This place is a 10 out of 10! I feel like Meridian Idaho is sleeping on this spot. This does feel like a big food chain fast food establishment, but they do really well with still making it pretty authentic. My favorite part was the salsa. It reminded me a lot of what you might get at California Mexican food/Betos but with a little upgrade. I'm unable to comment on its ambiance, as I tried it through DoorDash. I had the asada burrito, and I ordered a side of rice and beans. Unfortunately, though I upgraded (and was upcharged) for the guacamole and salsa with the chips, that didn't arrive with my order. The asada burrito was delicious. The rice was strangely off. The rice at the bottom of the container was good, but the top layer didn't taste as good, as if they had topped it off with the bottom dregs of a rice cooker to fill the container (and it had something that I couldn't identify, something that looked like a shredded tamale corn husk). The beans were soupy and runny, so I just used them to top the whole bag of chips (which they did include). Overall, I rate it higher if the sides weren't off or missing. That's a $1.50 I'm not getting back, as DoorDash's AI insists I "take a picture of the problem," and rejects it outright when I send a picture of nothing. read more

We also ordered the carne asada quesadilla - thinking that we still might be hungry. No way! We were as stuffed as our burrito's. Rapido Burrito is not stingy with their ingredients. They stuff their burrito fully with yummy great quality items such as cheese, tomatoes and carne asada meat. We are real surprised this place got a 3 star rating on Yelp - because they are The bomb! This is a great concept, be able to pull in order real authentic Mexican food, exceptional flavor, and offerings. The staff is very friendly, very eager to help and they get the food out in an extremely fast manner. We have had the tacos and burritos to go, and as I said the food is authentic Mexican cuisine. I feel like most burrito places will give you mostly rice and beans to fill the burrito, rapidos definitely doesn't skimp on the protein and has the perfect amount of everything. I was looking for a New Mexican food place that I could take food home and after reading the reviews I decided to drive through Rapido Burrito and boy am I glad I did! I ordered the Carne Asada tacos, Carne Asada Rapido Burrito and Carne Asada Nachos and it was all excellent. This might be a drive through but the quality of the food is "sit down restaurant" quality for sure. And the portions are very large. The corn shells on the tacos were larger than an average corn shell. The burrito was overstuffed, and the nachos were not lacking in ingredients. I came here only for the breakfast burritos so I'm only speaking on behalf of that but $14 for two decent sized burritos with 2 sides of salsa each! That's a damn good price. Got one bacon and one chorizo, both were delicious. Just meat, cheese, eggs, and potato. I do wish they used hash browns instead of tater tots in the burrito, but that's just a personal preference. Good prices, and burrito was fairly large. only like 4 burrito options total though . For a burrito place that seems silly. Chorizo burrito was about 5% chorizo and 95% eggs and tater tots. Literally eggs, tater tots, chorizo, and cheese. Anybody could make what they do in their own house. Gyro Shack is hella bland anyways so I'd expect the same from their new concept. I give it 6 months (at most). Seems anybody can get into the food/beverage market in this town because people have no standards on food here.
