After going for dinner on our anniversary I now remember why we don't go there anymore. Used to frequent every week, EVERY WEEK. Between the price gouging like many other restaurants and the extra charge for another small basket of chips and salsa (seemed to start after Covid Show), the clincher was the "surcharge" for using a credit card. Food and service was good, just OK, nothing special at 3pm in the afternoon. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the Treasure Valley! Everything we've tried is amazing. We joke that they are sauciers because every single sauce is so tasty. My personal favorite is the mole. The crema is also really good. Chips & salsa - especially the jalapeño salsa is so yummy. Their rice & beans are spot on. Don't forget the margaritas or the horchata. First time visiting this restaurant as I wanted to try out a new Mexican place. The food was excellent. I had the Seafood Burrito, which is not something I would normally order. It was the best Mexican dish I have had from any restaurant in this valley. So many other choices on the menu had caught my eye, but I would return just for a repeat on this dish. The person having the Mole dish indicated enjoyment and a high rating as well. My Pina Colada made me happy and my wife was eager to share. The service was fast and kind. This location is horrible. Really bad service, unfriendly waitress and the food was bad. Carne asada was burnt with no flavor or marinade. Seems like they only use salt and pepper. Pozole tasted like nothing but salt. They charge $3 for an additional salsa and they charge you for using a credit card. However their location in McCall is the complete opposite of that location is great. I wish the managers and cooks of McCall ran this place read more

The flavor along with price, 3 stars. You may like it though, just a preference thing. Carne tacos- 4 stars - they were good. No wow factor but definitely got what you expect like it was from a taco food cart. Price was $13 for 3 tacos rice and beans. Carne asada plate - got 2-3 pieces of decent size steak. Pueblo Lindo is our go to Mexican spot for a sit down meal or takeout. Definitely the best we've had since moving to Idaho 4 years ago. We had originally stumbled across their McCall location. Food is good 95% of the time. Some times the rice is super dry. But that's a rarity. Their michelada is my favorite in town. Staff is always extremely friendly. Chips and salsa is great. Big fan of the enchiladas Jalisco. It's 3 different types of enchiladas. Highly recommend giving this spot a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Service is fast and the the team is very friendly but let's be real, Pueblo Lindo is Caucasian Mexican food and for most of Meridian, that's ok but for me, it's underwhelming. Whether it was my vegetable fajitas or my wife's Camarrons a la Diabla, there's a decent amount of cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, and other flavors missing from these dishes. It's a shame. I like the decor, especially the Equipal chairs but minus the wayward plants that need some attention. Our server was friendly and our order came out fast almost too fast. Would I come back? I think this. Maybe during happy hour or just to get away from the emails and Teams calls to have a beer or two. It's a miracle that I was even able to get my husband to try another Mexican food place in the Treasure Valley, as so many are quite disappointing. I love when you walk in, you are hit with the smell of home cooking and chargrilled goodness. Hubby ordered the Pueblo Lindo Enchilada with ground beef, I ordered the Pueblo Lindo burrito with chicken. Everything came out quickly for the kitchen, hot and fresh tasting. Everything was rich and flavorful, very large portions, so there's a lot for what you pay for. There are no sides that come with either of these dishes...and unless you really like to eat a lot, they aren't really needed. Only drawbacks are that you only get one basket of chips...additional charge if you want more. Bummer since the salsa is so wonderful but you don't get enough chips with the first basket to enjoy that and chips with dinner. The Cadillac margarita was a super heavy pour of tequila...to the point that it almost felt like that was all I was drinking. Some people may prefer that, but if that's the case, I would have ordered shots. Also, a surcharge for using credit, so bring cash. Otherwise, the service was prompt and friendly, though cola refills were never offered (maybe not an option?). Luckily, hubby loved his time at Pueblo Lindo and we can't wait to go back. read more

This is probably the closest to real Mexican food I've found here in the treasure valley, aside from just the street tacos at Tito's in Kuna, but I had the Chile Rellenos and I swear it had a sweetness to the inside and it was super runny. It was a little odd. Made me think they use condensed milk in their cheese or something. Not sure! The location is great with plenty of parking and the inside is adorable with Mexican tables and chairs and the plates are MASSIVE. The staff are so nice and welcoming and all were attentive! Seated promptly on a Sunday afternoon. We got drinks within minutes and order was in within 5. Chips and salsa, along with a bean dip, we're constantly replenished. Food came out within 10 minutes and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Highly recommend a combo plate if you're hungry, nice to try a variety of items, #17 is my favorite! A hidden gem!!! I've driven through this parking lot several times and past this intersection countless times and didn't notice Pueblo Lindo until this past weekend. So happy I finally saw their sign and checked it out. Went for lunch on New Year's Eve with my wife and her mother. We were all impressed and I will definitely return again. The food was OK, but not great. Nothing bad, just not as flavorful as Mexican food should be. My son had the Arroz Con Pollo it was decent but had an almost ketchup taste. The Chile Verde was OK but it was just missing something. Similar with other dishes our group had. For the quality and flavor of the meal I felt the prices were on the high side.
