Service I was immediately greeted by a very kind lady when I arrived, which set a great tone right away. She took our order efficiently, and the wait time was only about 4 to 5 minutes before our food was ready. We also asked for an extra order of tacos to go, and she was thoughtful enough to keep them warm inside the truck until we were ready to leave. The service felt attentive and genuinely caring. Food I ordered the pastor and buche tacos, and they were incredibly flavorful. Each order came with a bean taco, grilled onions, jalapeños, radishes, and lime, which was a great touch. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. There were salsa bottles available to grab so we could add as much as we wanted ourselves. Every bite was satisfying, and the tacos really stood out. Ambiance It is a classic taco stand setup. There is very limited seating, but we ate outside by the truck and were still comfortable. The casual street food vibe added to the experience, and it felt relaxed and welcoming despite the small space. Overall, this taco stand delivers great service and delicious food. I would definitely come here again.

This place is a hidden gem off Blossom Hill rd shopping center where the Whole Foods is located. Went here around 9 pm on Wednesday and there was a bit of a line and I see why. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and a asada super burrito. The tacos were cooked just right especially the tortillas. The burrito was crispy and was delicious. There's a table to eat, but it's not too spacious. The people here are very welcoming and friendly. Must try if your in South San Jose.

Location: San Jose, off Blossom Hill in the parking lot of an auto shop. Ambiance and Decor: Taco truck, with a couple of tables available. Service: great quick service. For those that are wondering, yes they are bilingual, and they take cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Drinks: during my visit I didn't order a drink but they do offer Mexican Coca-cola and Sprite, along with the Fresca. Food: They offer Tacos, quesadilla, burritos, torta, Mulita, and Taaquito. Meats available are carne asada, lengua, pollo, chorizo, and Pastor. Today's visit we order a burrito lengua and burrito carne asada. The burritos had flavor but they were missing something that prevents me for putting 5 stars. The orange sauce was fire, but I needed a ton of orange sauce for me to complete my burrito. The size of the burrito were mid, which is someone disappointing from someone who hangs out in downtown and East Side San Jose. Overall, it's still a fair place to have Mexican food if you're in the Cambrian side of San Jose.

I've kept hearing that this good truck is better than most of the Mexican restaurants in SSJ, so we had to give it a shot. My wife and I kept it simpl for our first time here, just two Super Carne Asada Burritos to go. While we waited for our food the lady who took our order gave us a cup of birria consume to get the night chill off. Wow, that was delicious, probably the best I've tasted in this area. We will definitely be ordering a few Quesabirrias on our next visit. The burrito was grilled to perfection, filled with deliciously prepared asada, with just enough rice and beans. We will definitely be returning. Clean truck, friendly staff, and great food at a very far price in this economy.

Best tacos in town! Tacos Molina easily one of the best taco spots in San Jose and a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Mexican food. The tacos are packed with flavor, especially the carne asada and al pastor, which are always juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The tortillas are warm and fresh, and the toppings are simple but high quality, letting the meat shine. Their salsa bar adds another level, with bold, spicy options that elevate every bite. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great place for a quick meal or late-night craving. It's consistently delicious and never disappointing!

    chicken burrito, also really good

The carne asada tacos and burrito were very good and the workers are very friendly and sweet. The little bean taco is a nice touch as well.

I was looking around for a taco truck late at night and ended up making my way over here. It's a taco stand set up in the parking lot. Service was fast and the lady was nice. The tacos were all cheap too, iirc, about 3 bucks each. So the tacos were all really good. The meats were all juicy. I really liked the pastor but I'm always partial to lengua. I got their spiciest salsa which was really good and spicy. They also gave me refried beans which I enjoyed! Overall, this was a great taco spot and I'd come back!

Some places just get it right every single time and this taco truck is one of them…read more I've ordered through DoorDash and picked up directly from the truck, and the experience is identical either way: fresh, correct, and consistent without fail. That kind of reliability is more rare than it should be, and it's worth calling out. The tacos themselves are the main event. The Carne Asada, Suadero, and Al Pastor are all standouts, but the Al Pastor especially earns its spot. They serve it with pineapple, which is the way it's meant to be done and a detail that tells you they actually care about getting it right. These are easily some of the best tacos in San Jose, and I don't say that lightly given how much competition there is in the South Bay. But the drinks alone might be worth the trip. Their Horchata and Agua Fresca are genuinely among the best I've had anywhere in the Bay Area and that's a real statement in a region with no shortage of excellent options. The salsa bar is a nice bonus: a self-serve setup where you scoop what you want into containers, and they send you off with baggies of fresh cilantro and onion so you can finish the tacos exactly how you like them. They actively encourage you to take plenty, which tells you a lot about the kind of place this is. The staff is warm and welcoming on top of everything else. Truly one of the best taco trucks around. Don't sleep on it!!

This is the only time I didn't finish the burrito and usually it has a lot more flavor but unfortunately this time I was disappointed in the quality to the point I didn't finish it. Tacos suadero 8/10 cabeza con el vapor 9.5/10 lengua con el vapor 6/10 carne asada 6/10 al pastor 8.5/10 The tacos were the star of the show tonight with the their Al Pastor Tacos and Cabeza con el vapor! Those had the best flavor profile The green and orange sauces were okay, not extremely flavorful and receive a sauce rating of 2.5/5; it's good for the first couple bites then the flavor fatigue gets real. Next time only cabeza and al pastor in taco form. Panchito is a nice taco truck located next to the tire shop. They have extremely nice staff that really make you feel at home. I usually come here whenever I am craving Mexican food and sometimes it is hit or miss. They have tables outside but sometimes it's too cold at night so I Togo the food home, but they always play some great music there!

Today, I decided to order the Chicken Fajitas, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, it was the most delicious fajitas dish I have ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were cooked just right, and all the flavors came together beautifully. Everything was cooked to perfection. The portion size was very generous, and the sides were fantastic. The guacamole, sour cream, Spanish rice, and black beans were all fresh, flavorful, and complemented the meal perfectly. I've always enjoyed the food here, but from now on the Chicken Fajitas will definitely be my regular order. Well-deserved 5 stars. Thank you, El Halal Amigos!

This was my very first visit to El Halal Mexican Restaurant in the heart of downtown Willow Glen,…read moreand I've been wanting to stop by for a while. I finally decided to give it a try after hearing about the restaurant from food reviewer Dave fiore text. As someone who absolutely loves tacos and is always on the hunt for great local taco spots, I was excited to see how this place compared to some of my favorites. I ordered four different tacos, and overall, they were pretty good. They weren't bad by any means, but they also didn't quite blow me away. The meat was cooked well, the tortillas were fresh, and the tacos had good flavor. The salsa was decent too, although I personally prefer something with a little more kick. Everyone has different tastes, so this is just my opinion. One thing I really appreciated was how clean and organized the restaurant was. You can tell they take pride in keeping the dining area nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly, and my food came out quickly. It's always a good sign when a restaurant pays attention to both cleanliness and customer service. I've eaten at a lot of taco places throughout the Bay Area, so I naturally compare every new place to some of my favorites. While El Halal Mexican Restaurant didn't make the top of my list, I still had a good experience and I'm glad I finally gave it a shot. Not every restaurant has to be your favorite to be worth visiting. I also like supporting family-owned businesses because I know how much hard work goes into running a local restaurant. They deserve credit for creating a clean, welcoming place and serving quality food. Will I come back? Maybe. If I do, I'd probably try something different on the menu instead of the tacos. Sometimes a restaurant's best dish isn't the first thing you order, and I'd be interested in seeing what else they have to offer. Overall, I'd give El Halal Mexican Restaurant a solid 4 out of 5 stars. It was a good experience, I'm happy I finally got to try it, and if you're in the Willow Glen area, it's worth stopping by and deciding for yourself.
