Onions and cilantro are optional but had to have them. Al Pastor was the winner. Followed by the carnitas and lastly the asada. Al Pastor had great flavor and the asada was just ok. Free admission, no line for entry, advance tickets unnecessary, no ticket check at all. This food festival is almost identical to 626 and Foodieland, but only one fifth the size. It had all the same elements, just "mini" versions... a mini stage with live music, a mini sized area with games and prizes, a minimal number of merchandise vendors, minimal seating options (mostly near the stage), and even less tables, so hopefuly you like eating on your lap or standing up, and even with about 20 food trucks/tents and drink stands, it felt like minimal food offerings as well. Good news is this meant the crowds, lines, and waits were mini too, or non-existent. I went around 6pm, and I think the longest line I saw was about 7-8 people, and for many there was no line at all. Admission was free and I rsvp'd for tickets online, got an email and done. You could also scan a QR code at the entrance for free admission. It was not too full, so there were almost no lines for the food vendors. We were able to try a few different ones and also found a place to sit and eat. We did enjoy the selection of food vendors, just wished that the market overall had been a little bigger. Had a good time and would definitely go again next time.

She is quite a busy lady so I was pleased that she remembered my event and knew that it was coming up and assured me not to worry. The day of the event arrived and her folks came on time. Oscar and Pedro were professional and courteous. They introduced themselves and set to work. They had their own table but it's good to have a couple more tables for their set up. The food was cooked and ready at the time promised. All the food was good: the meats, the grilled veggies, the salads, beans, rice, the salsas, etc. My guests were complimenting on how delicious the tacos were. We ordered for 50 people. Everyone ate yet we still had a lot of leftovers! Fifteen minutes before the allotted food serving time, Oscar gave us a heads up for last call. Everyone got in line again. When it was "closing time," Oscar informed us that we can take all the leftovers and so we brought out all our own trays and containers to take all the food.
