Looking for food after 8pm can be tricky but this little place hit the spot. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the combo of American, Indian and Middle Eastern was a hit!! We got chicken tikka marsala, lamb kebob, mango lassi and buttered naan. All of it was great. Zero complaints. Food was hot and fresh and they didn't make it too spicy (I'm a wimp) so I was actually able to eat it!! I'll absolutely be back. We got a tip to try out this new Indian restaurant in our neighborhood. We decided we would run in and do a little takeout. We are so happy that we did... Suki, The owner gave us some great suggestions on some dairy free dishes that we could try. Even though the chicken tiki masala was not a dairy free item entirely, it was one of my favorites. We really enjoyed the lamb meatballs with all the different sauces that they provided. We had a crispy spinach appetizer that was very yummy and of course the garlic naan bread... we look forward to going back and possibly dining in and enjoying some of their other dishes. It reminded me of orange chicken but obviously no chicken and cauliflower instead. I wish it came with more quantity because it was very good! The saag paneer with chicken was a pleasure, especially with the extra garlic Naan we ordered. The chicken Tikka sandwich was extremely enjoyable... A brand new addition to the community with amazing food and even better company running the show, they take traditional Indian dishes and put a nice Cali fusion on them for a superb taste! Be sure to grab a bit of everything for the full experience! Starting off with appetizers, we got the Lamb Meatballs which were super rich in flavor and had an amazing sauce drizzle that you could immerse them into for an amazing umami! The Crispy Masla Shrimp was perfectly fried on the outside but still very soft and tender on the inside for an amazing bite (Be sure to squeeze some lime on there!) The Gobi Manuchurian stole the show for me though, as the tangy spicy sauce and mix of garlics really brought out the cauliflowers and had me finishing it all before the entrees came in! Moving onto the main show, they had some amazing BBQ Chicken Wings topped off with tamarind for a sweet kicker to the already amazing flavor! The Habanero Mango Chicken was beautifully plated and made for a nice compliment with the peppers and salad included. Last but not least, they had the traditional Chicken Tikka Masala that didn't disappoint - super creamy yet retained the decadences of spices for a delicious chicken curry! With all this sweet and savory action, I really enjoyed their Marigold (Passion Fruit) and Butterfly Pea Tea drinks for a refresher. Delicious. Fast and excellent service The food is amazing-- not the most authentic Indian food in the county, but this place does not claim to be. It has a fun, unique Indo-Cali flare that makes this food special. All the delicious flavors are still there, but for example, the paneer is grilled () before being placed into the paneer tikka. I've never had that anywhere else. We walked right in on a Saturday at lunch time and were sat immediately. We had our food in under 10 minutes. Can't wait to return! This is a splendid place to have some gourmet style Indian food. Everything in the menu is carefully curated and plated which speaks to the quality. There are no food colors and excessive heaviness in the dishes. I tried the crispy green chaat which was a burst of flavors, fresh ingredients and really lifts up your tastebuds. Gobi Manchurian is pretty good as well, less batter, more flavors. I lived the chicken tikka masala, the curry was perfect. It felt like eating homemade Indian food which is not very common among Indian restaurants here as they continue to butcher this dish but this one is going to bring me back here often! Lovely Indian restaurant with an American fusion of flavors. Usually I have to go all the way to Artesia in LA for quality Indian food so I was very happy to find this place in OC so close to home. We started off with the pani puri and gobi manchurian appetizers. These are childhood staples for me and Rangeen's tasted incredible. Perfect blend of salty and sweet in the pani puri and the manchurian hit the spot for my Indo-Chinese cravings. The lamb curry and naan were not that good relative to what I've had before locally. The lamb curry specifically had large chunks of fat on almost every piece, not sure if this is normal but it was pretty gross. Picture attached. They also don't honor the free Marigold drink Yelp check-in for takeout. Sukhi is incredibly responsive and her attention to detail stands out in all aspects of the catering. We wanted a mix of classic and more modern Indian dishes, and Sukhi created a menu that fit our vision perfectly, including fusion desserts like ras malai tres leches and gulab jamun cheesecake. She even offered ideas that made the entire menu better than we had first imagined. On the day of, the Rangeen team arrived on time for set-up and prep, and the presentation was spot-on, making everything look as good as it tasted. All of our guests (including several foodies) raved about how fresh, tasty and unique each of the items in our spread was. Given the high quality of both food and service, we also felt their pricing was very reasonable. We highly recommend them as a restaurant and caterer and would love to work with them again. Found this delightful Indian food place near our daughters home in Laguna Niguel. We were visiting from Oregon. Welcoming owner and great food. Starting with the homemade fennel chips and fennel infused yogurt! POW! Followed up with entrées of habanero mango chicken kebab, lamb kebab, pineapple tawa rice and garlic naan all were to die for. I paid $18.31 for this food , as you see in the photo barely you find ckicken in the souce, taste was good but they cut chicken to smaller pieces and very less! "Indian cuisine with a California spin"--perfect description for the scrumptious dinner we enjoyed here! We really loved our meal here and would highly recommend Rangeen if you're looking for Indian flavors but some non-traditional dishes. We loved pretty much everything we tried: -Crispy Green Chaat - MUST get! This is the closest dish I've ever had to the famous Palak Chaat at Rasika in Washington, D.C. So good!!! -Lamb Meatball Sandwich w/ masala fries - this totally hit the spot! I would've liked a bit more lamb, but this was super flavorful especially with the chimichurri. The fries were perfectly crispy, seasoned, and not greasy. -Chicken Tawa Rice - so yummy with sweet & savory notes thanks to the pineapple & raisins and peppered peanut masala plus juicy & tender chicken pieces. The beet raita on the side was also good. Overall, the rice was flavorful but not hot-spicy like biryani, so it was perfect for our palate! -Chicken tikka masala - a staple that we had to try. This one is not as sweet as some restaurants make it, which works better for my palate. The chicken appears to be cooked separately and added to the sauce, which worried me but it still tasted tender & flavorful. This dish comes with a huge amount of rice on the side, but I still recommend getting naan to sop up the sauce. -Olive & cheese naan - nice little twist on traditional naan--it's like a simple flatbread pizza! -Garlic naan - fine but I've definitely had better. -Chocolate puffs with mango pudding - fun dessert! Make sure you follow instructions and eat up some of the mango pudding before biting into the puff so as to avoid making a mess. We got a free Marigold (passion fruit) drink for checking in on Yelp, and they served us a free basket of papadum with raita at the start of our meal. Service was friendly, and they automatically gave us 10% off our appetizer as part of the daily happy hour deal. There were about 4 small tables available outdoor. You have to pay inside at the counter, but they bring menus to your table and take your order at your table if you dine in as opposed to order take out.
