But the deli counter is solid and stocked with Boars Head products. The meat section has everything you need and I've gotten some good cakes from the kids at the bakery. There is a small prepared foods and salad bar section, it could be better but its size is likely due to the amount of business it gets, which seems limited. They usually have a few cash registers open, but if you don't have many groceries, there are many self checkout stations that never have much or any wait.

Kristen was the attendant. I'm shy, so it took me a while to finally speak up for myself--i didn't want to be rude. She told me the hotdogs were gonna take a while. She had given away the last hotdogs. I tried to ask her to check for my number to make sure it wasn't lost but she refused. Kristen dismissed me and walked to the back. She returned a few minutes later with a coworker and was laughing looking in my direction. 15 minutes later, the new batch was ready. Kristen had an order for 2 hotdogs so I was sure they were mine. But then she called order 137. We were 112. Luckily my dad intervened and said "no that's order 112." She shrugged then threw the hotdog bags at him. ??!! Insane behavior. An acknowledgement would've meant a lot, but instead it felt like I was being gaslit. I think they may have lost the ticket but she wouldn't look at my receipt to check!

When I moved into the area, I tended to patronize the bigger grocery stores in the area. And then one day a family member, looking for a hard-to-find item for a special meal (Major Grey's Chutney for a curry supper) went to all the stores and ultimately found it at Geisslers. This has happened several times with hard to find items not being stocked in the large chain stores, but on the shelves of this small supermarket. Their stock is good; the produce department had excellent fruits and vegetables. The bakery las a wide variety of cakes and pies, and while it is not a large store, you can find good things here. Good brands, good produce, good bakery, a clean bathroom, really nice, helpful and knowedgeable staff. There have been several times when the big box stores didn't have something I absolutely needed - and Geissler's did. Highly recommend. (==
