Rat Issues customer service is by far the best. When they were contacted, they scheduled a site check and gave us an estimate right away. They are very thorough about what needs to be done whether it's in the crawlspace, the vents around the perimeter of the house and they even walk your attic and provide video to show you the rat infestation, the feces in attic and various entry points through the roof eaves and vents that the rats are entering. If you have questions, they pick the phone up and answer them so kindly. They are very responsive. Once the estimate was approved the work was scheduled within a few days. The workers are very careful and clean and did a fantastic job of sealing all entry points, setting traps and leaving bait. Amazing and quality work. Recently we had rodent infestation in our house and one of my friends referred me to Juan from Rat Issues. Juan did a thorough inspection around the entire perimeter of the house, roof, attic and crawl space. He was able to well articulate the problems he suspected and provided a comprehensive plan. Had a rat that made it inside the house. It came in every night into the kitchen for the past several days. I called Rat issues for free inspection and estimate. Juan from Rat issues checked the attic and roof and found entry points from the roof. I also wanted to find out how it got inside the home from the attic. Still don't know how it made it to the living area. but Juan suggested to seal all the entry points to prevent re entry and put traps in the living area and attic. After three months of being terrorized by a rat, we called Juan at Rat Issues. Within 3 days of Juan and his teammate fortifying our house and setting traps in the appropriate places our issue was no more. We first noticed our uninvited visitor in October however thought it to be a mouse. After setting a couple of traps which the "mouse" tripped but was not caught, we discovered the "mouse" was actually a rat, and out of our league. After 6 weeks of setting my own glue traps, electric traps, a couple trail cameras and calling a "national company" who came out once but refused to return calls, we finally found 2 promising companies on Yelp both specializing in rat infestations. We requested and received quotes from both Juan at Rat Issues and the competitor. Both had the same suggestions however Juan's quote was significantly less than the competitor, so we took our chance and went with Juan. We are so happy we did! Juan and his teammate were absolutely great. They came out the next day, a Tuesday, were on time and totally professional. Juan explained the process; secure and sanitized the house first, trap the rat in the crawlspace (we knew it was a Norway rat not a roof rat), remove any other food source and force it to go for the bait on a snap trap. Juan and his teammate began outside with the lower perimeter and fixed the first company's mistakes; they placed fresh mesh where needed in the vents and concrete patched in other spots. They then went up to the second floor and did the same. FYI, they also take before and after photos to show their work. Once the outside was secured, they checked the attic and then cleaned and sanitized the inside where the rat had been, and patched and secured the holes it had made. Finally, they went into the crawl space and did the same. Once everything was secured, traps were set in the crawlspace, and we were in waiting mode. Just as Juan said, we immediately quit catching the rat on the trail camera and within 3 days we quit hearing gnawing sounds. Juan came out the following Monday, opened the crawlspace lid and there it was. It has been over a week and have had no other issues and the house is beginning to go back to normal. I sent a request out around 2:30 AM that I had a rat issue in my house. I knew it was a rat because of the size of the droppings. Juan replied to me within 30 minutes! He showed up the next morning, spent at least 45 minutes looking for entry points and then went into my attic where he found activity.
