The service was really lovely. Constantly checking in for more water or if we needed anything. We started off with their Mezcal cocktail, which my husband loved. And I had a flight of sake. I wasn't in love with any of them. But they were all palatable. We shared the Shishido peppers which were absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. We asked for some soy sauce on the side and find that an occasional dip of the pepper really brings out the flavor. We also shared the Wagyu Tataki. The presentation is lovely as it is for all the dishes. However, I found it slightly chewy. But the accompaniments were outstanding. We also shared a 14 ounce 30 day dry aged New York strip. Presented beautifully. Cooked perfectly medium rare. Accompaniments and sauces. Also terrific. However, we did not find that the steak had any actual flavor. But it was smooth and easy to chew.
