Today I arrived at Randy's nails salon at 6 o'clock it is now 7:48 pm i only went there for a polish dip. He was really loud on the phone and smelled like a whole bar. Very unprofessional and rude. He did a terrible job on my nails and when I said something to him, he got mad and told me that I could leave if I wasn't happy. I've been going to his shop for years and never had he been this unprofessional in my nails, looked this bad. He should wait till after hours to drink. I thought I would try a new salon. This was my first and last visit. The Pedi was done by Randy. I was not asked what kind of Pedi I would like. There was no special salts in the water, no cleaning of the toenails, the instruments and files were not fresh. The Pedi chair was not turned on nor was I invited to use it. The salon needs a good cleaning and decluttering! There was no warm rock massage, and the massage on legs was with a bad smelling oil. He gave me instructions to wait ten minutes before leaving and he left the salon! He never came back to help me leave or take my payment of $32 so another gal did. No tip for Randy! I would not recommend this salon, a Pedi is a treat for me and this was not a treat at all. read more

First time I went in for my disable husband to get a pedicure, as soon as we walk in he said burritos I let go. Next time he just engorge us, this time they spent 15 minutes on him, very short time, and they speak in their language. We were three but they lost out, we are going elsewhere. I went to this shop on this past Monday 2/10/2025. The nail manicurist who was assigned to me was rude & unfriendly. She charged me $5 extra to remove old chipped gel polish from 4 toenails, she refused to file /shape my toenails because she said they were too short. I paid a total of $65.00 for a half done sloppy job for a pedicure & manicure. The previous times Randy's wife had done my pedicure with gel polish and the polish peeled off 2 days later. The quality of their work has gone down to the dumps. I ended up going to a NEW shop close by on the SAME DAY and the manicurist there had to re-clean my cuticles before applying the gel color (how sad). So much for that being said I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RANDY'S NAILS ANTIOCH to anyone. They overcharge, expect a tip and the work performance SUCKS. read more

The people are nice, but they are never on time. I've been here five times now and they are always late. When I call them at 9:00 to ask where they are, they say, "we have a doctors appointment and will be there at 9:30." One time they showed up at 9:45. I am new to the area, and this salon was recommended by my friend. So I decided to stop by and make an appointment and ask about a spot on my nail. I walked in, no greeting. I waited patiently and the man Randy was doing a set. So I asked him if I could make an appointment. He obliged. I am here now. There is a lady here. I walked in, no greeting. Well I decided to get a pedicure which turned out good and it was relaxing with the scrub I got along with it was a little pricey I paid $50 + a extra $15 for gel nail polish so that's $65 and a tip makes it over $70 but what gets me as I was sitting there this younger guy was doing this young girls nails and I hear him telling her well it's going to be $85 go ask your mom for the money go go ask her the girl replied I have the money in my pocket and that's not my mom it was her friends mom that she was there with it irritated me listening and watching him talk to her I felt as if he was getting over and charging her way to much then he starts speaking in his own language to Randy that was doing the friends nails all the reviews are true there way overpriced and there customer service sucks ass read more

Never in my life have I ever had a problem with a nail tech. I went into Randy's in Antioch to get my nails done. he put the tips on crooked I mentioned it was crooked before he got started with the acrylic. so it would be an easy fix this man lost his mind and told me it wasn't crooked. Then proceeded to throw down the tips and walked off. came back said I should go to another shop then refused to take off the tips he put on me crooked. I asked him said I would pay him to take them off. he then said he would not charge me for the tips. I told him first off money ain't the problem your attitude is went from 0-100 real quick you messed up I tried to work with you to fix it and you threw a fit like a toddler. you lost a great client and a great tipper. never will I ever go to Randy's or work with Randy again. yall just don't do it on top of all that it took him 30 mins just to put tips on he kept getting up and walking away to the back ever few mins like he was preoccupied and having a bad day took that out on me. I am not a confrontational person I'm super easy when it comes to my nails you could visibly see the nail was completely off and he was angry I didn't just let it go his attitude is awful. My father went a few days before me to get his toes done and the lady did a good job but Randy also offered my father beer while he was working totally unprofessional. Side note! I've been to this nail salon plenty of times. It was named Cindy, then now it's been changed as I see on Yelp. I can't complain about service because from the moment you walk they greet you, but what I don't like and hate that it's still hasn't been fixed since 1year; their card machine. You are surprised when your half way or about to get started that their machine isn't working, that only cash! If this was my own business I'd update it online and a sign that CASH ONLY! Came in today and needed my previous nails taken off. One of the workers a guy cut my previous acrylic nails off and used a nail clipper to try and get my nail that was underneath then with another tip tried scraping off the acrylic nail that was on top. It hurt so much that I asked about taking it off how other nails usually do, do filing the nail and putting in a cotton pad in a bowl. He got up angry, talking (I didn't understand what it was) then came a put a bowl with alcohol and acetone no cotton and dipped my nails. Of course after three minutes I could feel my skin drying. I refused to stay any longer and the man tried to say that in all nail salons they do this. I got up and tried to pay what was "owed" for the bad service. Good thing they said it was okay. Now I am left with a aching nail. BAD SERVICE!!!! As shown in picture the ring finger was the one taken off the "fast" way. No stars if I could!!! read more

Went to get my Natural nails done on a Thursday. They immediately notified me cash only when I walked in. I asked for French tip, didn't use stencil. Instead they paired the whole top of my nail and "cleaned" the line to look like a French tip. Asked multiple times to make the line smaller it was too chunky looking. Didn't understand or didn't care to listen. I thought whatever I'll go try again. One of my nails was slightly broken still savable. Went in today asked for a acrylic overlay. He did a terrible job on the prep he SANDED off ALL the nail polish instead of sanding the top coat and using remover. I asked if he could stop sanding my nail so much it's going to make it too thin. He says "ok you ok no hurt" , he then buffed the nail so much with the sander that my nails are paper thin now after taking a break from acrylics after having them for over seven years. I was noticeably irritated and they told me to let Randy do my nails. Then as he's doing them and I'm explaining my nails are too thin now he got upset and and snarled two more times it cash only. Then he asked me if I had a problem and if I do I can go. I got up and left I hope NOBODY get treated like this at this "salon". Now renamed Randi's Nails near Safeway in Antioch. I went here because my shop closed during Covid.  I had gone to the same shop for 25 or more years.  That shop was professional and did great work. My one star rating if because they don't have a 0 rating. My first visit at Randi's I was quoted one price and at the end told it was more.  The explanation I got was not too many of them speak English well. Not only was it more,  but then tells me it was cash only.  I wonder why.    As Alma stated in her review, I ended up with not enough money to pay him because they increased the fee, and told me cash only after services were rendered.  I was then also told to go to Safeway, then come back and pay them more.   I was cut under my nail accidently with their clippers more than once, got fungus twice.  I never had fungus  before with my old shop. You will be told you have an appointment but don't believe you do.   I made an appointment with someone specific, and when I got there they gave my appointment to a walk in and asked me to wait.  "Just a few minutes" I was told.  I was on a timeline that day and told Randi that I had an appointment and would not wait while my appointment was given to someone else.  He wanted me to wait through her pedicaure AND MANICAURE,  about 2 hours after i was told just a few minutes!  When I complained his response was they would get to me when the walk in was finished.  Another lady walked in and sat right down and he still left me  waiting.  No apologies, no effort to make it right.  His treatment of me was rude and unprofessional.   After questioning him I was treated entirely different and it wasn't good. The worse day was when it was me and one other client.  He was talking to her in lewd and nasty way and kept laughing thinking he was funny.   I  thought it would end, but instead he called a buddy and put him on speaker and they both continued with their sexually harrassing, filthy language.   My experience and opinion with this shop is, it is truly the worse business I have dealt with for any service, and they charge way too much.UsefulFunnyCool read more

Called in advance to have a fill and pedicure. Randy?- said no problem, come in. I asked if the card machine was working and he said after 2yrs mind you, Still broken- cash only. So I stopped at the ATM and made it to the shop - 10 min after our conversation. I came in went to the restroom and when I stood by his work station to be seated in the chair- he stated can I come back tomorrow, the shop was closing- wth!!
