I found a rat nest in my pool house and discovered a more extensive problem in the crawl space and attic. The first company I called, not Eagle, excelled in fear mongering and completely lied about the extensiveness of the rodent problem. I wanted to get another quote so I called Eagle. The operator on the phone was incredibly helpful and polite. She worked to ensure that an inspection could happen before the end of the week. Santiago came out, explained what was going on, what his company could and could not do. He also verified that the other company had straight out lied. (This was verified by a third company as well.) Santiago's team showed up a week later with 4 guys, they worked all day to seal any entries in both the attic and crawl space. They cleaned, disinfected and applied pheromone repellant. They then set traps with peanut butter. The crew lead by Sebastion was efficient, polite and helpful. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them and a friend has already used them as well. They resealed every vent in the attic and crawlspace - and ours were especially challanging becasue of an older home where the vents had been penetrated by contractors over the years. Heard rat activity in my attic and found these guys who do not only clean up but more importantly prevention. Initial inspection was free and quick - they explained how the whole process would go, from cleanup in the house to rat proofing the exterior, as well as the one year warranty that comes with the service. They took a quick look, quoted a fair market price and scheduled an appointment for a week out. The staff came on time and were quick, efficient and thorough. They took photos of all possible entry points that they sealed up with either wire mesh and/or cement. They also left a few traps in the attic to capture any rats that may have been sealed inside. They did minimal clean up for us since our problem was relatively mild, but they mentioned they would usually vacuum, sanitize, and replace insulation in severe cases. Two weeks later they follow up to check in - we were still hearing noises so they did another house visit. They were able to find another place that hadn't been properly sealed. Since then we thankfully haven't heard anything else, and it's been a few months since the service was completed. Had Santiago come out for a rodent issue -- heard scratching in the soffit vent for months but never actually saw anything, which made the whole thing feel slightly surreal. There were some communication hiccups with his team along the way, partly due to language barriers, but Santiago was genuinely patient and made the effort to get on the same page. That goes a long way. His team sealed up entry points throughout the house and set traps. A follow-up visit is scheduled. Fingers crossed this is the last I hear from my uninvited soffit vent guest. Price is on the higher end, but he offered a 20% discount. Given the scope of work involving the roof, I think it's reasonable. I contacted Eagle Rodent Proofing after actually seeing a rat try to pull an apple from our tree under our house. Zach came out for the initial consultation and after seeing and pointing out signs of an early infestation, went over how their "program" works. We agreed to the price and terms and David and his crew came a couple of days later. They were all great! Very friendly, polite, and respectful of our home. After they were done, David gave us a walk-around and showed us all of the work they did including patching up a massive crack in our brickwork that showed signs of a rodent nest. A follow-up was scheduled for 2 weeks after that initial visit but we actually requested one after 1 week due to a mistake that was our own and Ellie was nice enough to schedule that for us. Andre came out and did what we requested without hassle. While the price might seem high compared to other companies, note that their service is comprehensive. They will continue to service your home until the infestation is gone including closing entry points, cleaning and disinfecting, and setting and removing traps. We had a rodent infestation in our crawlspace. We took multiple estimates; most folks were recommending we replace our HVAC ducts as they were apparently broken. Further inspection revealed that they were not, and were in fact galvanized steel which is extremely sturdy. Replacing them would likely make them weaker, as aluminum is not as strong. Had a great experience with Sean from Eagle. He was very straightforward and didn't try to push a bunch of extra stuff on us. He communicated readily and answered questions. One thing I appreciated was that Sean recommended dealing with the rodents first, and only once they are gone, consider any additional work (replacing ducts, adding vapor barriers) as trapped rats will try to chew through anything to try and escape. read more

It's been great so far! Zack had availability the same day to come out which was perfect! And he's been very responsive, transparent, and able to easily coordinate, despite a somewhat tricky situation where I'm doing this on behalf of my elderly mom who does not live with me and has full time caregiving. We paid $2/square foot since we don't have an attic (vs. their usual $2.50/square foot), and they spent a full day sealing up rodent entry points into the house with concrete and wire mesh - he assured me that this is stronger than what other companies use-, as well as cleaning/sanitization, and setting traps. He even sealed up some holes that were caused by bees. Now we alert him every time one is caught, and his team comes over to remove and re-inspect and set traps again. This process continues until the problem is solved. Warranty is for 6 months, but Zack assured me that they would continue to work with us if the problem persisted longer than that. (Although he said most rodent issues are solved within 2 weeks to 2 months.) read more

We're about halfway through our rat removal process. Zack and the crew spent a day inspecting, sealing, removing insulation and cleaning the crawlspace under the house and the attic. They set out the peanut butter traps and we are now waiting. Gradually the scurrying and chewing heard at night diminished. Two inspections in two weeks found evidence of a couple of potential entry points that were sealed. Waiting another week or so and we'll schedule installation of brand new clean insulation in the attic. Thankfully it hasn't been too hot because without insulation the house is noticeably warmer.
