with good candor and integrity. His pragmatic approach allows very little room for biased decisions when dealing with complex situations. Throughout my service experience, he was very informative (keeping me updated and in the loop) responsive, and punctual. I felt heard, understood, and like a part of his Toyota family! I have been a proud Toyota owner for almost 20 years now; I've visited many other Toyota dealerships from Statesville to Charlotte. However, for the past 4 years, Mike Johnson has exceeded my expectations! The staff are always kind, and the waiting area is always clean and feels very warm and inviting. The environment makes the wait not feel daunting. Taking your car in for service can be a bit stressful at times, especially when the technicians come to you at every visit with a long list of needed services, with a few that you kindly decline, only to have them come back a second time with an additional service that you need, causing you to feel pressured and overwhelmed. I have never felt that way at Mike Johnson Toyota, I don't feel like I'm being bamboozled, I know that I can trust that if my tech.     If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid $36,000 cash for a truck from this dealership, and the…read moretransmission failed just 31 days after purchase. That is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality and inspection of the vehicles they sell. A major component like a transmission does not just fail overnight without warning. This makes me question whether the dealership knew about the issue or failed to properly inspect the vehicle before selling it. Now I'm stuck facing thousands of dollars in repairs on a truck I just bought. I trusted this dealership and feel completely let down. Spending this much money, only to have the vehicle become unreliable almost immediately, has been a terrible and stressful experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering buying from here to be extremely cautious and have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing.

    If you follow me, you know I don't give 1 star reviews often. And, I was prepared to give them 2…read morestars based on the initial issue but bumping down to 1 star based on how they handled the issue and then completely ghosted me - both the salesperson and sales manager. Do not trust these folks. Here is the timeline. Tue 3/3 - find a car on their website and inquire about it using their text feature. Thought I was dealing with a human. Asked how much of a deposit was required to hold the vehicle. Was told they would look into it and let me know. Wed 3/4 8:13am - one of their salespeople MJ contacts me about my inquiry. I share with him the deposit question. Wed 3/4 9:06am thru 1:37pm - discussion moves to a negotiation and we agree on a price. Deal is done. Again, ready to put down a deposit. I also spoke to MJ during this time span. Wed 3/4 1:51pm - I am told the car already has a deposit it on it and the words used were "just a little bit ago" - very important per below. See screen shot. I then voice my displeasure and ask that they terminate the other deal. I again try to call MJ, left message he never called me back. So, I call again and get the Sales Manager - forget his name. He must think I am an idiot. I explain the situation and he expresses understanding and disappointment but then... the ridiculousness comes out... he tells me the car actually sold several days ago and MJ was not aware. Come on man.' But, the sales manager commits to looking into the matter personally to confirm the car is sold and promises to call me back. That was more than 48 hours ago and no call back. Thus... the one star. I know stuff happens but there is somehting really shady about how these folks operated and communicated. I will NEVER consider them in the future and I recommend you be very careful if you choose to. Buyer Beware.

    This dealer will show a car to someone else even if you have placed a deposit on it. They also…read moreadvertised the car had no accidents reported when it actually had 2 accidents reported on carfax. (I have screenshots of both the advertisement and carfax). Also, my deposit was refunded but has an incorrect name (I was so in awe, I didn't look while there). The salesman had no compassion or care, just handed me the refund check. Didn't even try to work on a different deal or say, "if we can help you in the future purchase or anything"... I'm pretty sure the other couple looking while we were there paid more and that's why this happened. The car was for a young lady that had been excited for her first car. I had already set up insurance for this vehicle and now I have to deal with getting that situation removed & refunded as well. Money means more than ethics or customer service. I will say, the original salesman "Tony" was very polite and very helpful... unfortunately, this happened on his day off and another man was the one I spoke with today. This is the second time a Paramount Dealership (Volvo) has done something similar. We once purchased a new 2022 Volvo S60 and made full payment. They were going to check something on the car the next day (service had closed already) and we were to pick it up that next day... but when we got there someone's things were in the car and they had driven it around earlier.
