The first thing I noticed right away is they actually answer their phone when they call so that was already a plus for me. I was able to schedule an estimate quickly and get someone out to help us address our main issue which was our kitchen not venting correctly, in addition to a fireplace that we would soon need because of the cold Detroit winter. As a new homeowner, we did want to make sure that the fireplaces were in good working condition before we actually started using them so we requested a estimate on what the service and maintenance could potentially be for the fireplaces that we had in our house and any recommendations that they would have. The process was very straightforward. They easily walked us through the quote and what was needed and why, in addition to what the current condition of the fireplace was in to what would need to be done and how it would fix the problem as well as what comes after the service what could be expected what they would be able to help us with should we come across any hiccups after the fireplace maintenance and what warranties came with the products that we purchased. We purchased dampers some gas fire logs, and had our fireplaces updated so that we could use them last winter. From there coming this winter, we assumed that we would have to have the fireplaces serviced again because it was a new year, though we only had a handful of fires in the living room fireplace they scheduled the appointment. They were prompt and scheduling, as well as coming out for service and transparent enough to say we haven't used our fireplace enough to fully warrant a cleaning. This was refreshing to see this type of honesty from a contractor. Then we ended up having an issue with the smoke coming into our house on our serviced fireplace. They were able to address solve an analyze, the reasons why the smoke was coming in to our living room, though everything looked up-to-date and ready to go. It was next level problem-solving skills that they would rarely run across because of the unique fireplace that we had in our Historic house. It was very appreciated that they did not just give up and ask us to spend a gazillion dollars to throw money at a problem. We hired Art of Stone to inspect the fireplace and chimney in our new home. The gas fireplace had…read morenot been used in ~2 years, and we weren't sure the condition. Will and his crew were prompt, clean and courteous. Will showed me where our existing chimney was basically falling apart (yay old homes!), and explained how he could rebuild it using reclaimed brick that would match the original. He was very thorough in tracing the gas lines through the property to ensure there were no leaks anywhere, and getting gas restored to the fireplace. He also showed me where there were cracks on the fireplace refectory panels, and sealed them to prevent damage. His crew even vacuumed the gas logs so we weren't burning off dust when we lit the fire. Very highly recommend. We hope to use them in the spring to rebuild our chimney.

Corey repaired our very old and discontinued gas fireplace after another company came out and said…read morethey could not. Nancy did the homework to identify an alternative pilot assembly replacement for the discontinued one. Corey (clearly an experienced and skilled technician) came out to do the repair, worked around some problem issues, communicated well, and fixed it--all for a fair price. He was meticulous about cleanup leaving the fireplace and immediate surroundings cleaner than before. While their service backlog was a month, the knowledgeable, efficient service was well worth the wait.

Very rude from the beginning! I came to my door without a…read moremask. My dogs were barking at my heals. I asked the male to back up he didn't move. I shouted twice to back up. Then he walked away. I stepped outside and closed my dogs inside. The man was getting in his truck. I stood on my porch and asked him if he was leaving? He said he was. I explained to him that I had no mask and needed room to step out. Advised him there was a pandemic going on and needed the distance. He said that he misunderstood. I advised him my wife was getting over cancer and that I still needed to maintain a safe environment for her. At that point advised him that I would put the dogs away and he would have access directly to the fireplace through our front door. When the work was over I took a look up the flue of the chimney. As you can see in the pictures that the flu liner past the damper is still filled with loose objects hanging off of the inside. When I approached the man about it he became irritated and hostile. At that point I told him that he was a dick and that I would be stopping payment on the check. He kept cursing me out of my name to the point that I told him to get off my property.
