It used to be great!! It used to be a quiet place to go. And we were friends with a lot of seniors there. Then the bar was over run by young people. That's fine. You can't stop people from going where they want. But Randy can't you have a karaoke night for seniors? read more

Came here for a trivia speed dating event (it was more interesting than it sounds). It's a standard bar with standard food. One of the regulars there suggested I try the bar's interpretation of the Big Mac called the Big Randy. Although sweeter due to the choice in pickles and missing the middle bread slice the sandwich checked out. Interior is what you would expect of a sports bar or pub: long bar, few sets of tables, a game on any of the given screens, etc. read more

This is a great bar! Food is good... I've had the pizza,burger and club sandwich on all. The draft beer is always fresh. I've been to some bars where it tastes off and they argue with you when you send it back. I heard the owners a gem but I haven't met him. read more

This is my neighborhood watering hole, and it's perfect. We love watching Tigers games, so we stop by for a pitcher of LaBatt and a bowl of Chili and fries. Nothing beats the amazing AC on a hot day! The food here is surprisingly good for a Dearborn Heights dive bar. Been here multiple times and the one constant is the good food- the pizza is actually really good- they apparently bring in the dough fresh from somewhere and load up on plenty of cheese, a homemade sauce (supposedly) and lots of good toppings. Also, if you come, order the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. I know they're probably the standard frozen breaded mushrooms you can get anywhere, but for some reason, the mushrooms here are delish. read more

I went to Randy's on a Friday night, the place was packed, however the owner Randy help me get seats for four people, we ordered walleye because my wife's friend heard it was really good, it was except I was surprised at the portion, they were huge. Good value for the buck. I will return again just for the walleye, plus Randy was a great host and made sure the servers were on their mark. It was a fun night, we hope to return next year. It's a dive bar with a pool table. Nothing new. Quite large bar seating area and in the summer there is outside seating available. People seemed friendly enough. Nothing exceptional, but nothing really really horrible either! read more

Great place to watch sports. Very baseball knowledgeable, baseball is randys forte. He will talk baseball any time, he's amazing with stats and players from early 1900's to the present. His food menu is from burgers,soups,salads pizza, sandwiches,try the coney island pizza. Drinks are fair priced,and all types of liquors. Wait staff are knowledgeable on mixing drinks. Fabulous food, especially the walleye dinner on Friday's. The staff is great, the place is warm and full of fun, fun and more fun. Prices are reasonable. Randy is the ultimate schmoozer with the customers, they love him, great guy. This is a great neighborhood dive bar! It's been around as the Robindale Bar before Randy's took it over and remodeled it. Randy's has very good prices, bucket's of beer, and for a neighborhood bar, the pizza and burgers are really good! Service is typically pretty good but can be inconsistent at times. Overall, great place to watch a game! I do miss the old shuffle board table that used to be there though. read more

Let me first say this is 4 stars for a divey bar, not comparable to a 4-star restaurant. They have a Big Mac knock-off called the Randy Mac that was really tasty. My group got a salad with meat (chef's salad?) which was huge and really good, as well as the 1/2 lb ground round if I remember the name correctly (it was a larger burger than mine). Cons: they didn't have hard root beer "because they hadn't received it yet" and that's my main drink so I was dry most of the evening. It was trivia night so they should've been fully stocked, imo. Last night at Randy's I checked my Keno tickets and had won $144. When I went to cash them in the Barmaid said I won $35. I told her to check again and she did and T got my $144. It could have been an honest mistake or she just didn't realize I had pre-checked my ticket. I would be careful playing Keno there. read more

Let's start with the good news first... I visited Randy's on a Sunday night to meet a friend. Nice atmosphere, great DJ, good prices and fun patrons. Now the bad news, when I arrived, I sat at the bar for 15 minutes without being noticed by the THREE barmaids. It took a customer shouting and pointing at me for one of them to notice. Two out of the three drinks I had were made incorrectly. I didn't say anything because it took so long to get them. I figured I would just suck it up. How hard is it to make a vodka and water? As the night progressed the bar staff grew more intoxicated and began screaming at one another. They didn't announce last call, yet when 2:20 rolled around they started telling customers who had been spending and tipping all night to get the f**k out, and to f**k off. I don't usually feel good about giving money to people who scream expletives at me. I recommend a total restaffing of Randy's Bar. It could be a cool place without the horrible service, with the exception of the guest bartender who came in to bail the girls out. He was terriffic. read more
